There is no universe where gta 6 comes out and people aren't upset or disappointed in some way. I'm sure the game will be good but people's expectations are so astronomically high that there's no way they'll actually be met.
I think its more the time between releases that does that. GTA 5 was 11 years ago, the same year the 780 ti was a top gpu. ofc the players are going to expect high. otherwise what the fuck have they been doing for well over a decade?
my expectations are on the floor. I fully expect an online mode that nickels and dimes you gor everything, and what you can buy through in game means will be designed specifically to discourage you from making in game money.

what's special is that people found the bilibili trailer which has better quality and started dissecting some details that were lost in the youtube trailer, some of those details are new to the franchise

Streaming gets to compressed 22-24 mbits at its best, often even lower, meanwhile Blu-Ray is uncompressed 36 mbits, That’s also the reason why on a 1080p TV, 4K videos still look better then 1080p, even so the screen can’t actually display all the pixels.
This is why I tell people streaming "4k" is more similar to Blu-ray 1080p at best. Real 4k from a UHD Blu-ray looks SIGNIFICANTLY better. That's also why I hate that companies like Disney still upload trailers in 1080p on TH-cam. With that compression & low bit rate, they look awful unless you're viewing from a phone.
Can anyone tell the TH-camrs that most of us don't see any difference when they show this in contrast to that because we either don't have the proper screen or other piece of tech to display
