    Julie, so enjoyed watching hing you work. I wanted you to hold it up to the light and to turn it over so we could see the light come thru from both sides.

    It's very relaxing just watching you 'tangling'. Your voice is so calming.

    Julie, great tile! This is one I will work with my 89yo mom! (She doesn't get the kit vellum tiles, but a larger, nice paper one.) She loves to do Zentangles. The only thing I might do differently is to add a tiny bit of black charcoal blended out around the outside and inside edges of the donut to add a little more dimension, as well as the chalk ribbons where they go under the donut. Your process explanations are great!

    You could use the same technique you used for the outside and apply it to the center of your orb.

    I've got a lot of zentangle supplies. Can I improvise (sp) with my own supplies? I've done a few zentangle designs. I've several zentangle books. I started with Zentangle Basics book #1 by Suzanne McNeill, CZT and started One Zentangle a Day: A 6-week course by Beckah Krahula, CZT. I think that I might have completed day 2. As I remember, I had to do quite a bit of preparation before I could get to the lesson.

    Should we use a fixative on these?

    • @Zentangle
      @Zentangle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have not experimented with any fixatives yet on these tiles.

    Art is the process not the product. My belief.
