My graphics comparison of F1 2018 on PC, PS4 and PS4 Pro. PC is set to 4K resolution and max. graphics. I noticed some minor technical issues on PS4 and PS4 Pro. Some textures were taking time to load and PS4 Pro had some stuttering issues. Maybe this will be fixed in upcoming patches.
The Xbox One and One S are basically the same. The S just has a slight overclock to the GPU, but it doesn't change anything to the graphics settings. They did the overclock to slightly improve framerates in games that weren't hitting their framerate targets. One=OneS in terms of visuals in every game.

Came here for the PS4 vs. PS4 pro difference to assess whether it's worth paying out for the upgrade. It seems the differences are clearer textures and a slight improvement on the frame rates, however these don't feel significant enough to pay out on an upgrade - especially with the PS5 around the corner. If the PS4 Pro crashes in price then it might be a worthwhile value proposition; so it might be a case of waiting a little longer.

People in this comment section need to realize, that this more a comparison between the ps4 pro and the regular ps4. The PC is only there for a reference of what can ultimately be reached with this game in terms of graphics.
Went from PS4 to PC in F1 2020. Didn't notice much of a difference. Then, one night, I was rendering a video so I went back to the PS4 to play a few races. Good God, the difference was crazy. The PS4 looked so muddy on my TV and had so many noticeable stutters. Not to mention the FFB on my wheel felt muddy as well. Like there wasn't any detail to the FFB.

PC is better, because: -It's too much more powerful -You can easily access the Internet, TH-cam and social networks -It has a lot of exclusives too -You can use various programs -It's easy to type fast -Games are too much cheaper or even free -It can have 10TB of storage and 32GB of RAM -You can make video calls while play -You can minimize the game to do other things while play I confess the PS4 controller is better for F1 games.

I am old school and was taking my Engineering classes in college when the 1st Tandy PC's came out as a kit. I have been coding on mainframes and early pc dos os's like IBM dos and Q basic and such before MS DOS. I will always take a gaming PC over a console any day! I did own an Atari 800XL back in the day but it was a pc with a console game slot to play games as well as run computer programs. I do not own a console now. I had an old school Nintendo but that was it. PC every time. The main reason, MODS! :)
consoles are optimized and it has locked fps. u cant mess with resolution or settings that much and its not upgradable. it will be obsolete in a few years.

Ok listen, if you are buying a PC because of graphics, you are ,frankly, not spending your money right. While PC is better in terms of graphics, it is not really significant. If I were to ever to get a PC, it would be mainly for frame rates and what you can do with it. I can buy a used PS4 Pro and an Xbox one X for like 300-350 dollars, good luck building a PC that performs better for the same price. Most people who build PCs, do not build a PC that is more powerful than those consoles. Building a PC for frame rates and other advantages, not graphics, is definitely worth it.

There are differences, but the differences aren't that big. PS4 and PS4 Pro are stuttering a little bit and sometimes the fps drops, but a PC would do that too. A PC that costs 1500€ is good and for gaming perfect, but mine isn't that bad. Tbh mine isn't that good and I could only play it on lowest settings - with one thing why I'm gonna play it on PC: There are more adjustable things in the settings! With that feature I can handle my FPS. Playstation only has 30fps. Thats shit. I think thats why it stutters and has FPS-drops.

On long term pc is Best for sure. After years you just upgrade some parts. PS, you need to buy all again... And games for one gen, dont work on the next gen... But pc is more expensive on the start... My gtx cost more then the Ps4 xD. But is worth every peny. Ps4 in my opinion is just for exclusive games. In my case is God of war, Red dead redemption...

Pc's are much more expensive. Most consoles are less than 500 euro's, a pc that can run f1 2018 in 4k is at least over 1200 euro's.
