Good f'n god where do I even begin with this one. High level, high effort, big brained, understands itself and what it sets out to do. It isn't derivative in any way that causes friction, the tropes employed are tactful and charming. The characters invite you to understand them and then toy with that understanding throughout. Nevermind the well put-together choreography! I lack the poetry and language skills to really get at why this one scratches the itch. Good stuff.
Well, there will be always someone better them you on something but you are the CREATOR that inspired all the people with passion. If you didnt created madness combat, we would never see this masterpice done. ❤😊
This animation legit made me worry about the characters safety, until the three faced punk took a whiff and it was all over. Tbh suspected something was insanely wrong with him from the time he was throwing body parts at one of the gang members.
Honestly, while that was a vile strategy, I think in that world, any strategy goes. However, he probably wasn't preparing to use such a strategy. Also, he lets his friend suffer from almost choking to death, and he might be sad after he doesn't die.
There were a lot of hints that he was absolutely deranged before things started to get intense, with probably the earliest being when three face pulled out the knife while they were entering the building and gold cracked stopped him because he knew what he was going to do
You couldn't tell earlier? Like when he knocked off a tombstone and aggressively called the old guy back and the other guy had to correct it while just coming back from visiting a loved one? Or when they were first infiltrating and he had to shoot the guy so he doesn't brutalize him?
In 10:32 the guy that got hit started a decorticate posturing, in medicine it is a sign that the brain got several neurological damage through trauma. The amount of detail in this is more than amazing.
This detail makes the animation all the more unsettling. Its hard to consider this happening IRL but we as madness fans are so used to blatant slaughter to account for the realism.
@@Aleebi Every September 22nd on Newgrounds there's a "Madness Day" event. Each Madness Day has winners selected from every animation using the hashtag for it
The crude combat, the feelings, frustration, anger, panic behind movement animations, the gore, and the sound design made this one of the most powerful madness animations to date. Genuinely never been more disturbed and moved by a madness animation before. Beautiful work.

I honestly feel awful for Abraham. Man stopped by to visit the grave of a loved one, got disrespected by Marcelo, got roped into some mob shit, decided to help Marcelo out of the kindness of his heart, Marcello is a fucking psycho and murders Mikhail for no reason, and then he gets left behind by Marcelo because he decided to tweak off of pixie sticks. What a shitty way to go out.
And the reason it all went downhill was because Marcelo decided to get fucked on Solarflare at the worst possible time. If he hadn't had a tweaking fit after they got the loot, he might've seen that guy hiding around the corner that plugged Mikhail in time. Instead, Mikhail died and Marcelo took the bag and bailed on Abraham only to space out presumably not too far away from the building, either dying from an overdose or just standing there catatonically while the guards who were still alive caught up and finished his worthless hide off.

I think a neat small detail is how melee feels much more heavier and how the bodies also seem to be tougher. Usually in other animations you'll see grunts just easily sliced through and their heads exploding with one hit, but in this animation when someone gets stabbed you can see a bit more struggle in pulling the knife out of him, and when he gets hit he usually tends to be more disoriented and wounded rather than just dying on the spot.
I realised the symbolism of the masks in this movie Look, let's start with the white one aka Mikhail: His mask is a face, with a long chin. The shape of a man's chin speaks of his strength, independence and temperament. White always goes first, he is always the first to enter rooms and he has the most scars on his face because he rushes into battle. He's the most combative on the team. Green aka Abraham, Mask's a near perfect face, but with gold cracks. There are many ways to interpret it, but one thing is certain. He doesn't want his enemies to suffer for long, which is why in the scene he stops Blue (ak a Marcelo) from stabbing the enemy with long kill and also kills the badly wounded. In all the scenes, he only uses long-range weapons, the weapons that are easy to end enemies without a suffer. He's obviously been through a lot and he's also lost a lot. The opening scene shows him regretting his past life for it seems to have taken something loving from him. Perhaps the cracks symbolise his wounds from the past, and yet they still remain gold. He's the cleanest on the team. And the last one, Blue or Marcelo. The most controversial character here. His mask is literally the Mask of Triplicity. The mask of tragedy, the neutral mask, and the mask of comedy. All of these masks are used in theatre. And when Marcelo caught Trip as a finger? That's right. On stage. On theatre. His multiple faces indicate he's chaotic, violent and unsurprisingly, duplicitous. He didn't immediately save the Mikhail when he was choking to death, but waited until he was on last point and only then he save him to look like a "Hero". He may not like this role himself, but that's what masks are for. He's the most chaotic one on the team. Maybe I overthink too much, but still, I love the fact you put so much in this character for this movie, and it's just awesome. Love your work man!
Also, the scene with the big hand is called "Proscenium", so yeah I think you are right. Also, one of the 3 emotions faces the camera when he feels a certain emotion, I think. And at the end, he dies because of the drugs. The thing that really killed him is himself.
Also, the only time where one of Abraham's enemies didn't die a fast death was with the electrocution trap. But then again, that was Marcelo's idea. And Abraham wasn't there I guess.
I really like how methodical and slow the combat is compared to the usual fast hyper combat in most madness animations, makes the animation feel more engaging and less mind-numbing
The very rare occassions when MadCom is being fused with actual realism and its dark corners, something that even fiction can't perform in any form. I was always up for such combination from the start.
Just realized that blue shirt (three masked guy) guy tripped at a gravestone and didn’t even care. But, when the guy with the mustache (golden crack mask) saw the gravestone, he picked it back up. Later on, these action shows who each person are. Very symbolic good job c n.
And the guy with the long chin mask has a few things you might notice. Generally, he is ALWAYS taking up the front (or entering a room first). He had the most scars to reflect that, but whenever someone else goes ahead it goes wrong. According to another person here, his mask reflects how a man’s strength is sometimes perceived by his chin. Dude has a massive chin, to match the strength.
its so different watching it a 2nd time, you realise that blue shirt wasnt scared of pulling it off at the start but rather excited and tried holding his joy back

I like how down to earth this animation is. Main trio isn't a superultra killermachines, they are just skilled mercenaries. They aren't able to mow down an entire hordes of Agents or goddamn superhumans. They are fighting some thugs or cartel members. The pace of combat is more slow. Instead of running and doing insane max payne like stunts (They are still pretty creative tho), more slow tactical movement, only one who were able to sprint are lightweight thugs. And grunts are acting really human. They are afraid of death, they got self-preservation instinct, they also use tactics and can be challenging in hand to hand combat (Mikhail was almost strangled to death) Only ones that are acting chaotic and irrational are drugged animals. They sometimes can't differ friend or foe, and thug shoved to junkie who he should attack, like a fucking dog. Or pain suppression that helps them survive enormous amount of damage (and do not die from pain shock or smth) And environment in this animation is so gritty, it makes gore and violence look really disgusting, that is pretty rare for madness combat. The vibe of this animation reminds me of Manhunt sometimes.
I'm pretty sure that any Madness Combat animation that has unnecessary massacre, not needed deaths and violence to create MORE violence has Madness Combat vibes @@Sumario_23
11:06 Really shows how the drug affects your awareness in combat, specifically detecting enemies. This is literally what happened to marcelo. If he chose to shoot even one bullet at that time, Abraham would've probably died by there. He also shot his own teammates before firing at Abraham. The shakiness too, so much detail
Damn, the music really does its job. The feeling of increasing action at the beginning of the invasion, real disgust and fear during all the actions, and the prosaic ending - the music adds so much emotion to these events.

Another thing I noticed was the specific dude that tripped over the gravestone was the same one who owed the money, and the same one who was the most unstable of the group. Yet another thing also was the fact that the non bald dude was compassionate and took the cig from the ground out of respect for the dead. They also showed little acts of kindness compared to the barbarity of who I'm calling blue shirt. I do also like how they nodded to blue shirts failed attempt of self reflection through the mask, like telling yourself to keep it together and wholly failing on the mark.
@@artime7546 certain kinds of drugs you can take usually cause brain damage. this was also shown in the scene advertising the drug, with one of the dudes noses being bloodied. its the same thing to show to you and the character within the animation that he did in fact actually take the drug.

Insane work. Artistic asf and the choreography was badass and super creative. Made me feel emotions which elevates it past normal madness animations in my opinion.
The difference between this film and others is that is has rich storytelling while the others are focused in breaking into a place and fight while outnumbered, this wasn´t one of them. you depend in others to succeed but one couldn't cooperate and well everything went to hell. Happy madness day guys!
difference between this film and other madness works is that this one talks with seriousness about misery, loss, and the disgrace brought by drugs and organized crime, and deeply reflects about the nature of suffering and identity while most other madness works just uh don't
cool thing to note is that it was said is mikhail always goes first into rooms, yet the moment marcello takes the lead, things start going wrong; room after the courtyard, he gets shot but luckily the mask saves him, next room marcello sets off a trap, leading to injuries and to a near death scenario, and of course the biggest consequence at the end.
The storytelling, character development, and twists are all carefully crafted, andThe action scenes are portrayed with a strong sense of tension, constantly worrying about the safety of the characters. Truly a masterpiece.
i like the way the masks for each protagonist hints at their personality and behavior, and it's honestly a nice touch to the animation as a whole (three-faced mask symbolizing comedy and tragedy, leading to sadism; half-mask having cut corners and not completely covering his face, much like his inexperience and codependency in a fight; full-mask staying composed, putting in the team effort that's unfortunately undermined by others)
I like how some of the enemy combatants are high, there's the sniper who forgets about moustache guy, there's the fedora guy who confuses friend and foe in the coutryard
(plenty of yapping incoming!) HOW TF IS THIS NOT VIRAL?!! I clicked on this out of curiosity, and wow-this is the best Madness Combat animation I’ve ever seen. The cinematography, character development, sound design, world-building, and simple yet effective dialogue are amazing. There’s so much I want to talk about, but I can’t even put it into words (but I’m going to try). 1:13 starts with ravens. 23:00 ends with ravens (very fitting). I feel like the 21:58 sequence doesn’t get enough love. A random guy walks up, sees a corpse, and all he does is rob and desecrate it. This really ties the whole story together. The top dog from the beginning threatens the main three protagonists for some (nonexistent) easy cash. Then, those same three protagonists rob a drug facility for some (not really) easy cash. Finally, the guy at 21:58 repeats the same thing. Kind of like a “if you look weak you are weak” type of world. 3:59 I don’t know why, but this part is so interesting to me. He’s most likely trying to collect himself and remind himself of his identity. Having his normal self and masked self separated for so long probably caused a sort of split personality. The fact that his mask was the first one to be dug out at 3:30 could suggest that when they were all letting go of their past selves, he was the last one who wanted to give up that part of himself (though this might be a bit of a reach). 18:18 I’m not too sure about this part, but I interpret it as him feeling like he’s at the center of the world, possibly due to the effects of the drugs. The finger always points to where he is, and his exaggerated movements make it seem like he’s putting on a performance. 19:24 At this point, I think he feels invisible, throwing his self-preservation completely out the window, expecting everything to go exactly as he wants (and it kinda does). He doesn’t even react to his partner’s wounds, seeing him as an object and leaving him behind. (It’s to the to the point where it’s so laggy to type so i’m just gonna shut up now.) (BTW THIS IS ALL HOW I PERSONALLY INTERPRETED IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE PLEASE LEMME KNOW I WOULD HONESTLY LOVE TO KNOW ❤❤❤)
There is also the "a snake shedding its skin" chapter, saying that he wanted to let go of his past. Also, you didn't even comment on how the 3 face mask has 3 emotions, and the corresponding emotion is looking at the camera depending on the emotion he is feeling. maybe not in every place, but it's definitely a thing, I'm sure of it. Also, the scene with the big arm is "Proscenium", meaning removing the audience from the theater or something like that, so you could be right. However, I saw it as the hand taunting him for his actions, and how he is just staring at it, and the hand keeps following him, like your mistakes and sins do so. He also does the same thing with the sun (probably not real, and also probably the desert too.) that he sees. I found 21:58 really funny, and how he got easy cash by corpse looting, and I was thinking the 3 guys coulda done that too.
I thought the finger was three faced's guilt. Killing his friend was an impulsive decision that he regrets and that he also tries to forget but can't (him shaking his head at 18:50). The hand starts fading away at 19:20 when enemies start coming (might just be so you can see the action better) which shows his guilt fading away in the heat of the moment as he puts survival above everything. What I found interesting is that he doesn't kill his last friend like he did last time instead leaving him for dead which might be a worse fate.
@@impostrousI'm a bit confused as to what you mean by "jokers trap". I tried looking it up but only found an escape room and batman stuff. Would you please elaborate? thanks!

@@shibadogthing9997 Yes, they are there to kill the debt collectors. Guy at 13:30 with boss fight effect is the debt collector at the beginning. You also see him doing pull-ups at 5:00 during the montage showing the place.
The sadism 3-Face (Marcelo) has even for his own teammates is legitimately unsetting even for Madness. The sheer brutality of the gore and violence in general is another level, head trauma causing seizures and vomiting, electrocutions bursting eyeballs, Awesome Fun turning the users into twitching madmen unburdened by pain and emotion other then fervent bloodlust. The environment itself stands out as well, the desaturated coldness of the city and the dilapidated factory heavily contrasted by the graffiti and viscera painted on it's surfaces, this alongside brilliant sound design that makes you feel the weight and impact of every shot and injury and the oppressive and unnerving soundtrack makes this an absolute masterpiece of not just Madness but Animation in general.
Also, Marcelo (3 Face) dies at the end because of some weird head bleeding injury, and at the end his brain has fallen out of his head. I wonder what it can be. Also that the part where he dies is called "Solarflare", the same as the drug, and also the smiling sun is there. And every time you look back at Marcelo, the sun gets happier, and he gets more injured.

@@The-S-H3lf-EaterConsidering the pile of their corpses has his head smashed in at the end, it’s likely it was him being completely out to lunch and looking up at a light bulb as they beat him to death
Now that you say that I see that scene totally differently. I thought that Marcelo (blue shirt) was being cautious because he didn't want to accidently shoot Mikhail (white shirt) or he was just checking around to make sure no one would shoot him if he ran out of cover and that him actually saving him showed he had a good side and did care for his allies but now I realize that doesn't make much sense since he could've just hit him sooner. My only question is why was he looking behind so much? Was he waiting or checking for Abraham? (hair man) Did he want his help or did he want to hide his greed?
i love the variety of the guns on this one. Its quite rare to see when the main character have unique eastern weaponry, such as the VSS and the KS-23. 10/10 production
19:18 I just realised the reason they managed to blow through that door was because Green left his backpack behind which had one grenade in it. If you rewind to the start you can see them pack 2 grenades and during the heist they use only one, leaving the other one in the bag. If Green didn't hesitate to retreat with Blue he would've been fine and took the bag with him, closing the door behind him indefinitely. Regardless though, Those two should of known better than to trust Blue, they probably knew he would act this way and snort some of that product.
I thought the explosion was because green used a big ass artillery shell to block the door, and them pushing on it triggered it. To be fair, not sure why they'd have that lying around, so you're probably right.
Just when I thought you dipped after Gurofriends, you came back with an absolute rollercoaster of an animation. You've proven yourself the master of team combat animations, having three protags to follow and managing to convey their teamwork in such an effective way. While normally I would consider it lame that everything went wrong because one team member just had to do something absolutely stupid, I feel there is much more to the story than that. Marcello (I think that's the Three-Mask guy) was the one who owed money. And thus he is the one who had introduced danger to his friends. This mission would not have gone into motion if it weren't for him. And yet he cannot stop himself from making the wrong decisions, gradually revealing himself to be more and more of a liability and a fucking deranged psycho. By the end I had realized this wasn't your standard revenge affair. It's a story of a toxic friend, someone on the path of destruction, who cannot stop taking advantage of everything and everyone around them, even to their own detriment, even if it will destroy themself. I'm left feeling torn-up for these characters, and that just shows how far this has gone beyond Madness Combat fan animations. Honestly, I think I like your work over Krinkels' work.
I understood the whole aspect of Marcelo being insane, but never realized the he was the liability and not the group. I thought that the group was in debt, and not just marcelo. Thinking of it that way, really puts the pieces together that Mikhail and Abraham had his back. You really do have to cut those people out of your circle. There wouldn’t be an animation of Abe and Mik just simply left town and leave Marcelo to die at the hands of the mob. I personally believe they’ve done this before, because the masks were concealed and they know how to function with them. Not trying to over analyze but the animation was just THAT astounding
I have to agree this level of story telling through the madness medium feels like a whole new genre outside of regular animation especially mc style animations associated with Krinkels work. I like both but this seems so much more impactful.
Marcelo either died in the end from a overdose because he took the whole pixie stick while others just cut a little. Or he did get hit by Abraham and he didnt realize cause he was drugged outta his mind.
I love the detail that red eye enemy guy at 17:20 is somehow surprised that Marcello didn't even checked the corner so he doesn't even shoot him, but when Mikhail actually notices him, he opens fire. UPD: I also noticed a one more detail about that mask guy with pistol. He has an eye on his forehead, and Marcello has an eye on his occiput. At 17:22 their "eyes" are staring at each other, but eneny's one is red because he sees Marcello and Marcello's one is black, like blind because he doesn't see the enemy. Yeah I think it's like that (I'm bad at explaining)
At first, after seeing Marcelo act sneaky I definitely knew he was some sort of traitor and when that enemy didn't shoot him I thought it was because they'd secretly worked out some kind of deal and he would get to run away scot-free but that tactic that you sort of explained made more sense. The whole film I've seen nothing but instant violence, especially from the enemy gang. I was thinking "gang = they will shoot on sight" but obviously if you can get an advantage by attacking from behind that would be a lot easier. Good catch. And yeah the eye thing is interesting, probably has something to do with the philosophical parts. No idea what's up with the sun or the big master hand. Throughout the film we see symbols of eyes.
@@delano4526 Maybe the eye simbolysm is about death watching you? At 7:28 there a eyes on the wall watching everywhere - everyone in that room is now dead. There's also another eyes graffiti, that were looking at a boobytrap. Marcelo has an eye tattoo on the back of his head - he turned his back on his team and they ended up dead. The sun, which was shown on packaging of the drug that Marcello took, glanced at Marcello and he soon died. Though I don't know, the first 2 don't sound that great and I don't see connection between my theory and the scene at 17:20, which must be significant.
That guy had good trigger discipline, basically. You see this kind of thing occasionally happen on counter-strike, even pro matches, rarely leading to one sneaky guy killing all the 5 people on the enemy team.
how finely the work has been done.. there are such subtleties as: 1. The character, after the appearance of the enemy and his subsequent shots in his direction, encourages the enemy to randomly shoot out of fright. 2. Experiencing injury while holding a weapon in his hands, thus the character provokes an accidental pull of the trigger followed by a shot. 3. After death, the corpses twitch, which indicates muscle contraction as in real life 4. After being wounded in a sore spot, the character does not continue to fight, but begins to writhe in agony. (it looks very natural) 5. Characters, like people, experience emotions, and they do the same after the death of their colleague. The partner who killed him was tormented by conscience, accompanied by a finger pointing at him. which shows the main plot very well and is very suitable for the entourage 6. I also want to note that after the shock grenade hit the opponents, they tried to either protect their eyes, or, those who did not have time, experienced severe blindness as well as deafness. Which greatly affected their tactics Thanks to the author for his very well done work! Hello from Russia, And now you have a new subscriber! Привет из России! У тебя теперь новый подписчик!
I've been following *Madness* for a long time, though I don't really understand the ins and outs of the community. I just enjoy the rawness of it. Since I was young, I've always liked this kind of pure violent aesthetics. From the release of the first main installment, I slowly watched all the way to the recently released *Madness 12*. Today, while casually browsing, I stumbled upon *Collapse of the Human Bridge* (I’m not sure if this translation is accurate), and it left me deeply moved. What first caught my attention was the atmosphere this work creates. The drizzle and the gloomy, overcast sky frame three people apathetically attending a funeral, instantly setting a tone of oppression and mystery. This scene immediately grabbed my emotions and piqued my curiosity about the plot, driving me to unravel the relationships between the characters and understand the *Madness* universe. Then, there’s the attention to detail. For instance, A kicks over a gravestone, and later B sets it back up. These two simple actions reveal the basic personalities of the characters: one is carefree, indifferent, and self-centered, while the other is observant and respectful of the dead. There are countless more examples of such attention to detail, but I won’t dwell on them too much due to space constraints. Most importantly, this work excels in its "cinematic sense." Although I’m not a professional in film or animation, I believe that camera language and editing are some of the most crucial parts of any work. This piece abandons the fixed third-person perspective that’s typical of *Madness* animations. Instead of being spectators watching the story unfold from the "stands," we are drawn into the intense combat and character conflicts through various changes in camera distance and angles. The most striking example of this is the ending sequence, where we experience things from B’s first-person perspective-watching an old teammate walk away, having just betrayed two of his own. The sense of anger, hatred, and helplessness hit me deeply, almost as if I were living it myself. After finishing this piece, I was left with a heavy feeling. There’s much more to say about the work itself, but I don’t want to make this too long. The main point I want to express is that this piece can serve as an inspiration for future creations. Personally, I don’t think the creator intended for the audience to simply enjoy the action, but rather to provoke deeper reflection. Unlike some works that rely solely on constant fighting to narrate the story or introduce characters, which can easily lead to aesthetic fatigue, I feel this piece did much better in that regard than the main series (not to say I’m downplaying the main series-I hope it continues to improve as well). While *Madness* characters are expressionless by design, this work brings them to life through nuanced details that hint at their personalities. I really admire the creator for this subtle characterization. A lot of *Madness* animations seem to focus on who kills the most, the fastest, or in the most creative ways, but I feel like this approach hasn’t changed much since *Madness 4*, which came out 13 years ago. Endless displays of violence shouldn’t be the ultimate goal of *Madness* animations but rather a starting point. I genuinely hope future creators take inspiration from this work and that *Madness* continues to evolve for the better! I wrote this in a rush, just for reference.
I grew up on Madness combat since I was 8 and what makes it so special in my heart is growing up alongside the series and the fan community and how insanely far along MC's success has been. To me ever since 6/7 there has been this really secret meta commentary that has grown with the surreal, dystopian, industrial, matrix-esque aesthetic that MC holds. Nevada is a world that solely exists for endless violence solely for an audience beyond comprehension (us) which has ran so far along its course the very borders between life and death increasingly blur by the episode. Originally Krinkles wanted to end the series multiple times (up until MC 5 I think) which is why Hank died since MC2 onwards, but each time Hanks comes back the world becomes increasingly more focused around him until becoming a singular entity known as AAHW. It's really reflected in the liminal complexes MC mostly takes place in with nothing but cargo, pipes, boxes, posters, and rarely other items the AAHW supplies themselves. The further stakes are escalated the more deranged Nevada became represented by its personification between the Auditor and Tricky (They really remind of sheogorath and jyggalag's dynamic in ES) with this extremist power struggle of ultimate control against ultimate chaos and madness that Hank and his friends go up against. I'm really curious to see if Krinkles has an concluding arc to tie everything together somehow, but in a way, as long as people are interested in MC as an animation style the series will never end which is comforting in a way. I'd rather an IP be shared with the fanbase rather than a company lording over an consumer base. I hope Bridge Mankind Collapse brings us a lot more cinematic shots for future Madness Days this piece rivals Krinkles' new stuff!
12:10 Idk why, but this scene felt way too distressing to me. Just the idea that you hear the guy from the back getting slaughtered behind when you thought you'd be safe from being flanked.
The tone of this is really interesting for a madness style project. It feels really grungy and bitter and the music choice especially that emphasizes more ambient tracks is interesting and effective. It feels like an actually gritty crime thriller where the violence can be pretty off putting actually. Like a Zahler film or something. Another thing I find interesting on further reflection is quite opposite to a lot of madness stuff and again it kind of reminds me of some Zahler movies is how like all the protagonists die in very I guess 'uncool' ways and how unceremoniously their deaths and bodies are treated after. Like that final shot is just damn, so crass and maybe people would say tasteless but nah this is genuinely truer to life at how a life of crime is going to end for you, and anybody who has lived in a neighborhood where they have witnessed a drive by or gang related shooting knows exactly what I mean. Yeah I'm aware there are gangsters who made one final last stand and went out guns blazing and shit but statistically your going to end up like one of these guys.
There's a lot said already about the symbolism behind the masks worn by everyone in this and what they represent, but I don't think I've seen anyone analyze what Abraham's could represent; the cracks in his mask are golden, akin to the Kintsugi technique where broken pottery's repaired with lacquer or, in this case, gold. Kintsugi in itself is meant to represent how we can turn difficult situations into something more resilient, which I think brilliantly encapsulates Abe. He's clearly a man who's lost a loved one and is still in mourning, but he proves to be quite the reliable & tactile straightman in his group. He's a man that's broken, but he's not weak. What broke him made him stronger.
11:16 this death in particular shows how much attention to detail the author has when it comes to animating combat, even when it comes to the more mundane kills compared to the absolute gorefest of this animation The guy takes a headshot and all his muscles tense up for a second before going limp and releases his final breath. The bullet hit his grey matter but that doesn't always mean it's an instant ragdoll, Especially when it doesn't hit the center of the brain or severs the brain stem. That stuff is the kind of morbid realism you can only animate if you watched a couple too many liveleak videos. I am amazed and disgusted at the same time, bravo!
@@redblue5140 Seriously if you listen real close to some of the noises the grunts make when they are gravely injured or are killed its so uncomfortable to hear them in such detail. At 8:36 I don't even think he died instantly, the snort noise he made is the body trying to force oxygen into the lungs trying to keep the body alive.
I loved the part where the hand just kept following and pointing at him because he knows he couldve help but decided to run away and it shows how guilty he his at not helping even tho he had the chance but left them for dead and him looking at the hand just proves it even more and how he just cowards out of things and just keeping the money to himself
Idk if anyone noticed but in the solarflare part it was his hallucinations and he die by overdose and found out later by these guy, that why his corps3 likely beaten and t0ture to death (just my theory)
I don't believe he OD'd, his body wouldn't look like that if he did. What I think happened, is that he was caught and tortured to death but was too high to notice he was being murdered.
i might be a voice in the crowd, but i cannot imagine the amount of time, dedication and willpower it took to make this masterpiece. this is by far one of the greatest madness films i have ever seen, and will see again definately. Thank you for blessing us with it, I know it has been a long road but I tell you it is worth it.
This was by far one of the best Madness Combat animations I ever watched. The teamwork between the three of them was top tier and I genuinely cared and worried for their safety Up until the three faced mask went off the rails. It’s rather cool and awesome how subtle you notice his descent to be. Hindsight’s a bitch and I already figured he was sus when he didn’t immediately help his friend 7:44 comes to mind with how he checks the corner and then takes his time butchering the gangster plus the desecration afterwards
i like how the hand that taunts the tri mask fella, was a secret nod to your first animation, “ice cream” (i think). because they both have hands of judgement.
jesus fucking christ this is one of, if not, THE best madness day animation I've ever seen the details, the gestures, the action, EVERYTHING about this is so extremely high quality
Holy moly literally everything the animation, the noises, the movements, the attacks, and literally the overall detail and effect put in into this animation. It’s literally the one of the most surreal combat madness animations ever. If not literally the most surreal. Good job with this man.
Man, this is beyond great! I love the tension of specific parts as the "slithering" scene or the 2 final ones, setting the protagonists as vulnerable against regular enemies and need to cooperate with each other to survive is what i thinks makes everything tie together and bring these moments. In the "Patience" scene i was genuinly worried about the guy with the three faces mask due to not appearing through the majority of the fight.
Loved the sound design, loved the pacing, loved the visual storytelling and totally loved the animation. This represents everything I've been looking for in all of the other Madness games and animations. And it made me feel complete. It's so good it feels profound to finally watch something like this. It is THE BEST Madness project I've seen.

Good stuff.

hi dad

I honestly feel awful for Abraham.

What a shitty way to go out.
Fr, i feel so bad for Abraham, fkcng Marcelo had to fk up all the operation for a damm sniff drg

Usually in other animations you'll see grunts just easily sliced through and their heads exploding with one hit, but in this animation when someone gets stabbed you can see a bit more struggle in pulling the knife out of him, and when he gets hit he usually tends to be more disoriented and wounded rather than just dying on the spot.
one thing to note is when that one guy gets stabbed in the spine every hit took more impact to go deeper
@@pestilentanger"Took more impact to go deeper." 🤨📸
@@Thetheladman2929 LOL i was thinking the same shit
I realised the symbolism of the masks in this movie
Look, let's start with the white one aka Mikhail:
His mask is a face, with a long chin.
Love your work man!
love this, i wondered too what the masks represented and i think you're spot on.
And Abraham wasn't there I guess.
c n spent a year thinking of the mask design.
Golden cracks: you put yourself back together and you're more beautiful than before
I really like how methodical and slow the combat is compared to the usual fast hyper combat in most madness animations, makes the animation feel more engaging and less mind-numbing

They are afraid of death, they got self-preservation instinct, they also use tactics and can be challenging in hand to hand combat (Mikhail was almost strangled to death)
Only ones that are acting chaotic and irrational are drugged animals. They sometimes can't differ friend or foe, and thug shoved to junkie who he should attack, like a fucking dog. Or pain suppression that helps them survive enormous amount of damage (and do not die from pain shock or smth)
And environment in this animation is so gritty, it makes gore and violence look really disgusting, that is pretty rare for madness combat. The vibe of this animation reminds me of Manhunt sometimes.
And even if it's realistic this animation, it fits perfectly the Madness Combat vibes.
I'm pretty sure that any Madness Combat animation that has unnecessary massacre, not needed deaths and violence to create MORE violence has Madness Combat vibes @@Sumario_23

3:59
I don’t know why, but this part is so interesting to me.
18:18
I’m not too sure about this part, but I interpret it as him feeling like he’s at the center of the world, possibly due to the effects of the drugs. The finger always points to where he is, and his exaggerated movements make it seem like he’s putting on a performance.
19:24
At this point, I think he feels invisible, throwing his self-preservation completely out the window, expecting everything to go exactly as he wants (and it kinda does).
Also, Solarflare started the robbery and ended it too.
don't forget the subtlety of "joker's trap" reference as well as others i likely didn't notice
@@impostrousI'm a bit confused as to what you mean by "jokers trap". I tried looking it up but only found an escape room and batman stuff. Would you please elaborate? thanks!

@@redblue5140 That is not the collector, you can see he is still alive in the credits.

Now that you say that I see that scene totally differently. im in love with your sociopathic attention to gory details like the sustained brain damage and the humanly anatomy, absolutely bravo
It’s all blue’s fault and he brought on the consequences to the entire group and screwed everything up.
10:21 the way the camera is angled and how this scene is animated reminds me of a mobile game i used to play

Marcelo either died in the end from a overdose because he took the whole pixie stick while others just cut a little. Or he did get hit by Abraham and he didnt realize cause he was drugged outta his mind.
Judging from the post credits scene,it looks like he was shot in the head
Ok, honestly. You did *A M A Z I N G* on the smoking. The way the ashes get flicked, the smoke, I loved it. Best madness movie *EVER*
how finely the work has been done.. there are such subtleties as:
1. The character, after the appearance of the enemy and his subsequent shots in his direction, encourages the enemy to randomly shoot out of fright.
2. Experiencing injury while holding a weapon in his hands, thus the character provokes an accidental pull of the trigger followed by a shot.
3. After death, the corpses twitch, which indicates muscle contraction as in real life
4. After being wounded in a sore spot, the character does not continue to fight, but begins to writhe in agony. (it looks very natural)
5. Characters, like people, experience emotions, and they do the same after the death of their colleague. The partner who killed him was tormented by conscience, accompanied by a finger pointing at him. which shows the main plot very well and is very suitable for the entourage
6. I also want to note that after the shock grenade hit the opponents, they tried to either protect their eyes, or, those who did not have time, experienced severe blindness as well as deafness. Which greatly affected their tactics
Thanks to the author for his very well done work!

It explains the story without using uttering not seeing I could immediately understand by just they're movements this is infact a masterpiece
Bueno hasta la muerte de mikahil por manos de marcelo
thats what i thought aswell
11:16 this death in particular shows how much attention to detail the author has when it comes to animating combat, even when it comes to the more mundane kills compared to the absolute gorefest of this animation
The guy takes a headshot and all his muscles tense up for a second before going limp and releases his final breath.

The whole thing feels like a love letter to liveleak, especially the noises are realistically gruesome

I loved the part where the hand just kept following and pointing at him because he knows he couldve help but decided to run away and it shows how guilty he his at not helping even tho he had the chance but left them for dead and him looking at the hand just proves it even more and how he just cowards out of things and just keeping the money to himself

Man, this is beyond great!
I love the tension of specific parts as the "slithering" scene or the 2 final ones, setting the protagonists as vulnerable against regular enemies and need to cooperate with each other to survive is what i thinks makes everything tie together and bring these moments.
