And it's great when the interviewer isn't interrupting, glorifying, or afraid of saying "I remember when you released X and I didn't like it very much" as they might surprise you with some reflection on something that was going on at the time in their personal lives, etc. Thanks!

JDawg killin' it, dude thanks for this, one of your best interviews hands down , another Metal history lesson with the Dawg and Attila, I love it, HAILS! \m/
This ties with Corpsegrinder as your best interview. I really didn't see much interview's with Attila, shame since he is such a interesting person to have a conversation with. P.S. For those who are calling the man out for orange shirt and a haircut. If you are Attila Csihar you can look like that and still fit the bill Brah-Brah.
Attila is so cool, haha. I saw Tormentor here in Denmark a few years back, they got back together and played a small, local festival. Greatest experience at a concert I ever had.
I have loved Denmark since childhood, never been there, I adore Undergang and I think that the country includes some avant-garde achievements. I'm from Russia.
Killer interview brah, loved hearing him talk about tormentor, seventh day of doom is my favorite demo of all time. The fact that it was recorded in a literal bomb shelter makes it even cooler in a way lol 🤘
I adore Wolf’s Lair Abbyss. It’s the next Deathcrush to me. A musical masterpiece. Got Ordo, Esotheric and Daemon, but never really could get into or understand the songs, and live it’s too complex or not really moshable. It has to have that punk vibe for me. Still i like the albums, don’t get me wrong, really enjoyable to listen to.
Good interview Justin! We came down to Cleveland for that infamous MAYHEM cancellation. NUNSLAUGHTER and EXHUMED were nice enough to put on a free show at some deserted and run down theatre. Bought a fuck ton of merch from Extremities (B. Baxter). Very cool memory.
Attila's voice on DMDS is the closest approximation of how a corpse half turned to dust might sound. Chest caved in, vocal chords all but gone, wind wheezing through multiple gaping cavities.
Whoooaaaa whoooooaaaa! _"Multiple_ _gaping_ _cavities"_ careful there Jeff, careful. You may not know it, but The Dawghouse is still something of a "family-oriented" channel bruh, so lets try to keep it clean buddy.😆👍🏻
His voice sounds like what I would think an ancient Necromancer that can summon any creature from the depths of the abyss sounds like. Seeing him live in the robes just makes it even more of a reality. Honestly the most unique vocals in Black Metal. Reasons Mayhem is my favorite BM band.
Got another order from HH in, got some Noxis, Cavern Womb, Hemdale double disc, J-Dawg even through in some cool stuff. J, the wife and I are coming to see the show in June.
Hearing his take on Grand Declaration of War made me think about how much Attila is an experimental artist. I can't think of any other musician in the underground that's experimented as much as he has while keeping that primitive metal cred.
Man after finishing the interview I would of been gutted to be in the dark for so long about the Euronymous situation and then finding out the way Attila did. As much as I respect Varg and his music wish things went a different way between him and Euronymous. I did feel his spirit when I saw them live same with Dead. They dropped banners with them on it when they played Freezing Moon and the chills I got man was crazy and Attila is right about that spiritual feeling and I definitely felt it.
I thought he had a pair of sunglasses pushed back behind his head,I wear mine like that sometimes, guess I gotta get my eyes checked they're pretty fukn bad.
Attila Escobar. Top shelf keys of powder sold with a guttural scream. He should wear those stupid labret curved spikes that David Draiman wears to match his coiff
Grand declaration of war, 666 International, Prometheus - The Discipline of Fire and Demise, Thorns, Ravishing Grimness, Perdition City, Discipline, Rebel Extravaganza, Hliðskjálf. This are the least understood, ahead of their time albums from ''pioneers'' of BM. Most people can't understand the complexity of this albums. Those artists ware technically in their peaks in 99/2000 and they musically evolved to more adult and philosophical serious themes and projects. Nietzsche is all over this albums and onwards, specially on Grand declaration of war. I think it is Mayhem's best work after Euro's death. After Blasphemer's departure, band doesn't have that juice anymore. But still good.

Talking to him was awesome and though the whole time on the inside I was star-struck with a legend of my favorite band, it was still a memory that I cherish a lot as a black metal fan regardless.
Tormentor rules. Attila is kinda like a Cuban coke dealer/Dracula hybrid. Great interview!

The Dawg's giving us some legendary interviews this week. Elisabeth Bathory I think is my favorite Tormentor song!
Definitely some great ones this week.
He’s been on a roll! Molder/melting rot isn’t legendary status, but I really like those bands as well.
He actually says "Hungarrry" in real life the way he does in that song \m/
Tormentor was incredibly good. Early Root was pretty good too.
