Just finding this video now. Me and my good pal were doing a trip into Noganosh and we encountered you and your group on that site, must have been morning on your Day 2. I do remember you expressing your enjoyment during that trip! I really enjoy seeing videos of other people loving and camping in that area of the province!
Bannock mix, mixed a bit thicker than for the bread type, makes an excellent pizza dough. We use it to make our pizzas on a reflector (not Kidd's, my own contraption of tin foil and oven liners). It cooks well in about 15 to 20 minutes depending how hot the fire is.
What a nice snake! Been a while since I've seen such a great fish. This video had almost all of my favourite things...the outdoor adventures, antique autos, beers with buds. Only missing a big sailboat and bikini girls!🤣
@@CanoehoundAdventures I haven't been out since my last video. Sort of got more serious about my at home business. But...if I make a plan I can sort of decide my own schedule. I can just about manage it any time. So you tell me, and I'll follow along. You're actually close to me than some of my friends in the states.
Ahh you know Clarkie do ya... great guy. From what I have heard and understand you can harvest chaga at any time as long as you do not go into the tree... always leave the base of the chaga
That looked like a great trip with your buddies. Nice to see the reflector stove in action and it worked great by the look of that pizza. Wonderful rainbow scene.....Take care, Bluefin.
Thanks for the video. I referred to it to get a sense of what things looked like before my first solo canoe trip, and when I went last week I saw your bow saw :)
Oh man that was a giant pike!!! Wow! Such pretty colors. We are over in BC. Big snowstorm headed to the homestead this weekend. Was fun to see your neck of the woods in this video. Gorgeous. -Erinn
Man those beavers work fast. The weekend we went there this summer we experienced serious rain and the dam was blown well clear of that area. I only wish I had the camera out as we passed through. We still managed a good video for my channel though.
That pike was a gator, great catch. Awesome shot of the rainbow as well and you sure picked a great camp site. Noganosh is an area I have to visit next season.
Ahhh finally Britt and I found a morning to kick back and enjoy this! Fantastic outing Dennis 🏕🛶 With a very nice Northern you rounded up too 🐊 Thank you for sharing! 🍻

@@CanoehoundAdventures was great. Got that same site. Did you guys craft that bow saw? Was super well done for a bushcraft saw.
Beautiful Dennis!
Thank you Bettina...

Thought I recognized that newbie. Great trip but I thought you were only supposed to collect Chaga in the winter after trees were dormant.
Ahh you know Clarkie do ya... great guy.

Thanks for watching Dave. They call them busy beavers for a reason...lol... going over to check out your channel
@@CanoehoundAdventures thank you sir. I would love some constructive criticism 😀.
I believe that there is a portage around the beaver dam? I would rather not drag my canoe over the dam LOL
all depends on the wtaer levels. someone has recently told me the beaver dam is no longer there and the water around it is very low.
What a great trip! Gotta Love the Chaga!
You got that right! I have been doing pretty good in the Chaga department of late. I have enough to get me through the winter.
is this a first come first serve park, are there fees or is it basically like crown land? looks like a beautiful area
Noganosh Lake Provincial Park is a non operational Provincial Park... no fees and no reservations required.. so far.
Thanks for watching
