Why on earth are they acting like private security for the hotel, why are they asking you to destroy your property (delete your footage) instead of telling the hotel "he has the right to film, if you continue to interfere with him we might have to take action" ?

As always happy to do anything but real police work like visiting people whose homes have been burgled or assault victims or scam victims or even keeping an eye on known child molesters, sex pests, suspected drug dealers and organised crime figures. None of that is as important as bothering people with cameras in public, and all this after being told by their superiors that recording is not a justification for questioning anyone.
