That male office was a disgrace. Before even hardly investigating he was bringing up a public order offence against you. Then he changed it to racism? The officer was very passive aggressive. He took one look at you and made his own decision on the basis of what one person had said was true. Terrible abusive policing.

Yet you can't get the police to show up for burglary, beating in the street in the day, vehicle brake ins and theft est est. Evey crime has sky rocketed. Even the most horrific crimes. Even with in the police. People are being murder almost daily in the capital. And the show up for a man filming an empty hotel and asking questions. At no point has some said on the call "its legal to film in public and no law has been broken" Make that make sense.

Police dispatch should already know that PINAC and should tell the caller that if he is recording you from the public. Then there is no need for police. But cops should already know this when they come out. Using other alleged crimes to make you do what they want makes them the ignorant pig they are. And they should be made to answer this in a court of law. But we all know that they never have to answer for their crimes.

I would've gone in front of the hotel again and started recording again, just to show that I hadn't been told to clear off by the cops.

The caller was of the preffered type that the government grants VIP status to over the homeland population. The male cop was probably washing the callers feet during the wait.

section 4a requires both intent and affirmative action, neither was present or inferred.
By their own admittance, the call was for "someone filming", which does not infer section 4a in any way.
I am sure we all have a public interest in why they thought Code 1 was justified and the subsequent risk to the public in their blue-light action.

Youre either detained or your not. The cops have to specifically say the word. Otherwise youre free to move about when not detained. What this auditor did was walk up the curtilage to the front door, which is perfectly legally. But he shoulda knocked instead of pulling the door open. That was his only mistake.

you need to improve your knowledge of the law to be quickly able to counter the police's threats and also you should never have an officer ask you to delete footage since the constable has accused you of a potential crime.... that should have been your answer to them - especially when she said "he said you said a few things".

The first police person shows he does not understand the public order regulations the female police person asking you to delete footage sinks. Asking someone are you a migrate in a conversation is not against the law. Everyone family ancestors in England where migrants some time in the past. Would say you where not very clever opening a shut door could of got you into serious trouble.

Little girl in uniform gets prompted by her dad, then repeats it. 🤣🤣
A new twist to the old racist chestnut, - lying about calling him a migrant knowing the stasi will act. 😭😭

Why do the police - 100% of the time - side with the company / hotel / corporation (etc) and against the public ? Why on earth are they acting like private security for the hotel, why are they asking you to destroy your property (delete your footage) instead of telling the hotel "he has the right to film, if you continue to interfere with him we might have to take action" ?

As always happy to do anything but real police work like visiting people whose homes have been burgled or assault victims or scam victims or even keeping an eye on known child molesters, sex pests, suspected drug dealers and organised crime figures. None of that is as important as bothering people with cameras in public, and all this after being told by their superiors that recording is not a justification for questioning anyone.
