This Vray Tutorial in 3Ds Max is designed to quickly get you up to speed with Vray. Im not sure, maybe it's just me, but I don't have the option to choose anything Vray in the right-click context menu. Im using VR5.2. The workaround for it is to just click the "Last VFB" button on the VR toolbar.
It took all but two minutes to get a very nice look, not that quick in other programs.

For the real beginners like myself it would be useful if your tutorial would start at the very beginning. What is V-Ray? Do I need to download it? Where? How do I install it? etc.

How to avoid grass texture reflection in the wall. Rendering scene in 3dsmax.
Amazing WORK!!!!! How do you avoid Flickering in Vray Animations... IR + LC, BF + LC or BF + BF? I started using Vray IR + IC and saved the light data for the animation... that worked but then I used Vray Fur and had crazy flickering.... the only thing that fixed it was BF + BF but then my animation was 5 x Longer!!! any help appreciated :))
I only ever use brute force + light cache. I know IR is faster but not worth troubleshooting flicker for me.

Thanks, but how the hell do you create a torus perfectly centered at the beginning? What shortcut do you use to snap it in an instant to grid Z axis?

Oh yeah the progressive renderer of Vray GPU works in a similar way to VRAY CPU but since you asked I’ll make a quick tut on my 2nd channel

I just started my 30 day trial for Vray 3Ds Max... following along with your tutorial but when I open Vray VFB, nothing happens when I click on the Kettle with the green arrow (Start Interactive Rendering). Any idea what I'm missing?
Is there a light in your scene?
@@RedefineFX it was as simple as double clicking on it. Everything else I would click on would register with a single click, it wasn't until I put on headphones and watched it over that I heard you double click on the kettle. On a separate note, once I enable the vray vfb, the program freezes and then crashes out / closes completely.
Your videos are all distorted ? how can we see them ...???
