I loved how the KC offense wore down the defense on that last drive as you pointed out. Defenders were just bouncing off of Kelce near the goal line and it took 4 or 5 to bring him down. And that set it up for the touchdown. GO CHIEFS REPEAT for a THREEPEAT!!!

@@Cablev94 Well, Rice is 13 yards down the field. That's 8 yards past scrimmage and 15 on the ground. Mahomes has 2 unobstructed 49ers within two yards on release. A third 49ers has his hands directly in the path of the throw before he trips. That means 100% of the things in the first half of your comment are incorrect. That's actually fine though. Since no one said it's a difficult throw that only Mahomes can make, you're arguing with yourself. The details are none of my business.

Hey Coach, well done. Good verbiage for us of an older school of football vernacular. The 'keep-away' of the Chiefs offense must drive the Bully-ball teams nuttier than hell. Pat is in his own class, but with Andy and his WHITEBOARD war-room brainstormers, it makes this era of Chiefdom fun for the very least of us, as it does for the team! Some analysts just 'talk it'.....but don't show it....would love to see this final 8-play series again....set up the calll...then run it slo-mo.....this helps us see who's getting beat on defense, and why. @@ckmoore101 There's always someone open. The 49ers QB missed a few potential game winners, himself, because the pressure got to him. QB's don't have 8 tentacles. No one can see everything, all at once, nor can they be 100% accurate. But the QB for the Chiefs is the closest thing you will get to that. Look, hindsight is always 20/20. Coulda' woulda' shoulda' doesn't mean anything for either team. The team that overcomes their mistakes best, and scores more, are the winners, and quite deservedly so.

the NFL had a vendetta against the 49ers over one of their players Colin Kaepernick getting unwanted attention brought to the league that cost the NFL over billions of dollars and boycotted by thousands of used to be fans. No way in hell the 49ers was going to win this SB, and won't win another SB UNTIL the league forgives the niners.

@@TheCoachPlays I think he's great. Also, I'm sorry for the crude last line. I almost never go there. It's just that I've watched about 10 breakdowns of the final drive and none of them address the Rice play. Which was controversial at the time. So' it's not like people didn't notice. Yet TH-camrs seem to want it sunk down the memory hole. Like it's turned in to the elephant in the room.
Now that we're on the subject. Could you do a video on it? You don't have to trash Mahomes. Just offer a fair analysis. I think the guy made a mistake. Could have been a touchdown. Instead they gambled with overtime. I'm genuinely curious what a football analyst has to say about it. Can't find any. You'd be the only guy on TH-cam breaking it down. Maybe will help get some extra views. Take care.

@@Frip36you didn’t actually watch the play did you? Patrick even said it himself. The center rolled him the ball. The fact he even fielded it (background as a shortstop helped) and got a throw off was incredible. In the huddle it was clear he was going to Kelce, however, if the snap was good I think Mahomes would have found Rice.

@lva7563 Your comment is a master class of denial. Only desiring to see white lace and feathers when it comes to your heroes. Snap was not rolled. Snap was low. He was not pressured by the rush either. Had time to scan field quickly. Threw ball in the dirt. Was on autopilot since the huddle break. Risk averse. Only wanted a field goal. Put team in danger of losing 50/50 chance overtime. Rice was right in front of him. So obvious that Johnny Thunders wrote a song about Mahomes' feelings for Kelce. "One Track Mind."
