This was nothing short of spectacular....WOW. I'm 100% sold for when it comes time to refinish our garage floor. I'm hoping you guys have a solution for pool decks (concrete), as well.
Love the videos I have seen, this faux wood looks great, looks like a great idea for my house that needs re-tiling. Would prefer it being done dark brown and in larger sizes
I would love to learn more about the process of how to do that. Here getting ready to retire from Boeing and looking at doing something I would enjoy and this looks like s skill that I can use and take anywhere I go and do for people up here in the Northwest. love the outcome and the way it looks.
Wow what an amazing video. I love it so much. I wish you didn't had to speed the video because I love watching every thing. I don't like missing something. Now I was trying to figured out how you saw the tape and how it's going to come out. Anyway you are awesome. I can't wait to get my sample kit that I order. I still didn't get any message back on my email. Oh yeah I wish you would tell us step by step on how to do this because I was OMG what too use next and what to do.
I've got a 50x80 warehouse I'm looking to turn into a music venue/lounge and I know for sure I want to have at least part of the flooring done just like this 🤘
We have several videos showing how to install this system but if you want to see the products, check this out! 👉leggari.com/order-flooring/#hardwood-overlay-kits
Hello! Grout width/tape width is up to personal preference. This tape is 6mm wide. Check out our tape size options here! 👉 leggari.com/product/filament-tape-grout-tape/
I really love leggari videos. Your Products are amazing, though haven't ordered anything yet but I will. I wish you would put up more graphics step-by-step information. Ie, primer , let dry, sand, primer again. The over voice overs are good but it's almost impossible to get everything. What would you recommend as a better way for me to understand because I'm prepared to do this in my entire house.
All of our videos have very long step by step tutorials that go with each system we sell. Although these videos aren’t on TH-cam we make sure you have them before starting a project.
I noticed that you filled the expansion gaps. Will this crack again in Northern climates? Can this be done on an aged concrete floor with a lot of exposed aggregate and/or cracks from settling. Garage floor is probably 50 years old.
I put epoxy down on my 70 yr old basement concrete. If the cracks are thin, you may want to think about using a diamond blade to make them a bit wider (about the width of an expansion gap) so the epoxy has more surface in the crack to cling to. It should not affect the expansion gaps.
I’m very interested in doing this to my garage as I am moving into a new home. I saw that it said the grout lines would be the color of the concrete. Does that mean your initial texture coat would not be in the kit I buy?
With the wood grain technique is it rough to walk on barefoot or does the floor grinder smooth it out then. I am looking at doing this on my covered patio for sure when I move, and I really like it in that garage setting too. I assume you added the grit into the top coat as well? Thx!
I have been subscribed to your channel for well over a year now, I watched them all, And I have also been showing them to my friends and family!! I want to use your product to put flooring down in my living Room, which used to be a carport, attached to another room when you walked in, but I've torn down temporary walls and opened it up into a 20'x 20' great room. The only problem is that there is a crack all the way across the room where the two different concrete pours for each room do not exactly match up, with one being ever so slightly higher than the other. So, I have to fill in the crack and sand it down where it is at least semi level, until I get the exposure pouted, to help level it out. I will be using Earth tone colors with a oak colored base. Then some Gray and a lighter tan color and maybe just hints of black and maybe white? Because, I know that a poxy levels itself outhow do you suggest I fill in that crack and make it level without it being too difficult? I am 60 years old and disabled. I also have no help! I have been watching your channel long enough to know that you've got a crack filler that you can use, and sand it down. That should be enough, right? And, does that dry hard light concrete to make it difficult to sand? Also, how can I determine how much it would cost me in materials for that Room, Because I am on a fixed income, and I lose half of that income in 4 short years? I'm also going to use it on my bathroom and laundry room counter tops with the marbled look. The counter's or not that big Commerce so it should not cost me too much to cover those.
I am a diy chick that will be building my own home in the near future would love to do these myself but I see so many hands on deck and that is honestly scary ….question do you guys travel out of country and do these works for customers? Like down island St Maarten ?
You people never answer questions! The 2 coats of white you put on, was that a paint or a solid stain? I wish you explain exactly what your doing and what products are in the video.
I presume you guys do a moisture test, right. I could definitely see subterranean moisture causing this product to bubble as it does not allow moisture vapor to escape.
If you're considering this as a DIY, don't, just don't. This is NOT a DIY if you're expecting great results. You should be experiences with concrete overlays to do this. I learned this the hard way. In short, note how none of the videos discuss basic "how-to" elements such as dry times. If they don't cover things such as dry time, what else are they failing to cover? And no, there are no instructions that come with the supplies they send. I learned a ton about concrete overlays while doing this to my garage, and if I could do it over again I would 100% not use overlay.
This process has been simplified since this was filmed (about a year ago). Our Hardwood Kits in our sit are one coat, eliminating the first three steps of this video.

Great looking product but, I'm going to be critical for a moment. The grout line that goes up the side of the step looks bad. I would never have installed a real tile like that. I think a grout line along the top of the riser and sides of the step would have been a better look. Leave the whole tread without grout lines. It would give the step more of a tradtional tile "built" look. Of course, this is just my opinion. Great product guys.
can you narrate your videos better, as in, explaining what you're doing as you do it. No idea what these liquids and steps you are taking are or are for.
Damn, dude. I watched it and understood it very well. Maybe, you are not of any construction trades. Either way, a homeowner likely won't care about details and those interested in the details understood it just fine.
It looks amazing! For all the critics out there, you get what you pay for.
Excellent work
Great works
Thanks!
How does the tape leave such crisp lines without the product chipping off as the tape is being removed?
I was wondering the same thing

Once the seal is applied. Is it slippery? And how long does last?
No, there’s plenty of texture on that floor, that the sealer won’t diminish the traction qualities of the floor.
Easily 10k job. Looks freakin fantastic 👌
BEautiful floors they turned out to be .

I have this kit for 1500 sq ft being delivered as we speak to Boston - any idea how long the pool float and how long the squeegee are ?
Can this be done over radiant heating
Yes it can good question!

How does this compare to epoxy?
Have a basement concrete floor I'd love this on, would hate water to damage it.
Very very durable and handles water great paired with our sealer or urethane top coat!
CAN THIS BE DONE ON DRYWALLS?
Where did you get that garage door? I want it!!!!

What type of filter do you use in the vacuum so you’re not changing it or cleaning it out every five minutes up after grinding
We use a filter and a bag together. Vacuum bags work amazing when combined with the cheesy filters. Thanks

Looks great but all those line will fill up with dirt and stuff and be a nightmare in a few yrs. If it could all be level then it would be a ten
So about halfway into the video im like dang this is allot to lay some planks down..... then it dawned on me its no faux wood its faux planks lol....🤯
I think using thinner tape would give it a better effect of looking like actual wood planks.
Totally agree! The Hardwood Kits in our website come with two thinner tape options than this.
You guys did good but the wood should be designed so it stacks and the lines match up every other piece
Shit is ridiculous! Can’t wait to do my kitchen.

Problem with finishes like this is durability. They don't have it. Basically a coat of paint over aging concrete.
It's sexy and you know it!
I guess I'm just not seeing the aesthetic ROI for the labor intensity...but that's just me.
