Awesome and unexpected video. She should be able to easily find supporting mods for Rafiki in SA. This reminds me of a story my dad told me. He had a guesthouse in Paternoster many year ago. At one point there was a European family that came there with their LHD GQ Nissan patrol (4.2 inline 6 petrol). They travelled all through Africa and they even had 2 children with them that were very young. The most important question they had was if they could use the washing machine for their clothes and bedding. European overlanders do kit their vehicles very differently and in many cases more affordably. I was in Paris in 2018 and saw a 100 series Land Cruiser parked in the street and it had a Howling Moon rooftop tent on it. I even took a picture. (Very unusual especially in the city there).
She is already in Botswana, follow her on her socials, such a great story to follow! It is fascinating to hear how different it is in Europe and around the world for that matter.
Beautiful video Dude! And she spoke so well. Loved her intro to her life. As a dreamer of a similar life one day it would be great to know some of the hard hitting questions like “how do you pay for the pleasure?”
She spoke really well, she is such an awesome women! We had the same question. She would be able to answer better, but from what she told us. She worked hard for many many years and saved every cent in order for her to live her dream today.
Such an awesome video Dieter and obviously that amazing human Charline!!!! She really is a character that fell into all our hearts!!!! Great job man...
And here I go…I cried again watching it. Thanks man. It’s an amazing gift 🙏🏾
Ahh sweet! We miss you here in Cape Town already and we are very jealous of your journey! Hopefully we will meet-up again someday somewhere in Africa!
