We never thought we would get robbed in South Africa. This was something we never wanted to happen, but the way we got robbed was a little strange. This happened in the Cape of Good Hope in the Western Cape of South Africa.
We started in Simons town where we explored the town and also went to Boulders Beach, where we actually got to see thousands of Penguins. Such a cool experience. Thereafter, we went to Cape of Good Hope, and this is where we got mugged.

As a tourist, who is currently in SA, I came on YT to get some sightseeing tips. Your title is incredibly insensitive and insulting. The very fact that you could think of it AND then still post it, speak more of your characters than any content you produce.
If you can, travel and learn for yourself people.

Having lived in Simon's Town for many years I thought the pics were great, but the inane & misinformed commentary was pathetic
That cannon could shoot halfway to Gordons Bay. And at the other side, close to the Steenbras river mouth, their was another battery. I think none of these cannons sank any ships, as none made it into the bay during wartime.
One would almost expect them to know this information and explain it in the video

Got robbed twice in Pretoria, once while 19 cops nearby paid no attention, in 1992. Before 🇿🇦. Were they in on the deal? Got robbed in Matroosfontein by a very nervous gunman. Where I live in Cape Town, we go to swim even after 9pm and walk outside even during loadshedding BUT my wife was robbed of our 6 day old superzoom Canon in Cape Town CBD. I am disabled and could never replace it. 😡😡😡😡😡

My son once was confronted by a huge male baboon in his house in the South Peninsula. He had to protect his three huge dogs, as a baboon loves to rip out the intestine. Baboons here are over protected and have no natural enemies. Time to reintroduce leopards and a few pythons.

My friend was mugged in New York in a restaurant, another colleague in Barcelona and another friend in Majorca. .....just to name a few, as this can happen anywhere in the world. You just have to be vigilant, wherever you go.

I know this is old but please get your facts correct . The term Cape of Good Hope is what the Cape was called and you went to Cape Point and the signs tell you the area not a spot . By saying you were mugged gives Cape Town a bad name .

Well, the fact is that South Africa is a very dangerous place for tourists to be. The most beautifull country but very sadly screwed up by the ANC govt in SA. If a tourist company portray SA as a safe country they have no conscience. In many instances the public do not even contact the police because of their poor response and incompetence. In the Eastern Province alone in the last financial were sued for R 7 BILLION . SOUTH AFRICA ARE CURRENTLY THE 5TH DANGEROUS COUNTRY IN THE ( INTERNATIONAL CRIME INDEX) Stear clear of SA unless you have bodyguards. SA use to have a worldclass police force UNTIL THE ANC TOOK OVER.

Wait till you meet the robbers at Vic falls. I got mugged twice first at Cape point that bugger almost broke my camera and took my NikNaks and then earlier this year again in Mosi a tunya Zambia and that one took my wine gums. But i caught him on camera and the case is still being investigated😂.
