This was fun to watch! Especially that high tenor singer, Johnny Parrack! Watching Jim Hamill reach over, and patting Eldridge Fox's stomach, only to have Eldridge playfully swat Jim's hand away like that, was a little distracting, but still fun to watch, too! They didn't call The Kingsmen Quartet "The Ton of Fun for nothing! They had plenty of good times onstage!
I grew up with these songs. I was born in 80 but this is the music my parents listened to. Makes me so nostalgic for my child hood. My dad was an evangelist. and then a pastor. I spent my life in churches!!

Wow, Johnny really was an amazing tenor - it's easy to see where Jay got his talents from. Dean, thanks for sharing this.
cheers
Thanks Dean for posting this, was this from one of the Gospel Jubillee programs/
Ray Reese: on the road longer than asphalt
I think the "Asphalt" won our, though. He's in his middle 80s now, and he just trained a new Bass Singer to take his place at the Bass Slot.
I didn't even recognize Ray Dean. How old is this!!!
Approaching 45-50 years. Early to mid 70s
Yes I would rather be an old fashioned Holy Ghost filled Christian than anything I know!
John Ouma AMEN
I just noticed this was the same as the Gospel Singing Jubilee.
What year was this?
1973 or thereabouts
Wow! that was an A flat over high C... in his natural voice. Not falsetto.
Actually definitely was falsetto. Nobody hits that in a full voice. Not even a woman
how not like
