Hey everyone, thanks so much for the kind words! We're really proud of Jet Lancer and we put our all into the soundtrack so it's great to hear how much everyone is enjoying it. If you'd like to show your support, the easiest thing you can do is follow us on Spotify and save the ost. It's a small thing but it really helps us out in the long run. Thanks again for the continued support! open.spotify.com/artist/1oLOrI9FaaYi21btNAHuWH?si=iqw_rLYrRJ-w6VHC-S2w5g
@@weiss4855 Can't speak to a steam download atm but you can download it on Bandcamp right now! Thanks so much. fatbard.bandcamp.com/album/jet-lancer-original-game-soundtrack
you all probably dont care but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Santana Mordechai i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I am just absolutely in love with this game, its art, its sound, and especially its music. Music lifts up gameplay, we all know that. However, the flow and tactile nature of a game also serves to lift up background music. There are several game soundtracks that don't hold up as well when you listen to the song on its own, its repetitious aspects laid bare without gameplay to mask it. Bard, you have created a soundtrack that works as BGM as well as a sit-down-and-listen album. That's... frankly that's just absolutely amazing. It's high energy without droning on, and I can say confidently that I haven't heard music that more confidently and effectively blends the analog texture of guitar with these 8-bit styled synths. You have created something amazing, and I cannot thank you enough for your hard work!
Honestly keep going back to this soundtrack. The game was great, but the soundtrack really carried the theme here. I love how it goes darker and heavier as well bringing these post-metal and core elements to it and the last fight track, my god, just ties everything together so well. It's crazy how much soundtrack means conveing the feelings the game wants you too feel.
The soundtrack made the game for me, absolutely love it. Missile Meet Cockpit is my favourite, really gives me a hype boost on levels with that soundtrack.
I recently checked this game out, and I regret that I didn't did it earlier. Like I heard about it 2 years ago, it was in my wishlist for several years, but damn. I can't really remember when I felt so emotional because of soundtrack. Few songs almost made my cry because of the joy flow. I can't imagine this game without a bangers like these! You're also a sound designer, if im not wrong ? I must say that sound of this game is also great. Every beep of homing rocket flying towards you, every explosion in far away from you, every jet noise. Fantastic! If there will be any sequels or game from same devs - I hope to see you working with them again! No, that sounds bad. Like I only care about these devs, or something... I LOOKING FORWARD TO CHECK ALL OF THE STUFF THAT YOU ARE IN IN THE FUTURE!
This is one of the best game soundtracks I've heard in a very, very long time. The writing chops behind these riffs are absolutely unquestionable. The Thomas Erak, Nick Reinhart, and Eddy Frankel style math shredding, the mathcore/chiptune thing, it really gives off this frenetic 2000s anime vibe that fits the game and its colorful visuals better than anything else possibly could have. Perfection.
This music is so fucken good, and it fits perfectly with the game. I just barely started playing it and i'm enjoying the hell out of it. Music is so important in games and i'm glad you guys did it right and made something that really sticks out.
This soundtrack is just so incredible. So many different songs in it hit _just right_ that it's almost impossible for me to actually decide on a favorite. Glad you guys included the trailer song as well, am a big fan of that track.
Best purchase on my switch. I already loved the gifs I saw a couple years back on steam, then the trailer hit paired with that awesome soundtrack. Couldn't hold myself back.
Finished New Game+ yesterday, and I'm putting all my free time(well, most of it anyway) into grinding Arcade Mode, and the soundtrack just hits perfectly ever time, never repetitive to an excess, always accompanying whatever chaos of bullets, missiles and explosions is going on around on the screen, nice work!
I've been very attuned to Bscotch and the games they've been putting out, especially the music. When I found out you did the soundtrack for this game as well I said out loud "WAIT WHAT?!"

Do you plan to add it to Steam as a DLC/OST purchase? I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is awesome!
One of the best chiptune tracks I've heard in a long time. Keep it up, FatBard!
Love the beats and the soundtrack!
Will play the game someday!
Played it was awesome!

"Contrail Points To Home" gives me a feeling that I can't truly describe. Perhaps it is just nostalgia.
"You Win Some You Nuke Some" has alot more meaning in NG+
best ost i've ever heard in my life
this soundtrack is the absolute best
無料で公開してくれて本当にありがとう!!!
Rockin' OST for a rockin' game! Great work!
Best purchase on my switch. I already loved the gifs I saw a couple years back on steam, then the trailer hit paired with that awesome soundtrack. Couldn't hold myself back.
If there was a fighter jet anime series I would definitely choose track 06 as the first opening song
You guys really nailed it with this one. Excellent work.
This shit fucking slaps hot damn. Good work y'all, and stay safe!

The art and music of Jet Lancer are phenomenal
Exceptional OST.
AWESOME!!!
Was in beta. You do great job on this sound. Last time, around this month i only listening this music!!
good stuff
The Black Knight is the most memorable track by far. Due to contrast, I guess. And the scene on NG+.
Incredible stuff, really hyped on the energy of each track listening to this.
Did you guys have any particular math rock influences while making this?
great music!! I bought soundtrack immediately after hearing. thx 8)
Everybody gangstas until someone tries to mix this with Luftrauser Ost
Awesome soundtrack for an awesome game!
Wish someone would mod this music into Project Wingman... Because this is so fitting when using SP-34R in that game.
The 2 reasons why I'm glad I bought Jet Lancer:
- gameplay
- music
Man, I'm terribly sad to find out clear for take off is such a short Soundtrack
Beautiful
Звучит как небо
sounds like Russian Circles in a videogame i love it
Please release a version of this ost with longer loops, the one on google play is too short IMO 💜
