I bought the 32oz bottle and i love it, the only con I have is that it's like drinking a McDonald's flurry out of a thin straw but for the Filtration it provides its worth it and you get used to it within 3 days. It's a Portable filter! You can't go wrong!
@@Male_Canada cross contamination. Do to notice her fingers touching the straw? Great way to get sick right there. There should be a ring on the straw that pulls it back to limit cross contamination.
can you add the filter to a different water bottle that has the same size straw? This would save me from buying another bottle. Thanks for the great review
Thank you Alexa for the very detailed look at these bottles. I've been thinking of getting their tritan one for my next trip but had some questions, so it was great to see you handling it. My big "HUH?" is why these (and so many other brands) have the place my mouth touches exposed to dirt, etc that might spill on it, not covered by a bottle top of some kind. As you handled it and showed how to remove the straw, I figured out how I could cover it when traveling. Plus your coupon code is a great help! Thanks again :)
Warning, long comment coming lol I used the Clearly Filtered brand for at least three years and have to say that I’m so disappointed in this company. My two most recent filters accumulated mold and mildew, which is scary and dangerous-not to mention defeats the point of using a water filter. After I had a long back-and-forth with the company over email, I've decided to no longer purchase Clearly Filtered products. For those interested, here's how they failed to support a loyal customer: 1. They blamed me for improperly storing my filter. I asked where the instructions state how to care for the filter when not in use. They sent me an FAQ page (on the website!)-which turns out isn't even related to the specific product we were discussing. 2. They continued to gaslight me over email, telling me every bottle comes with product installation instructions. I let them know that their instructions do not cover how to properly and safely care for your filter. 3. They said they'll send me one replacement filter, although two of my filters had mold/mildew-and the support personnel made it sound like they were doing me a huge favor by replacing one. In the end, all I wanted was two things: (1) the replacement of both moldy filters and (2) the team to escalate the issue of not having proper instructions on how to prevent mold/mildew from accumulating to ensure the safety of other customers moving forward. IT'S NOT OK TO GASLIGHT CUSTOMERS. THIS IS A HEALTH ISSUE. YOU SHOULD TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. You should be committed to the health of your customers. It's literally what your products are supposed to do. Do better.
How would you compare this with the Larq filtered water bottle? I like that bottle as it does give you the option to use uv-c as well to kill bacteria/viruses if you are unsure of the water; it can do both just switch the tops.
The Larq serves a totally different purpose. It removes (kills) nothing but waterborne pathogens. So that's mainly bacteria, cysts, and some viruses. It doesn't remove any other water contaminants. So it depends on your water source.
We are doing a big review of water filter pitchers right now, and the Waterdrop Chubby pitcher is among them. We're trying to get this published as fast as possible, but it will likely take a few more weeks.
@@hiddenmarco You are right, it isn't ideal. But it's still better to have just a relatively small plastic straw as compared to an entire bottle made out of plastic.
bought the clearly filtered water bottle after a very short period a very strange taste and smell was coming through the mouth piece don't rate it at all
Thanks for your comment. Did you get in touch with Clearly Filtered about this? Would be helpful to learn what they have to say. Personally, I didn't have issues with this.
2 / 5 review score. You are missing the most important factor. Test the water, dont simply trust the sellers. Get an home chemical test to test the water before and after. Then you get an 5 / 5 rating.
This is a biased review, and not much of a review but regurgitate information given to you. 1, it's required to actually use that filter? Most tap water is safe to drink, so this filter would be meaningless; and if your tap water is not safe to drink. You can install filters to make it safe to drink and that would be a far cost effective and cheaper option; 2, will the captured bacteria in the filter multiply and mutate and making the filter a biohazard? The idea of water filter is noble, but what goes in must comes out, and so this filter is nothing but a bacteria collector. Don't know why you want to drink from a bottle with a bacteria collector inside. Not for me; 3, The BEST? For something to be claimed as the BEST, you literally need to test out every bottle in the market or else the BEST is only an exaggeration of the adjudicative good.
Unless you’re renting a room and you don’t have the capability to put a filter ob my landlords eater faucet. I could use a pitcher but it won’t fit in my section of the fridge. So a water bottle is my best bet. It all depends on someone’s circumstances.
@@piemasta93no water in the world is truly safe to drink. It has what scientists call acceptable leves of toxicity (which is not true).Between pesticides, heavy metals , pharmaceuticals. Thank you for the review and discount! I wish there was a site I can go for 3rd party analysis of the filtered water!
Excellent review. How do you know when the filter is dead / going bad?
odor/taste coming back, or when it gets considerably harder to suck water through the straw, or every 25 gallons or 6 months at the latest
How does one make it stop making a dolphin noise when i drink out of it ?

I have a Seychelle plastic water bottle and it's horrible even know I have one of their water pitchers that is absolutely fantastic

I got my 20 oz bottle October 1st but when I turn upside down with the mouth piece closed it leaks. Is that normal?
Hi Jamie, check if the silicone ring inside the lid is in the right position.
hello, do you know if this filtered bottle also filter nano and microplastic ? thanks !
It's not listed on the contaminant reduction page.
Thank you!
