@@neilshafer7207 any luck?
How do you get there without walking through the woods lol
Unfortunately that is the only way… Tight lines!
When casting, do you ever have any issues with the leader line & bucktail getting all tangled with the float?
When you tie your leader line make sure you pull it to try and get the the memory out of the line, then make sure it’s at that bottom of top loop of the swivel. Then when you tie your main line it’s at the top of the swivel. Sometime it will get tangled but typically it doesn’t, if it get tangled more than a couple times I cut off and retie. Tight lines!
How has bite been past week? I was thinking of going out to Lavon dam for my first time this weekend.
We haven’t been there this week. As long as the are releasing there should be fish there. Tight lines!
Awesome! Where can I find a bobber like that?
A lot of bait shops or “dam” stored sell bobbers like this. Sometimes you gotta find a local that sells them. Tight lines!
Yessir keep slaying boys!!
Bro we gotta go fishing. Appreciate you homie!
Bro we have to!! Let me know
@@WylieBoys for sure bro. I followed you on IG. Let’s plan something
Hell yeah...
🔥
Size of the bucktail
Love the stringer. Where can I get a snap like that?
Bass pro shop has them, they are called Promar Stainless snap. They are like $4. Tight lines!
Do you recommend a medium heavy or heavy action surf rods?
Medium heavy. You can throw heavier bobbers.
Where do you park? Tried to drive in last week, but it was closed.
There’s a couple of spots, I’ll say its by the railroad tracks. You find them you will find the trail. Tight lines!
That's cool. What rod and reel size do you recommend for fishing there?
12’ surf rods with a 4000 series reel. Tight lines!
Is the lavon dam open now?
Currently not releasing. Lake is up 3 foot though so soon.
@@WylieBoys I mean the whole area is closed. Seems that there are some undergoing constructions.
@@wanghaofei6783 correct there a trail that you can take that takes you straight to the dam
@@WylieBoys Thank you, but how do you park if you have no access to the fishing pier parking?
