We use Magellan mag 2 is what it’s called. But really any waders will do. Tight lines!

You can at your own risk or drive down closer to the river. It just depends in the vehicle or ground conditions. Or you can take the hike and park by the railroad. Tight lines!

Whoa, so you are working it with the bobber. May I ask why use the bobber then? Usually bucktails are jigged n what not.
We use the bobber to add more weight to our lures to cast further! Tight lines!
@@WylieBoys why not just get a heavier bucktail? Or are you trying to maintain certain depth using the bobber?
You want the buck tail on top of the water. So lighter the better in this scenario. Tight lines!

When casting, do you ever have any issues with the leader line & bucktail getting all tangled with the float?
When you tie your leader line make sure you pull it to try and get the the memory out of the line, then make sure it’s at that bottom of top loop of the swivel. Then when you tie your main line it’s at the top of the swivel. Sometime it will get tangled but typically it doesn’t, if it get tangled more than a couple times I cut off and retie. Tight lines!

2oz cork. You can find these at mostly “dam” stores or you will have to find a local that sales them
Yeah, I go fishing at waco Spillway. They said the same thing. I wonder which company made them and why they won't they put them for sale online.
@@CyberUnicorns most of them are custom made. I get mine from a local. The dam stores charge double. It’s sad, hopefully you find someone, I’d look on Facebook marketplace and see if some can ship them. Tight lines!

@@WylieBoys well if you look at it the first one had solid lines from tip to tail and its body wasn't 1/3 the height of the length of the fish both are huge indicators of striped bass. just a heads up the look super similar to one another
Its Tawok, if it;s over 18 inches it's a hybrid, regardless of the lateral lines or tooth marks, it test tube fish taste the same.
