Sam is like a petulant child to Lambert, which makes it hilarious to me 😆.... the NPC voice acting adds to it too because Sam is like, being a reckless prick around a bunch of Borats 😆 🤣

Emilios Powerballer Not really. Weapons, especially in the first two games were generally very unreliable because as soon as you shoot, all your consecutive bullets will automatically miss unless you let the reticle return to the center. Basically, automatic fire is completely useless
@@theelegantassassin1174 There was a reason for that, though. The game wanted you to specifically handle your obstacles by sneaking. Lambert literally says in the Training mission that gun should always be your last resort.
Lambert: "Oh my god! I don't think we can talk our way out of this." Fisher: "No one is asking us to talk our way out of anything! That's a politician's job!"

Fun times, I miss the banter between Sam and Lambert in the old games :( Btw, you missed one mission failed message in Chinese Embassy 2, if you kill or KO certain guards before they open keypad-locked doors "You're stuck, mission's over" :P
Oh dammit. I knew I was missing something in Chinese Embassy. I think I did well though getting all these in 2 hours. And I agree, I miss the banter in the old Splinter Cells. Personally I think after Chaos Theory it went down hill from there. Double Agent was alright, but I hate how they went with the ending where you kill Lambert in all the Splinter Cell sequels after that.
I agree, Double Agent (both versions) is the last game I was really invested in, the newer games just aren't the same. Some say Blacklist was a return to form but I don't see it, it's still too fast and arcade-y compared to the slow, methodical stealth of the old ones, plus there's a ton of missing features and they butchered Sam's character.
I agree with the fact that there were missing features in blacklist like interrogating the guards and other stuff plus Fisher's character was just messed up. But the gameplay in blacklist was vastly improved and in a handful of missions it did return to form somewhat. Where the game really shines is giving the players options on how to complete missions. If you want to play fast and go infiltrate an area by "going in noisy" you can do that, want to take your time and stealth your way through a level, go ahead. If you want that slow and methodical style then play the game on perfectionist where you can't mark and execute, thermo goggles can't see through walls, limited ammo, and enemies can kill you fast if your'e spotted.

02:37 More like Lambert would have said "Fat chance in hell, Fisher. Third Echelon will NOT have any Rambo like assaults on the embassy! Get out of there, the mission's over".
I'll make note to attempt to do it. Will be hard though. Pandora Tomorrow is pretty unstable on PC, luckily i have a really old graphics card, so i don't encounter issues most people with modern graphics cards get like flickering textures, broken lighting etc. Will also be a bit difficult since i'm not as familiar with Pandora Tomorrow and am not entirely sure where all the mission fails are. Only beat it twice. It's one of the hardest Splinter Cells out there. But I'll definitely see what I can do and investigate it thoroughly.
4:05 If you knock out all 3 guards without alerting any of them but before the cutscene finishes, the game will act as if they succeeded in destroying the mission-critical PC.

There's a fine line between letting them die and intentionally killing them.

- Shoot the instructor in the retinal scanner room
Police Precinct:
- Kill Gurgenidze in the burning house
- Sound too many alarms
Defense Ministry
- Kill two civillians
- Kill the colonel before using him on the retinal scanner
- Compromise Grinko and Masse's conversation
- Kill Wilkes at the end of the mission
Oil Refinery:
- Touch the water level (without dying)
- Be discovered by the mercenary technician or his escort
- Let the mercenary technician get too far
- Have the technician's briefcase fall in the water
CIA HQ:
- Kill or KO Dougherty before accessing his computer
- Kill Wilkes or Baxter
Kalinatek:
- Kill Wilkes at the beginning
- Enter the keypad code on the 3rd floor before rescuing the two technicians
- Have the bomb explode
- Have Ivan killed
Chinese Embassy:
- Have an enemy run over by the truck
Abattoir:
- Sound too many alarms
Chinese Embassy 2:
- Kill Coen at the beginning
- Kill any of the colonels before they input the keypad codes
- Kill the colonel before using him to unlock the retinal scanner
- Kill Feirong before accessing his computer
Presidential Palace:
- Sound too many alarms
