Heyo! I'm Distro, the dude who ran the game. Thank you for all the love and support! Splinter Cell at a GDQ is a very rare sight so I would like to genuinely thank GDQ for accepting Chaos Theory into the marathon. It was great fun for me and I hope that the run was fun and informative for the people watching. There are so many things happening in a very short time during this speedrun which makes it very difficult to plan the commentary well. Coffee and I tried our best to pass on interesting information in a compact and easily digestible form. Thank you for watching the run! It means a lot to the Splinter Cell speedrun community. If you have any questions about the run (or anything else), feel free to ask! :)
Thanks for the run! It was certainly fun to watch the commentary by Coffee was awesome. Hopefully we get Pandora Tomorrow or Blacklist in a future GDQ :D
Crazy how you explaining all the things you did while opening a door and why, took a whole level! Shows just how mega fast you are! Love how we don't see much out of bounds, teleporting/wrong warping or no clipping, made the run really fun!. All the AI manipulations are awesome! Loved doing stuff like that in splinter cell :D Good effort Coffee! Clearly not comfy with the commentary but you did it anyway all the way through! Great job! :D
This man finally got Splinter Cell into a GDQ; first time a singleplayer Splinter Cell run has gotten into AGDQ 2011, in fact. Crossing my fingers for Pandora Tomorrow!
This games realism is on point Imagine your a security guard working for like 15$ an hour A black ops agent does a gotdamn somersault right by you into the vault, are you gonna try to stop someone so bold? Heck no, your gonna go about your day like it never happened lol
Amon Tobin is ingrained in my brain and Ruthless Reprise seems to have found its way into german television as background music during certain shows which took me completely off guard.
This is one of the best stealth games I've ever played, I bet it still holds up. I certainly hope if Ubi brings back Splinter Cell they'll do it in this mold and not the later more action-oriented installments.
Just wanna say the narration of this game, of which I have had no prior experience or interest in, was clinical in its execution. Made it of great interest to me and I thank you both, coffee and distro, for making run this thoroughly enjoyable. :-)
I just realized, that the character in a speedrun game, is the equivalent of a "Ground Hog Day" character. He's done it thousands of times; so he know if he just runs past all these guys, he will be perfectly fine...
The speedrun is impressive, but I enjoy the SCs much more in ghost mode.... Without alarms, without shooting, you know ;) Anyway, I repeat, impressive, it shows that Distro has given hours to the saga...
AGDQ 2024 is live right now! Tune in to watch at www.twitch.tv/gamesdonequick

Pandora tomorrow was before chaos theory. Chaos is the 3rd splinter cell game. I maintain this is one of the best and most creative games ever made
