I called Rival about the new Mark1 bags and they told me the new bads are now filled with shredded fabrics (leftovers from gloves making process) and have also a foam liner. IMO they should feel similar the the Title one Carlo just reviewed.
Switching to a aqua bag will help with the tendinitis. It helped with mine, combined with 16oz protective(style) bag gloves.

aqua bags just aren't equal to a heavy bag in terms of quality training. wrecking ball or maize style bags move better than an aqua bag. the only thing i've found aqua bags good for is giving your hands a break.
I see that NAZO bag chillin in the background...is that the same brand as the bag maywether uses or different?

It’s the weighted sandbags that make their way to the buttom. I actually have the Everlast 100lb bag you have. I immediately took the filling out, took all the sandbags kinda wrapped the sandbags up like a long hotdog with duck tape. Then I filled the bag at the buttom about a third and position the king hotdog sandbag I taped together in the middle and filled evenly around the sandbag. So it fills awesome. I’ve owned several heavy bags and I normally do this to make the heavy bag more consistent through out.

Be careful when punching this punching bag around the top area. It has 2 hard sandbags near the title logo. It feels like punching a brick wall
say roland i have the title 150 lb bag,is it possible to refill it as you do ? but it dont have a zipper its just laced shut, how would i go about opening it and relacing it shut?

take your time repacking. Make sure all the weight is distributed in the center evenly all the way to the top.

Great review as always Carlo. Do you still work with your Nazo as well. I have the same Nazo bag and feel like it's improving my power, but wow for sure a really dense bag. Just curious if it's a good idea to use both to sustain that power, but also give my joints a breather on a softer bag occasionally. Thanks.
Thanks bro! Yes I still use my Nazo regularly, it just depends on the type of training I’m doing that week or if I’m bored with using a different bag. I like to rotate my bags out so it keeps it interesting

Im a 60 yr old man looking to get a good heavy bag to start some cardio and have a chance to buy a Ringside soft fill 100# leather bag for $149.00 or should I get the soft strike Title bag for less wear and tear on my body.What do you recommend? just got this bag, but one problem it hangs too low, I have it hooked on a wood beam in my basement and since the ceiling is low, using the regular chain carabiner make the top of the bag at my chest level, how can i make it shorter/higher

That’s because I use all my stuff for a bit before I review it. It’s pointless to give a review on a brand new product that I haven’t even used for a few weeks at minimum. Hence why it takes a little bit. 😉

Great review, was looking forward to this one. Did you get the chance to actually weigh the bag on a scale, and does it actually weigh 100 pounds? My heavy bag says 100 pounds and is about 80 pounds on the scale.

@@kylemccarthy02 No. I bought it directly from Title. I wanted a bag that's not going to blow through my gloves, but it's actually not that much softer. Softer but not by much. Plus most hard heavy bags get soft after you punch them enough. The weight will be about 100 pounds. I got on the scale with it, and mine was 97 pounds. I have a regular bag that weighs 105 pounds. So it'll weight around that 100 pound mark.
Anyone have experience with the Title Fiber Flex bag and how it compares to the Soft Strike? Looking to replace an Aqua Bruiser with something that has a little more give.

Anyone remove the stupid patch? Its stitched on, I feel I can easily remove the stitches but dont want to ruin the bag.
yeah. that was the first thing i did after i hung it up. i took a straight razor and "shaved" the stiching on the rubber sign. it worked perfectly and nobody can tell there was ever anything there. if you don't have a straight razor, probably any razor will do. just take shaving swipes at the stitches on the pad, after they're all cut, pull it off and pull out any remaining thread.
