Great video. I've got a Fitven bag and it's been nice so far. A Fight Camp bag would be nice, but at $499 (which wasn't mentioned as a con...), I'll live with the Fitven.
The FightCamp bag isn't $499, the entire set up with the punch trackers is $499. Does the Fitven stay upright when you kick and punch it hard and continuously?
Then if I wanted to buy only the bag how would I be able to do that?
@@JTrell178 you can't, and their reply was elusive, I had to go to the website to check lol, they do 2 packages, 1 which is only trackers at 99 and bag + trackers at 499 so idk what they're talking about he's totally right, the price point is defo a con as most of the competition is significantly below.

The FightCamp bag is incredible and I love using it. I had a Century Bob XL prior to joining, and I have to say it is a little more fun sometimes to have a person's head for landing punches, especially uppercuts. I'd love to see FightCamp make a similar/improved version of it!
Love the feedback! It is so fun to hit the "Bob" mannequin. Only thing is that new people can really hurt themselves on that and also it's not conducive for kicks.

FIRST, as of the end of 2023, I see the Fight Camp bag is listed for only $ 349 for those who are interested. That's quite a price drop. I like the free standing concept so you're not stumbling over a bag stand as you move around. But on many TH-cam videos, the free stranding bags had a plastic center support. It was wide for the bag to move up and down on but it was extremely thin and broke easily. So I was discouraged until I ran across this video. And THANK YOU for taking the time to evaluate bags other than what you're trying to sell. I didn't even know some free standing bags were built on a spring loaded pipe system. I've got a lot to evaluate and think about. I did like the way the Fight Camp bag stood up to the boxer and kick boxer. I can't hit that hard so the bag should be great for me. And now it's only $ 349 and I'm thinking a lot sturdier than a Century Bob.

Invest in a century power line standing bag. It’s less expensive and easy to assemble. I filled mine with water and put it in the corner in my garage. I use it for a good cardio workout.
Fight Camp bag is the only way to go! Looking good!

Can you fully fill it with sand and then fill it with water to the top right after the sand to add more weight???

Just Klarna’d the Decathlon Outshock 100 for $88.19 at Walmart. I live in an apartment, so I’d focus on technique. I’ll hold the base down with extra weights, so that if it doesn’t work out I can gift it to my godson.

Thank you for the review. I am currently looking for a punching for my apartment and I have a couple questions in regards to the fight camp bag.
1: Is the bag a foam bag or an air bag if foam is it a solid piece of is is it hallow.
2: When practicing with knuckles rather than gloves how much resistance can I expect.
3: How well does it stand on carpet?
4: What is the expected life span of the bag?
1. It is foam. There is a plastic core covered with lots of foam.
2. It's a softer than normal bag.
3. It isn't best on carpet. It's best on a rubber mat for the added friction. Carpet makes the mat stick together less easily. This can be solved by placing cardboard or plywood between the mat and the carpet.
4. We've been selling them for 5 years and have ones that we have been using for 5 yrs and they are still good :) BUT they have to be setup properly and secured right otherwise the foam would ride up over time.

@ 9:24 Con: impossible to get the material over the lip to secure the velcro straps. Not sure how this was achieved on the bag in the video.
Thats not true, why do you say that? One thing that does happen though is if it is not secured like that from the start of usage, the material rides up over time and it becomes very difficult. It needs to be set up well from the start.
I’m kinda looking for something that will stay stable when I hit it not a heavy bag that’s kind of like a reflex bag. Any recommendations? Freestanding ?

There are waaaaaayyyyyyyyy better bags to compare like a wave master xxl or adidas xxxl freestanding bag maybe even a rdx xxl free standing bag all are cheaper options and have more similarities. The fight camp bag does look solid though

What about filling it with lead pellets rather than sand. Or layer it and use both.

@@FightCamp lead pellets, lead slightshot ammo. 3/8 inch 1000 balls 25$. Sure lead is heavier than steel. You could try the gun store too. Do layers lead and sand. Should make it nice and heavy.

He didn't mention the cost of the fight camp bag and a con.... That would be a huge con.
So it's basically an advertisment for their product.
Look how hard he kicks the other bags (05:50) compared to how gentle he kicks the FightCamp bag.
It's obvious that he is not trying to take down the FightCamp bag, he is hitting it but not keeping the momemtum to push it down. He also doesn't do any "pushing kick" such as a back kick.

The Everlast bag is too complicated to put together. The original century standing punching bag is the best option for affordability and assembly.

yeah ill be honest I was shocked that the bags you listed first were so much based off how poor they were able to provide a great workout. I feel like you made a good product but then gouged the price of it... I think you would slay the competition if you worked out your competition.
I love the fight camp bag, but I'm having a HUGE issue. I have about 6-7 inches of free space (air) between the polyvinyl and the foam. Basically its been lifting up and I can't find a way to pull it back down to fit snug on the base of the foam. Im 230 lbs and I try pulling as hard as possibile to get the polyvinyl to come back down and it doesn't budge. Ive only been using it daily as a standing back for a month and a half. Punches, kicks, knees, elbows. Haven't been tossing it around at all. This is a big concern because I use it every day and it just keeps lifting up an inch or two by the end of my workout. By this time next week, the polyvinyl will be off and ill be left with just the foam.
What do I do?
Look for a local upholstery guy, the guy i found to do the headliner in my trucks would do just about anything from making custom seats to boat bolsters and pads to a custom cover for a jack knife folding couch for my toyhauler as well as dirtbike seat covers.
Itll probably be a bit pricey, but i guarantee the work done will be better and last longer than the factory finish, youll also be able to choose the material, color, and designs yourself.

So disappointed to get to get to the end and go look up the actual price, $499 and an extra $99 for the Ring at the bottom which seems crazy.
Also, sorta felt like they were pulling punches a bit to avoid high shots in the demo at the end to intentionally not knock it over
wait....I have the fitven...you guys didn't fill it up all the way did you? Watches footage AIN'T NO WAY! The real con to the fitven is the suction cup rings at the botton get damaged over time.
Why all these sand and water filled plastic bases ;( why can’t other companies start making a bag like the Fairtex max bag hb14. All foam and can be used for ground and pound too.
Are they heavy enough to stand up to lots of hard punches and kicks? If they are heavy, I can tell you that the reason we ship the bases empty is because shipping something very heavy become VERY expensive and we don't want to pass that cost onto the customer.

These are not similar to fight club bag. Century Wavemaster XXL is similar. Hmm Fight Club, $599+tax and $150+ tax for gloves and $50+tax for bag ring and $480+tax a year for subscription. Extended warranty $80+tax, Delivery charge $50+tax 🤔😲
3:29 Let me get this straight: You talked about the sucktion cups in the beginning but thought you would just test the bags without using them? Of course they are going to fall over. The sucktion cups are the only reason they don't and that's why they are there, so use them! I get that you wanna promote your own bags but this is ridiculous.
We were using them but they don't stick to the mat. There are many surfaces they don't stick to :(

The Fitven's base was filled with sand. All of the bases were filled with sand so we could have a clear idea of how heavy the bag could be, water isn't as heavy.
