Aside adding a tiny bit more release (a few ms) to your gate to have a bit more spatial fx around the snare, good job 👌
You could try adding a chorus after the reverb on its chain, it helps giving it dimension while ensuring the reverb isn't masking the elements too much.

I'm doing gated reverb on a snare drum. When I get the threshold where I want it, it works, but at the end, there's a crackling sound as if the gate doesn't close off all the way. Any thoughts on how to get a clean cut?
