In this video I put Crystalyx buckets out to my sheep and we move some ewes in preparation for lambing. It's good to be back farming in Ireland again!
Thank you for watching as always, let me know in the comments if you liked the video!

I absolutely love the way you take people to the most remote places to show people how real food is grown.
Thank you! It's nice to share our way of life. 😁
Loved watching you in your home environment! Casey looks like a great dog!
Edit 16:46 glad to see this experience is universal ☠️😂
Hahaha how did I not hear that in the edit 🤣🤣 Cheers for watching Tara, hope you're having fun stateside. 😁
“Throwing apples into an orchard” is hysterical and I’m definitely going to use that saying now 😂
Hahaha they say it around home here 😂😂
Love seeing Ireland again, I missed the mountain. Your videos are really getting better every time.
In love with the geography of Ireland. I'd love to walk through sheep in the mountains. Amazing
Sligo is an awesome county! I'd highly recommend visiting!
It would be looking at sheep on the mountain you would be not walking through them😊 . Horned ewes on the mountain are mental wild
@@sammorton4576 if they run as I walk towards them then I'd consider it a win hahaha
Ireland is the best country in the world. Everybody knows this…
@Gadsden1776 apart from the weather, that's where New Zealand wins. 😂
ur spot mate about pulling and dragging at sheep general farm work im late fifites now god do i feel the aces and pains especially this time off year good to have u home ld
Hi Karol...loving your vlogs,it’s great to see you back home.My cousin is trying to do our family tree, and it appears our family originally came from your part of the world.I remember my grandparents, plus aunts and uncles, ( sadly all passed now )speaking in a lovely Irish accent…talking about Leprechauns, great story tellers, So hearing you talk, and seeing the landscapes, makes me feel closer to them and where they came from, very much appreciated. Sue (Woodhall Spa) x
Great to see there is an organic version of crystalyx - just wish they'd set up manufacturing in Australia too
We may have races on every block but you guys certainly have better stock trailers. Always a good vlog thanks, Karol.
That's true Murray I saw some rough trailers over there, although ye use trucks alot more than we do. Cheers for watching. 😁
Fair play for sticking at the videos regularly and always to a good quality. Great to see the view counts right up there for ya now - onwards and upwards 💪🏻
It's starting to grow but only thanks to generous and supportive viewers like yourself! 😁🔥
I actually thought you were going to take a lick out of that bucket just before you said it. The shearing is interesting for me, seeing the different breeds involved and the competitions with Joanne.. You can get a guard to fix on the tow bar to help keep the vehicle tidy. I was sometimes successful in getting lambs breathing by cleaning off the mucous on the nose and inside the mouth with a paper tissue, and then giving mouth to mouth in an effort to inflate the lungs. Let’s hope our dreary weather changes, but not too much in the other direction.
Great to see you back on the mountain again. Any idea when Joanne will be dropping another video. Great video and sayings. Where did you buy those hurdles you loaded in trailer.
You should get yourself a set of brackets for the ifor Williams to mount brackets on the side of the trailer. Fierce handy
Good to see you back home, we will miss you in Australia, just entering Autumn and its still 30C days in Sydney, looks a bit colder over there
This is the Mrs. I am happy you're back home and I know your dad is too. (What's your dad's name?) Enjoy the landscape footage whenever possible whenever it would work best for you in all that you have to get done. I hope you do invest in some catch pens to make your sheep farming life easier. The wear and tear on the body will catch up with you someday and anything you can do now to ease that should hopefully extend your sheep farming days. Thank you again for all the background to your early life. Maybe your dad has a story to share about when he was a boy? Appreciate all that you do. Thanks.
Cheers Robert, I'll try and get him to chat a bit more. 😁
Great to see you back! 🐨👍
Thanks!
Here, Will from Cowley Hill sent us.
Absolutely
Good to see you back in Sligo. Casey is still hard at work. 😊
Cheers Linda 🥰
Glad to see your back.
Cheers Kathleen 🥰
Didn’t know Crystalyx had an organic version. Lovely to see your Mayo Blackface sheep - hope you get true organic prices for them!
They do surely Pat, cheers! Hopefully they go alright. 😁🔥
The land of rain 👏👏 be a nice change. Can you get hoops for those panels to make a race where ever you go? Simple draft gate on tge end, draft straight into the trailer side door?
Might be able to sort something like that Colin, I'll have a think!
Really enjoyed the video. Loved to get a small glimpse into your production model. I’ve said for awhile now, I was born in the wrong country to raise sheep.
Thanks very much! It's small but it's a good wee country to grow grass
You are so correct Karl the race is your only job as the sheep get used of it its a mighty handy tool and saves the wear and tare on the body be sensible when you are young and invest in a mobile race you will not regret it ask people that have them the will give you an honest assessment of their good and poor qualities
So sorry about the lambs Crowly Farm had a sad start You mite check his channel , I think a test came back conclusive.
Appreciate your talk in the beginning
About your hill sheep and how they servive .
I can see its very very wet . Not helping .
Take care .thankyou for the vidio .
He was telling me Nancy! Unfortunate! Thanks for watching. 😁
Good to be home.

Love Casey we had two boys that just loved their football ❤
Great video again! Also any idea when your sister will start making videos again?
Was is worth money wise to go to Australia?
Hi can you make a lambing assistance video with your veterinary girls assisting lambing?
Wait what... Football??? Thats Soccer silly!! Lol Yea yea i know im just jokin around! But glad your back home!! Ill be completely honest.. The sheering videos were getting kinda boring.. Idk you can only watch so many bc they are always the same thing over and over ya know? Lol I still watched them though!! 😁 Thanks for sharing and cant wait for the next video!! 😊😊
Thanks for the honest feedback, yes I realised that so I'll be doing alot less shearing videos going forward, unless it's something very unique. It's hard to exclude it when i'm a full time shearer but i'll do my best! 😁
Gotta disagree on this one. I really like the shearing ones.
I know you can't please everyone, do your own thing.
Just show what you’re doing and don’t worry about it. Otherwise you’ll doubt yourself and not put videos out and miss out on whatever income you get or could get if you keep growing 🤷♂️ I’m not a TH-camr so no expert 🤣🤷♂️
Cheers for the feedback guys, it's very helpful to know what ye like to watch!
Enjoyed do you get more when selling you're organic lamb's
They should go back to buckets instead of tubs they are easier carry and useful when empty
Not long ago on Cammy Wilson’s Sheep Game channel, his toddler son Jock had a diaper blow out - and they rinsed his bum by putting the whole bottom half into an empty Crystalyx tub full of water 🤣🤣🤣 so there is indeed more than one use for those tubs!
Thanks!
Thank you Michelle! Very kind of you!
Are you feeling the cold? I'm back from West Australia after many years, and I am freezing!!
now bro, tell me your going to start some time managed grazing now to improve your grazing regime. Please tell me you saw that in Oz , its popular there.
I’d say the race would pay for itself but particularly going the whole hog with auto shed/tip them over long term. The 50 sheep could be shed in how many minutes. Probably the same time with setup but one person and no sheep being stopped with knees…
Back from Cowly Hill i see 😂👍🏻 But i started follow you before Cowly. Where is your red mistress? Best regards from Sweden.
She's going lambing in Scotland now for a few weeks, Sweden! I shore sheep in Norway before. Thanks for watching!
Arrr……back home. But there must be a touch of regret that u left the ‘warmth’ of down under. Loved the pic of your parents on mums day……children should always be in the background…….literally.
Cool channel name.
The handbrake on the hilux are a problem
Make sure you buy genuine Toyota cables, the spirius ones are useless
Awkward job to fix as well
Different ground to Australia do you reckon nice to see you back into a jacket
Welcome back you didn’t bring back the good weather from your travels
Like ur videos do you have sheep on benburben lovely part of the world passed it a few times I'm donegal not far from you altogether
Thank God for horn sheep
Are we going to see more of Jaz?
In May, she's gone lambing in Scotland now for a few weeks 😁
