How to Enable PlayStation Buttons/Layout UI Prompts in Wild Hearts (PC/Steam Tutorial)

This is a fix for the consistent issue plaguing Wild Hearts on PC (Steam) where Xbox button prompts are used in-game instead of PS5 buttons.
The steps outllined in the video are as follows:
1. (Optional) Download and install DS4Windows (ds4-windows.co...)
2. Connect DualSense to PC via USB-C (make sure it's not already connected to wireless, it should be a wired connection)
3. (Optional) Configure sound settings of DualSense to enable vibration
4. Disable Steam Input for Wild Hearts in Steam
5. Enter Steam Big Picture Mode and enable Steam Input for PlayStation Controllers under External Gamepad Settings in the Controller section of Big Picture Mode Settings
Ideally there would be a mod to permanently replace the button prompts with PS buttons but until then this will do.
Also DS4Windows is technically optional but it's still useful since it allows for profile customization and the forcing of DualShock 4 emulation.

does it have haptics and triggers features for dualsense on PC?

it’s complicated. the in-game vibrations might not work because the steam version of the game only supports it when steam input is enabled, but you have to disable steam input for this method to work. if you make the controller output sound and connect your headphones to the controller then vibrations will work, otherwise if you want to use speakers or computer audio, you need a program that will combine your computer audio and controller audio output as one repeated audio.

new steam update cant find general controller setting / configuration. can help?

steam (top left) > settings > controller for overall steam settings, they just simplified the menu
you can also access that menu from the wild hearts controller settings page

Is there any solution for wireless mode? This only works with usb cable

yeah wireless doesn't work at all because wild hearts is next gen only and connecting a playstation controller wireless requires steam input, which will always force xbox buttons
only solution for wireless would be a mod to replace the xbox button texture in game
