As a retired aerospace engineer, I was taught that everything is data and that data is everything. That is to say, everything is information and that it informs us who, as self conscious entities, are capable of processing that data and gaining some insight and understanding of how things work. Thus we rise from primitive beings that created crude tools to beings that today possess higher intelligence and create sophisticated tools. Unfortunately, in the process we have also disturbed the balance of nature, releasing forces of destruction, if not extinction. But I digress.

Dead people experience nothing or they should. 10-20 % of patients that are dead, however, experience a consistent set of elements. This should not be happening but it is.

I'm not interesting very much in the idea of bringing humans back to life after they died, this is still in the boundaries of materialism and frankly still very boring and depressing. I only eager to find a final answer to the old question, whether there is after life, or whether the consciousness\soul can survive the death of the physical body in professional terms. I was disappointed to find that the result of the awareness 2 study do not support the existence of immortal soul, because not a single one out of the 28 participants identified the visual stimuli. this is very bad news.
