I am a Michigan man and we hold Bruce and Sam (Raimi) high esteem here. There is a lot of pride, not just because they make cool films that we love, but more so that they do it in an industry full of assholes yet still manage to be unaffected by it all. We love it when they come back into town to visit - keep up the great interviews Michael they are a much needed diversion in all of this madness!

I remember when I first played Spider-man and Spider-man 2 on the PS2, and Bruce would walk you through the tutorial sections. I didn't know who he was at the time, but I was like, this guy's got a cool voice and he's funny. There's a section where he's talking about wall crawling and he says something like, 'If you don't stick to walls then you're just a man, is that what you want to play? "-Man 2?'
I met Bruce once in Jersey about twenty years back at an impromptu Evil Dead showing, and he was the nicest, down to earth guy, I have ever met. We sat and talked for a bit and he shared about why he doesn't like to do autographs (something prominent on his website), so when the conversation paused after the big spiel I asked him to autograph something for my friend standing right behind me, and he smiles his ass off and signed a picture for my friend "To (my friend's name) who doesn't think he's seen anything good today." Bruce is the kind of guy that if you ever have the opportunity to sit down with for any length of time, he's interesting, interested, and he listens. So these assclowns that nitpick him and all, they miss out so hard and that is their punishment. He's easily one of the best people to spend time with and absolutely approachable.

I've listened to all of Bruce Campbell's audio books 3 times already there's something entertaining to just hear him talk about his views and stories he has an energetic presence unlike other actors he's a one of a kind of guy there's nobody else like him 💯😎... Also the guy in the green shirt keeps reminding me of how thick my hair was before I turned 18 and it started thinning out every year and at 31 I'm on all kinds of dht blocking medications and hair thickeners and vitamins sigh I miss being 17 years old 😞🤣 Awesome video mate 💯😎👌

This is why companies can't get employees, they learned the lesson Act 3 hasn't been coming so they are going to force it to happen. Thanks Bruce!

I met Bruce at his home when he lived in Bell Canyon CA. In the 90's Did an hour job there. He was very friendly and humble. We had a great conversation (non-industry stuff). I was pleasantly surprised when he gave me a signed The Adventures of Brisco County Jr poster. A treasure I still have.
My first exposure to him was Hercules/Zena and then Brisco County Jr. As I got older I found his other stuff and absolutely loved it. Hands down one of my favorites.

i was 8 years old in 72 and Gene Hackman was my first favorite actor. When he dies in Poseidon adventure i was devastated. i loved it so much and i made my father take me 3 times to see it. (yes we sat in the smoking section lol) so the next Gene hackman film that came out i just had to get my father to take me to see it. it was called Scarecrow and it was as far away from the reverend Scott character in the Poseidon Adventure as u can get lol. its because of Gene Hackman and my father that i had such an advanced "pallet" for different movies at such an early age. Thanks Dad thanks Mr Hackman. :)

He has had a huge career. I've been a fan since the early 80s. I get why he is done with Ash. I get it-its okay. Make that season 4 animation BUT bring back Pablo, Kelly, and Brandy. They became a huge part of the story. Plus it is VERY rare to have a Latino actor have such a prominent role in the horror genre. Pablo's character was epic. Bring them back and tell their story after Ash disappeared. Again, I get the need to branch out and find your zen but finish the story properly. It doesn't have to end with Ash. Pass the baton to the others in the cast of Ash vs Evil Dead who are more than capable to play out the rest of the Evil Dead Legacy. There-you can call that show...Evil Dead Legacy-as Pablo, Kelly, and Brandy are his legacy, his family, and his ghostbeaters :)
@@erinskelly3714 The Superman costumes for *Lois & Clark* were absolutely terrible. Nobody could have made those suits look good. Regardless of who played the role, the costume design would have let them down.

I met Bruce at a weekend of horrors in NYC back in the 90s and he was the nicest guy you could ever meet. We were attending a murder mystery party him and I sat at the bar and got fucked up he introduced me to his gf at the time I introduced him to my gf and the 4 of us got a table and hung out and we had a really good time he was really down to earth he made me laugh all night. He was always one of my favorite actors after that night he's definitely in my top 3 THX BRUCE YOUR THE BEST
Love listening to/watching this podcast, Michael. Funny story, my cousin is mentioned in one of Bruce's books. I believe it's If Chins Could Kill, where Bruce mentions a lanky fellow with a prosthetic leg whom he met at a convention or something. Bruce told a Leg joke (why actors say break a leg, then they could be in the cast). My cousin Jason chuckled. Rather anti-climactic, He still has his green prosthetic leg signed to this day. I went to the convention center in Vancouver , I got an autograph from Bruce "keep groovy", I was talking and he's yeah yeah, true yah , aha :) , simply I just love his character, his emotional assertive masculine character is uplifting, hes funny in his way , from all the actors , he is one that stays on a pedestal for me , noting compares and great honor to shake his hand
Hey Bruce!! I grew up watching one of The Evil Dead movies. My parents let us watch anything. In particular the one where you go back in time to a medieval landscape. Already down to one hand. I watched it at least 50 times! Haha It meant a lot to me while growing up then as an adult I saw the new remake of The Evil Dead in theatres which both terrified and excited me! Thank you for existing!

When I was in college (CSUN), Campbell lived next to a friend of mine in Woodland Hills, CA. He came to a screening of Army of Darkness and it was just after Brisco (died). Loved all that. I wish Brisco could come back, but Carlton Cuse is post-Lost money now so no chance. At that screening, we all cheered when his name came onscreen, and he, great guy that he is, said "You wouldn't cheer if I wasn't here!". CSUN misses Bruce Campbell. Also Burn Notice was fun!

Little known fact, Bruce almost got the part of Superman in the 90's Lois & Clark show, but the showrunners decided to go with Dean Cain.

I met Bruce at a weekend of horrors in NYC back in the 90s and he was the nicest guy you could ever meet. We were attending a murder mystery party him and I sat at the bar and got fucked up he introduced me to his gf at the time I introduced him to my gf and the 4 of us got a table and hung out and we had a really good time he was really down to earth he made me laugh all night. He was always one of my favorite actors after that night he's definitely in my top 3 THX BRUCE YOUR THE BEST
The scene where he shoots the witch behind him without looking was so awesome. Wish they had that more

Love listening to/watching this podcast, Michael. Funny story, my cousin is mentioned in one of Bruce's books. I believe it's If Chins Could Kill, where Bruce mentions a lanky fellow with a prosthetic leg whom he met at a convention or something. Bruce told a Leg joke (why actors say break a leg, then they could be in the cast). My cousin Jason chuckled. Rather anti-climactic, He still has his green prosthetic leg signed to this day.

I went to the convention center in Vancouver , I got an autograph from Bruce "keep groovy", I was talking and he's yeah yeah, true yah , aha :) , simply I just love his character, his emotional assertive masculine character is uplifting, hes funny in his way , from all the actors , he is one that stays on a pedestal for me , noting compares and great honor to shake his hand

I grew up watching one of The Evil Dead movies. My parents let us watch anything. In particular the one where you go back in time to a medieval landscape. Already down to one hand. I watched it at least 50 times! Haha
It meant a lot to me while growing up then as an adult I saw the new remake of The Evil Dead in theatres which both terrified and excited me!

When I was in college (CSUN), Campbell lived next to a friend of mine in Woodland Hills, CA. He came to a screening of Army of Darkness and it was just after Brisco (died). Loved all that. I wish Brisco could come back, but Carlton Cuse is post-Lost money now so no chance. At that screening, we all cheered when his name came onscreen, and he, great guy that he is, said "You wouldn't cheer if I wasn't here!". CSUN misses Bruce Campbell. Also Burn Notice was fun!
