    I've been monitoring the rtv issues online since awhile back. Picked up a 23 brz just 2 weeks ago. Adding onto your insights, the headlamp control unit at the steering rack differs from the earlier models too. This video offers a sense of relief. 老哥,好在有你,谢谢!

    jealous of that oil pressure sensor/gauge install!

    • @CMAutohaus

      The owner @oruwu drew it and 3d printed the gauge mount himself!

    Oh hey that's my car! 😀 Thanks Ezekiel!

      Make an esty for those gauge mounts!

    Wow! Ok so it’s not nearly as bad as the 2022 models, I think they might have changed the way they are doing things I hope! Either way great video, I want to continue to see another video of these to see results! Thank you!

      If you watch some of the other 2023 oil pan drop videos, its really been hit or miss. The latest production dates have little RTV in the pick up so far, but I've only done a few of those.

      Got a European 2023 delivering from Germany in a month, seriously hoping it's improved since I wanna keep it stock for a while

      Stop by for at least the 1,000 mile break in oil change and inspection. You obviously are an ae86 fan, we regularly have at least 2-3 at the shop.

    Holy crap! That’s a lot of RTV chunks. That’s crazy and that engine is being raced…oh man.

    Been considering a BRZ since my 2004 WRX is developing major oil leaks. I put all ~220k miles on it myself over the past 19 years, never had any major problems until now & wanted to stick with Subaru.
    Are there any aftermarket gaskets available for the FA24? The silicone sealant thing seems so flaky, so to speak.
    Your channel is awesome, informative, and entertaining. I catch myself cracking up at the memes you guys insert. 🤣 Keep up the great work!

    Pretty much every platform needs additional oil pan baffling to negate starvation in high lateral g situations. This is nothing new

    • @CMAutohaus
      @CMAutohaus  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you watch 900brz's video the key is that you get a repeatable 60psi drop on corners that no oil pan baffle has been able to solve yet. Sounds like an engineering flaw from the factory to me considering all the adverts show this car drifting around a racetrack

    • @martindeoliveira5128
      @martindeoliveira5128 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CMAutohaus don’t completely agree. The KillerBee baffle design was very experimental and didn’t address sloshing at all. There’s a user NoStreetRacing which uses the SYMS design which was run at the same track as BRZ900 and showed so promise, however like all the baffles currently on the market it also appears to mainly be a horizontal baffle with little to no vertical baffling around the pickup. You would know more as I have seen on one of your videos you installed this pan and baffle to a white GR86 (which may even be NoStreetRacing).
      All the current available baffles appear to all be the same FA20 style baffles so in essence there isn’t a unique baffle designed for the FA24.

    Proven weak point of these cars is hard right turns. The car starves, it has nothing to do with rpm.

    • @CMAutohaus
      @CMAutohaus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct, although Im sure higher RPM demands more volume of oil.

    • @jasonm.1370

      @@CMAutohaus it’s all relative but there’s a fix, v8 swap. F Toyota for making this pos engine and selling it to people. I don’t understand how people are still buying these cars then finding a way to justify it? Money has no value and people are idiots.

      😂 very original, v8 swap yes, not everyone got a few thousands lying around my guy

      @@huyanhpro1999 😂 you shouldn’t be making payments on something you cannot afford to buy twice in cash. Learn how to save money. A 2005 civic with 150k on the clock will get you to work and back. Stop living check to check, in a car you cannot afford, spending money on restaurants when you can cook at home, buying that $7 coffee and $200 sneakers. Wasting $10 a day eating Mc Donald’s.

      @@jasonm.1370 yes my guy I have a TRD Aurion (essentially a supercharged v6 camry) that is on its way to 240k KM and more to come) bro your argument is invalid to me lol, and also I'm just an avg earner in Australia, search that up, living in sydney is already expensive as it is. I don't have a disposable income. On that note, people who can afford this car more likely to have a second car that they go from and to work already, I doubt the percentage of people who have this are genz, at least in around where I live all of them running old cars from 2004-2015.
