Ditch the flex pipe and replace with solid steel wall pipe. I believe there is a blower to assist the dryer that can be added to that job. That is a very long run of venting , lateral and vertical.
Appreciate you posting this. I'm checking in with a friend of mine who just bought a house to make sure her home inspector checked hers out. Mine didn't and mine was pretty bad back then.
I Enjoy your videos dude! Keep em coming. I’m in school right now for hvac at ivy tech in southern Indiana. Can’t wait to get going in the field. Thanks for posting. I look forward to more videos.
Anytime you make a video you will look much better if you have everything needed to do the job properly and easily. Leaving your drill behind looks so unprofessional BUT going ahead and spending the extra time to clean manually says a lot GOOD about your professionalism too. TIP FOR ALL HERE -> Those COVID mask are great for keeping lint out of your head and airways too.
A lot of guys have the digital gauges , they do all the work for them but there’s formulas you use to calculate superheat and subcooling based on the metering device
We do dryer vent cleanings also the worst one i have ever did was somebody that had a birds nest in there vent. The smell and the things that came out were disgusting.
We take the poles and a brush to chimneys just like the dryer vent and a couple extra things. If you can clean dryers you can clean chimneys just get informed! Expand the business bro💪🏽
Geeez bro make sure u buy a mask for working in these types on environment I can only imagine what particles are in the air 😷. But anyways keep up the great videos.
Kevin Kinnard it’s so sad because I had a mask in my bag but idk why it didn’t cross my mind to put it on smh 🤦🏽♂️. I’ll protect myself next time I promise! I definitely felt it the next day smh lol
I need a help am interested in HVAC learning to be come a HVAC technician..am not in the USA and we're I am is hard to fine the course studying it in English,,
Resources are not unlimited. Best to clean than replace. Saves energy, global time in processing and water, reduces carbon, can save a lot of money too. Look up how much methane and off gas landfills produce.

Know what I’d never have you at my home ever again.. you come prepared, each one of you have a list to make sure all equipment is on board, and don’t talk about someone’s home in a filthy condition.. that’s the job YOU chose and be thankful you have this home to earn a living by.. you need to apologize to this client. Did you even ask them to film?
I love how he disconnected the the gas line and didn’t double check to see if it was sealed or leaking
Safe work practices!!!
I defently suggest a mask doing that everyday without one will haunt you one day
Ditch the flex pipe and replace with solid steel wall pipe. I believe there is a blower to assist the dryer that can be added to that job. That is a very long run of venting , lateral and vertical.
I would have just replaced the hose lol
Exactly! I always think that!
Appreciate you posting this. I'm checking in with a friend of mine who just bought a house to make sure her home inspector checked hers out. Mine didn't and mine was pretty bad back then.

jhsims89 wats up bro! Thanks for tuning in, I’ll be dropping more videos , stay tuned and keep me posted on how school goes for you
This was basically my house when I moved in. People before me never cleaned it and I got about 5 sacks of lint out.
Oh no... So dangerous to let it get in that shape.. Great job clearing it out.
Constant cleaning is the key to the prevention of fire hazards and safety.
I can already feel dust going in my eyes
Haha
my house is so old and i’m pretty sure our dryer vent has never been cleaned 😬
Awesome. I do appliance repair I have seen a costumer of mine with 5 gallons of lint stuck in there dryer vent
Appliances, HVAC & refrigeration damn that’s ridiculous lol
I do this in So Cal and see that all the time.
I seen you workn on a roof by eastern and sunset fam.
Eli GotGame haha yea that was me
Thanks for the videos !!!
😎
Really appreciate the opportunity to see what really happens behind the scenes.
Luis Gomez no problem. Lol sometimes it gets dirty out here
How often should residential dryer vent be clean? Thanks in advance
Atleast once a year , depends on how much you’re using you dryer but on average just once a year will keep you safe
@@YungHVAC thank you so much
I clean the ones in the dryer after every load and the extension once a week. I'm taking no chances.
BTW, I'd make an adapter for those to fit the vacuum directly onto the ducting, and put that brush on a cordless drill. You'd be done in no time.
samuraimonkey yea I forgot the drill lol or else the video pulls been cooler 🤦🏽♂️ lol and the job a lot faster lol
I wonder how many pounds of lint was in that tube dam!
At this point just replace the whole thing lol 😆 smh
You should replace that tubing instead of trying to clean it................it's so bad.
I saw one about that bad but it was pvc I dragged all 20ft of it out from under the house and flushed it with a water hose it was horrible
Hvac With Brandon damn!! Lol from under the house tho

What tool do you use to check subcool and superheat? I have yellow jacket gauges coming in but don't know what to buy for that?
A lot of guys have the digital gauges , they do all the work for them but there’s formulas you use to calculate superheat and subcooling based on the metering device
good video but might want to spray soap water on gas connections to be sure there are no leaks many a house has blown up

Amazing
100 to 125 is what I charge to clean out dryer vents. It's dirty, but man you can make a killing. Just putting it out there
Secure the Bag yea that’s a legit side hustle
You should wear a face mask to protect your airway
Why not just buy new hoses?

Haha crazy, I’m glad we don’t do dryer vents, but hey money is money!
How you say ‘Fire’ will haunt me for years to come
Haha
Damn im $6000 in dept after graduating HVAC school and I can't even get hired to clean vents lol.
i would have gone to HD and bought their cheapest drill. What a disaster.
And a multi apartment building too putting the whole building at risk for a fire
Still beats flipping burgers man! :)
samuraimonkey any day haha
You got my tumb up .Thank for save that house . Too bad you not in canada. Please have your maks on . Dirsty every where.
I would have just replaced the first piece. That pipe is cheap.
$20 and done!
brah, you cant do a complete job without the drill. I would have rescheduled or went out and bought a drill for this.
I was thinking the same thing. The time saved would have been worth the cost of a cheap drill, even a corded one.
Or, just replace that duct. Like $20 for a new one and 100% clean instantly.
Way faster to just replace the inner flex and head to the next job
Ayy bro my friend just graduated from NTI bro and he’s got some experience, are you guys currently hiring?
Ricardo Pacheco idk have to call and check but most companies are gonna be hiring within the next 2 months. It’s about to get hot
