I just tried these today .. I love them! Good flavor and the heat isn’t overpowering .. just enough to sweat a little bit .. mixed mine with some leftover carne asada skirt steak I had in the fridge for a lazy Sunday brunch
It was so good! I was a bit scared at first because I didn’t like the taste of the Mexican corn flavoured one but this flavour was really excellent. Just the right amount of tangy, salty and spicy!

The reason why the corn one taste horrible is because they made the noodles with corn syrup or something🤢 it tastes like spicy pancakes with syrup it’s so weird and horrible. I thought it was the sauce that was bad and decided to reuse the pasta with other spices YUCK IT WAS STILL BAAAAAD. So good thing there is none of that “corn flavour” in this one.

As a spice lover I would like to see a "medium" version of this. Cilantro and lime are drowned out by the heat. Easily fixed by using half packet of sauce and adding fresh cilantro and lime maybe!
A little less of the spice packet does fine. I also only add the flakes in the last two minutes so they don’t get watered down. Still come out with a great chewy texture. And you HAVE to stir fry the noodles. I like cubing white mushrooms and throwing them in at the last two minutes with the flakes and then it all stir fries at the end. That texture is so pleasing I could eat a vat of it
Just bought this one today (the big bowl version), it is my favourite flavour of buldak so far for the savory tartness, and I love that the heat is gradual on this one as opposed to other flavours where it's an instant kocky. Although it is quite powerful it's also enjoyable... I always have a piece of bread and kefir ready when I eat these tho :') Although because the heat is gradual, it didn't feel overpowering while you eat the thing

Fair warning I’ve always had an off flavor to cilantro and just used less assuming it was strong I love spicy and especially like habenero things. Got this just to learn there is a cilantro flavor and the whole bowl had a off putting soap taste😂😢
