Hi Lisa! Fun fact- the reason you feel that “vibrating” sensation when you eat spicy foods is because it triggers the same pain receptors in your skin that react to heat, called polymodal nociceptors. These are pain fibers that exist all over the body. The spicy food excites those receptors and we feel the sensation of ‘tingling’ or ‘vibration’. 🙂
Look how far she came with her spice tolerance! From Day 1 where she was struggling to eat the jalapeños to her recent challenge eating 3 tbsps of chilli flakes😍. Bravo Lisa 👏

This series legit got me through online school I remember watching the first few episodes months ago and looking forward to it. It's so amazing how far you've come it almost makes me think I could try building up my spice tolerance.
With so many people trying the spicy challenges I was trying to do as much research as I could about what works best for spicy food to calm the spice & this is what I found. Basically once you reach into these higher scoville ranges you're pretty stuck with the spice for about 20 min. The bread will help absorb any surface chili oils out of the mouth & everything remaining is only fat soluble so whole milk & ice cream will help break it up. The reason for the 20 minutes is because hot peppers cause a chemical reaction in the brain & the higher scoville brings a longer reaction because your brain thinks something is burning you which is why you make a ton of saliva, snot & tears to try & flush it out & it takes about 20 min for your brain to decide you're safe.
I feel like the people that suggest remedies are actually just messing with her, really warm water and mint gum?! at this point she might as well not try anything lol

I used to eat takis a lot and spicy food right corner of my belly started hurting and till this day idk what it is but I try to eat less spicy food bc I see that trigger that feeling, it was so bad one day I couldn’t walk
The person who recommended hot water was so wrong 💀
the fact that the one chip challenge barely had an effect blows my mind lmao
i did that a few years ago and it still gives me war flashbacks
As a spicy food lover, I am so eager to try this! Loved loved this journey
She said it was spicy and then went and got more hot sauce 😅I could never

"im building my spice tolerance" IMMEDIATELY GOES TO GHOST PEPPER
woke up 3 am just for this video💀🤠
She really ate that up
I'm sorry but idk why they would make a challenge the employees can't even do, that's literally a bowl of chilli flakes, a LOT of them. I feel like they know that's impossible.
my acid reflux is hurting just watching this
