Great vid, looks alot like the trails here in Michigan! Glad to know you can ride it a little easy as well as hard. Can't wait to get one myself, this Africa Twin has been a lot of fun and weight, but this RX looks much more agile and still has great power!

Nice trails. So what do you think of the suspension on your bike. I’m 180 just to compare. Is it smooth or stiff on the stuff that your riding.
I find it a little stiff but I’m only 145 pounds still breaking it in and getting used to the bike though

How tall are you? Im about 5'7 and looking to get this as my first full size bike. I was considering the CRF250F but I prefer the inverted forks on this. I'll mainly be doing trails and open field

Would you say this bike is great for hard enduro? slow technical ride?woods and rocks? can it compete with the 4-strokes of the ktm\Husky\Sherco? is its clutch lever easy to pull? How's the bottom end?
It’s a great bike for trail riding clutch is very easy to pull lots of vitamin for popping over logs and rocks the Honda is the most reliable it’s going to last the longest and have the best resale value in this new bike is one of the most powerful 250s on the market👍
Where did you mount your hour meter?
I don’t use an hour meter. I just change my oil every couple rides.
How do you find the bike in steeper technical terrain? Do you wish it had a 6th gear?
In the tight technical this bike really shines has a lot of usable bottom and power and I was quite surprised by some of the more extreme hill climbs this thing tractor up it… The only time I wish it had a six gear is when I jump out on the logging roads between trails and extra gear for a little bit more TopSpeed would be nice

How is the low end power for tight and rocky trails?

@@ironthumb3048 its still a high maintenance race bike. its basically a crf250r with different engine mapping and suspension valving
Still looks like it wants to stall pretty easily in low speed technical stuff
I have the same bike and live and ride in the east Kootenay’s in BC. I’m just wondering what map you like to ride in? I prefer #2.
That day I was trying map one but I haven’t got to go out and ride too much it got cold up here I’m just a little bit north of you in the Cariboo👍
Is the mapping the only difference in the engine vs the 250R? Same exhaust etc.?
The sprocket is also a different size for different gearing and the suspension is a little softer for Enduro style riding other than that the bike is pretty much the same
