A couple of reactions you may enjoy include the stand up 3-song medley featuring Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog and All Shook Up from the 68 Comeback Special, and Words from Las Vegas i969.
Fun reaction. All of the '68 Comeback Special performances were awesome. Just to let you know, Elvis was in great physical shape the overwhelming majority of his years in entertainment. His typical weight was around 170 lbs. and he was almost 6 foot tall so... He started having major physical problems around the mid-1970's including arthritis, loss of elasticity in his legs and also spasticity (prolonged muscle contractions) in his legs which made it painful for him to move about. He was prescribed corticosteroids for the conditions & a well-known side-effect is puffiness mainly in the face & waist and weight gain.
Loved your reaction!💚☀️ Elvis really seemed to love this song. The link that i had sent you ( and YT deleted immediately 😢) was a sit down version, where you could see better, how much he was into this song. Thank you so much for this video!
Sit down version definitely worth seeing. Elvis was having fun Jamming with his musicians and you can see he had a lot of confidence with the guitar. He definitely knew how to play the guitar not just a prop.
I'm so happy you have finally got to the '68 Comeback Special and this impromptu performance is great, but it's not the entire song. There is a much better performance of this song from the '68 Comeback Special. Will link it below. th-cam.com/video/U_t20f4PiRM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AgoDRgKwuhgZsTNO

I wish he would have played the guitar more. A lot of people think he couldn’t actually play, but he clearly could. He just chose not to.
