I have just recently started watching you and reviving my love of cross stitch! I have enjoyed the two of you so much I decided to go back and watch from the very beginning. It is really spooky to watch as the pandemic closes in and, of course, you have no idea what is lurking right ahead of you to gobble you up! Then watching as you cope at the very beginning from our vantage point now 2 years out and accepting it as the new norm. It just reminded me how much I relied on my quilting during lockdown and how good it was I had a generous stash and waiting projects to work on! Our crafts are definitely our sanity! Anyway, I really enjoy watching you two and now feel like you are friends!! 😊

So i have been thinking. What about a museum of stitch that people could donate their work to. Those people that don’t have anyone to leave it to. So many of us stitch…would be wonderful to keep it and display it.

I am a relatively new cross stitcher. In an earlier video you referred to the floss as “One hundred three” . Is that Au Ver A Soie that I have used in my wool appliqué projects? I Can’t tell you how much I enjoy sharing time with you both. I just started counted cross stitch in Oct. 2021. My dear hubby gifted me at Christmas “ Hoity Toity” using Jan Hicks thread color conversion. I just love it although it took me almost a week to get use to the 36 count. I am a monogamous stitch and I think this is really going to take me a long time..All the other charts that I have kitted up are calling to me…. I have to put the petal to the metal and stitch stitch stitch while still enjoying it. My hubby thinks it will take me two years, I am hoping for less than one year.
Thank you Sharon! The 100.3 is a type of thread by Au Ver A Soie. It is thinner than the typical silk. Maybe you could stitch one other project during the time you stitch Hoity Toity - you don't want to burn out on a project. As you know, I believe in serial starts and lots of projects. But whatever you do...enjoy your stitching time!

I had to laugh out loud on the episode that Laura was going to watch her haul spending after a household expense. I totally understand unexpected expenses that halt needed cross stitch supplies! That same week I spent $600 taking my sons turtle to the vet. The turtle still lives at my house. Got the turtle when my son was 3. My son is now 34. Purchasing has now resumed. I look forward to your videos every other week. Your stitching projects are amazing. I am very excited to be going to Summer School this year. It is my first time for this retreat. I look forward to meeting you both and all the rest of the stitchers.
So i have been thinking. What about a museum of stitch that people could donate their work to. Those people that don’t have anyone to leave it to. So many of us stitch…would be wonderful to keep it and display it.

I thought you two would get a kick out of this. I work (I'm a legal assistant/word processor for a big law firm in Little Rock, AR) so I can't watch the Johnny Depp trial live. However, I have given one of my friend's who stays home MARCHING ORDERS! She is to tell me whenever they come back with a verdict so I can call up youtube and watch it live! I Can’t tell you how much I enjoy sharing time with you both. I just started counted cross stitch in Oct. 2021. My dear hubby gifted me at Christmas “ Hoity Toity” using Jan Hicks thread color conversion. I just love it although it took me almost a week to get use to the 36 count. I am a monogamous stitch and I think this is really going to take me a long time..All the other charts that I have kitted up are calling to me….
I have to put the petal to the metal and stitch stitch stitch while still enjoying it. My hubby thinks it will take me two years, I am hoping for less than one year.
Thank you Sharon! The 100.3 is a type of thread by Au Ver A Soie. It is thinner than the typical silk. Maybe you could stitch one other project during the time you stitch Hoity Toity - you don't want to burn out on a project. As you know, I believe in serial starts and lots of projects. But whatever you do...enjoy your stitching time!
Hi Girls! I'll be attending Summer school at the Attic. I live locally, so if you need anything just let me know. I had to laugh out loud on the episode that Laura was going to watch her haul spending after a household expense. I totally understand unexpected expenses that halt needed cross stitch supplies! That same week I spent $600 taking my sons turtle to the vet. The turtle still lives at my house. Got the turtle when my son was 3. My son is now 34. Purchasing has now resumed. Looking forward to meeting you in August! Oh and Ricky the turtle has recovered and doing well! Angie

So happy to spend my foggy afternoon with both of you. Loved seeing everything you showed. I’m going to have to shoom over for the Halloween bag. Been a huge fan of Tom Brady since he came to the Patriots. Still rooting for him. We miss him in Pats nation but very happy for him and his continued successes. Well, time for me to stitch. Laura, I am so proud of you carrying out the marching orders. I fell out of my stitching chair and think I seriously hurt myself. Just kidding. I love everything you all stitched and are going to stitch. My goodness, such beautiful project bags. I will be making a few over the next couple of weeks. I have several quilting related projects to do but will continue stitching on What Remains is Love and few other projects. I am in no hurry. I just enjoy the time spent with a needle in my hand. You have such great influence in this stitching community and this is a big deal when you take a moment to highlight their work. I know I rush over to see new floss tubes and enjoy seeing everyone's beautiful projects. My challenge is then I want to copy everyone and start clicking away to purchase more patterns. Yikes!
