Hi Brenda! Hi Laura! Brenda, glad you are back to normal! Laura, LOVE your sweater! Tell your mother it is gorgeous! (My favorite color 💚) Thanks for the mention and for all the inspiration. Have a great 2 weeks, friends - happy stitching! xo, Tricia
So glad you are feeling better Brenda and that your stitching mojo is back. Love your sweater Laura and that your mom knitted it. It is beautiful and special. I enjoy your videos so much. They are informative and fun. You all can go on as long as you want; I will watch you! Thanks for taking your time to share.
So much everything, every week! 🥰😍😘 Brenda, the piece of the girls with the kite strings is so so beautiful! My cousin stitched that back in the day for a friend who has 3 daughters. I’ve always loved it. I did Enchanted Alphabet back in the 90s and I still have it hanging up because I love it. Have a wonderful week. Stay safe!

Brenda, so very happy that your last treatment is coming up and then you can put it behind you. Prayers for a clean scan. The relationship between you two is simply amazing- everyone should have a friend like the two of you. Laura, I will be stitching that sampler in honor of your birthday and, Brenda, I am starting Consider The Lillies in honor of the end of chemo. Just love you two.
I never know where to begin when commenting on your videos because just jammed with good stuff...l Brenda I remember your Just Nan pieces from your blog ❤️ Laura, I adore Margaret Cottingham and just like Brenda, have it kitted and all three parts and never a stitch put in. Love the sweater, Laura. Noticed it before you even commented that your mother knitted it for you. It is beautiful and that green color is perfect for you. The good natured ribbing about Ohio State had me laughing. All in good fun. Love seeing all your work and seeing all those beautiful samplers hanging on Brenda’s walls. So glad your mojo is back, more importantly that you are feeling better!
How happy I was to see your sweet smiling faces today! Brenda glad you got your mojo back💕. Laura what a pretty sweater your mom made for you💕 Today’s floss tube had me writing down all kinds of notes with so many shopping ideas😊. Thank you for the inspiration and joy you both bring to us on Sunday mornings
You two always brighten my day. Brenda, I could see the difference in your attitude with your mojo being back. Send some my way please. Laura, you were very daring to wear that ball cap!! My very best to you both.
I always look forward to the videos from you ladies! Your relationship is as beautiful as your stitching! I think you would both be so much fun to sit and stitch with! I think it is also wonderful how you both had handmade treasures from your moms, Laura's sweater and Brenda's basket. How precious our moms are and anything from them is a treasure! Brenda, I am so thankful you are feeling better. I was concerned for you when you were talking last time about how ill you had been. You ladies take care, and Laura get that naughty hat out of that house - STAT!!!!
Good to see you both. Brenda I love your older pieces and do very glad your mojo is back!!!! Laura, I could not stop Leigh oh when put on that hat. It was great fun and very brave if you. Be well and safe!
Oh my goodness you made me laugh out loud so much. There I was sitting with my headphones on. My husband thought I’d lost the plot. What an hilarious floss tube. A real tonic!! 😂😂😂😂💞💞💞

It's ALWAYS sooo good to see you both!!! So glad you are feeling better Brenda. Video was "chock" full of stitchy goodness!!! I have a very LONG list of things to check out. Thank you for another great video!
Brenda, I almost fell off my recliner when you said you were from Adrian, Michigan. I too am from Adrian. Haven't lived there since 1977. Live on the Gulf Coast.Glad you have your stitching mojo back. Love watching you and Laura!
That is wild!!! I am sure Brenda will be very interested when she reads your comment! Thanks for watching and commenting....we are jealous of the Gulf Coast life!
You two always give me a good laugh! I’ve been binge watching and enjoy every minute. Keep pen and note pad handy. Cannot believe how much you do and so beautiful!!!
Great to see you both and all the stitching goodness and inspiration. Can't wait to see progress on what you've been inspired to stitch. I'm looking forward to seeing what patterns come out for the Needlework Expo. I'm thinking there will be some good haul. 👛 Have a great week. Enjoy every stitch!
Ladies enjoyed your video so much. Glad Brenda is feeling better and found her mojo. Laura, all of your starts are so beautiful, can't wait to see them finished!
So fantastic to see you both! I was so worried about you Brenda. Laura, that green is fabulous on you and kudos to your mom for beautiful work! The color is very flattering on you. Loved your parade of all that haul and starts. I'm so happy to see you with your mojo zipping along!!!
Thanks for a great video! I’m glad you showed Margaret Cottam. I have this one and never started it. I think I will now. Your start on it looks great!!
It’s always fun to watch y’all but this week was extra special. Thanks for the IG shout out Laura! I’m glad I could inspire you to get that sweet drum out from Summer School. The wee flowers aren’t too bad, even if they are over 1. Brenda, so glad to hear you’re feeling better and have your stitching mojo back!
Good Evening Ladies! You are so wonderful, inspirational and funny.!! 😀❤️ I have been watching some episodes of yours now and am a new subscriber. Your stitching is superb and exquisite, and I get real stomach-hoops when you show your finishes and the hauls, and silks and everything!! I currently stitch Blackbird Designs "My Heart Can Rest". Been a Blackbird fan for almost 20 years and as you say, they are my comfort stitching for sure. Laura-love your starts, stories and I am always curious when you look in your bags, to see what is in there! !!! 😂🤣 Brenda-so good you are back to normal life after your unfortunate bad illness-and your stitching is heaven and beyond! I started stitching Just Nan looong time ago too, and that was my intro to stitch real reproduction samplers. Your friendship & love of stitching and sharing it with us is wonderful and know that you are a true inspiration and make me happy! 😀❤️ I am quite ill in my heart-and have lupus, so I am mostly isolated from the world until I can get vaccinated from Covid. I see my own stash-shopping as absolute necessity! No need to explain or justify to anyone-every art needs suppliments to be created. Thank You for being my virtual friends ! ❤️Cross-stitch greetings from Annie Nykvist (60 years) Sweden.
Hello Annie!!!!! Thank you for your wonderful comments! So happy that you are stash shopping during this rough time!!!!!! My (Laura) great-grandparents came to America from Goteborg. Hope you get your vaccine very soon!! Hugs!!!!
It's been years since I have laughed so hard over you know what, by you know who to the unexpecting Michigan fan! Glad it was taken in the spirit it was given! Hilarious!!! Another wonderful flosstube. So many starts, Laura! And Brenda, so glad you got your MOJO back.
Wow! You two ladies make my day! I look so forward to your videos and I am usually stitching or have been stitching on o many of same designs Thank you for all the smiles you put on my face!
Brenda, I am so glad to see you feeling better... you have some color in your cheeks again! You ladies always make me so happy. Thank you for another video.
As always I loved the video. I envy your friendship. I would love to have a friend that shared my love of stitching and other creative endeavors. Glad to see your rosy cheeks Brenda...really can tell you are feeling better. Happy stitching.
Ladies thank you so much for the shout out! Talk about an H & H😍! I actually ran out to the porch with my iPad to show my husband, and did a little dance. The only downside is now he wants the stitching I supposedly made him. I’m so Happy to see that you got your stitching mojo back Brenda. I think it’s very inspiring to see someone of your caliber and with all your years of stitching be very honest about how the joy of needlework can come and go sometimes. It teaches all of us to be kind to ourselves and to honor where we are right now. Like you say all the time… Stitching should be fun. As usual I love all the WIPS, finishes and acquisitions you both make. Laura that sweater makes your eyes look beautiful! Your mom is an amazing knitter. Be well ladies and happy stitching💕
Thank you so much Katherine!!!! Love your reaction to our shout out!!! Hope that inspires you to make another video soon! Your first was so good!!!!!!! Sending you lots of hugs!
Love watching y'all. It's like visiting with good friends. I get so many ideas!! Looking at the wips are great, but I would love to see some finishes. Please show some to let us see how beautiful they are. Eagerly awaiting your next video.
Great video girls! The layers of intriguing topics ..... thanks for giving us a fun hour plus of stitching with you! Be well and definitely stitch what you love! Hugs until we get to meet up again!
What talented mothers - basket maker and knitter - both beautiful treasures !!! Happy to hear the MOJO is back. Loved the reaction to the O hat naughty Mike . Enjoy your stitching time
Cannot get through a week (or so) without watching you two - need to say this: you are both refreshing, natural and uniquely yourselves ~ you make us laugh and entertain us!! We love your tours and backgrounds, wood, finishes, FFO’s and etc... but I especially love the friendship you have with each other!!! Ok, I really only watch for the cuckoo clock to go off 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤣♥️
Thank you Lori!!!!!! Yes, that clock is hilarious!!!! Your comments are so kind and we appreciate them so much! We love your designs and ever since I read this comment from you I have been working on one this week! and loving it!!! Hugs!!!
Glad you’ve got your mojo back Brenda. I’m hoping to get nerve pain under control so I can stitch again. I want to find a Hardwick Manor hoop to put in a lap or floor stand which I’ve been advised to get so I don’t have to hunch over my work which is aggravating the pinched nerve in my neck. Great video ladies.
Thank you Peggy! Have you looked on hoopandframe.com ???? That is Hoop and Frame. They sell those frames and stands. Hope that helps!!!! We want you stitching without pain!
Oh my stars Laura, that bag!!!! And your sweater!!! Brenda, your Lavender & Lace and Just Nan pieces are absolutely gorgeous!! I am so happy that you are feeling better and that your stitching mojo has returned. Thanks as always ladies! Stay safe and happy stitching.
Oh oh oh I am from Newton Falls Ohio. North East Ohio 60 miles south of Cleveland. In 1962 I was in the marching Band. I played Trumpet and I was the field Marshall . Anyway our field trip for the year was to go to Ohio State's home coming Game. We got to go to the field house while they warmed up. Then we also got to March with the band from the field house to the field. Wow they were an all boy band! ! They are high steppers !!!!!! Their steps were as high as my knees. That was so much fun. I ended up going to Youngstown State University - Dana School of Music. I was still playing trumpet but I was the only voice major in the band. I Really took a beating but I loved every minute of it. Then I moved to Michigan After I got married. I lived there for 38 Years. I love you two. I had no idea Ohio State was such a deal. ( I am now in Las Vegas) ❤️🌺
Brenda glad your mojo is back. Love your vintage piece. I am unpacking . My walls here are covered. I put everything I stitch up and out. I cant do anything big anymore. I love watching you two. Laura better start stitching and finish some things. All her pieces are so lovely .
So fun to stitch and chat with you....yes....I talked to you both 😊 Brenda, so glad you're feeling better. I could tell the moment I saw you. You have your color back!! I'm happy you both are enjoying our wonderful hobby!! Happy stitching my friends 💓
Hi ladies. I stitched my Mary Griffith's sampler on 40 count vintage Meadow Rue per Jean Lea's advice. It turned out beautifully and the colors really pop.
Another great video! I loved Brenda’s reaction to the hat. (Michigan grad here. At least Laura redeemed herself with a few Go Blues haha. Loved seeing all you are working on. You two bring such joy to so many!
Really happy you have your mojo back Brenda and Laura your sweater suits you to a T. I’ve been watching you ladies since the pandemic and I don’t miss an episode. You always make me laugh and bring a smile to my face. Many thanks to you both for recharging my love of cross stitch after a 10 year hiatus
You two ladies are just the best. I have watched this video over three days because it has taken me that long to check out all the links and products you talk about 😂. Thank you for all your effort and enthusiasm.
Because of you, I only stitch what I love. You have given me permission to halt projects that aren't doing it for me. I'm starting two smalls as birthday gifts for friends. Thank you!
My husband joined me watching your video and he got the biggest kick out of the whole Michigan / Ohio thingy...He’s a Penn Stater so he understands rivalry’s. I on the other hand enjoyed being overstimulated by samplers. Glad you have you stitching mojo back, Brenda! As we say in Wisconsin...keeper’ movin’!
Another super fun video! I thought I was going to die when Laura put that hat on! It’s so fun to watch the two of you tease each other, what a wonderful friendship you have.❤️
Omg 😲 too funny. Just wanted to mention. I watched a Vonna TH-cam on what she does to her ironing board to help smooth the fabric. Lots of layers . Just thought you might want to peek. I love looking at all your samplers. I have never done one....yet... pretty new to cross stitching. Some day I hope to...
Great to see you both and all your stitching!!! Lots of great projects and progress. Seems like everyone is stitching Alice Bierton, I got my 56 cream linen at Hobby House Needleworks plus I am using the 100/3 color 499 which she carries as well. She does have the Cafe au lait in 56 count and also Fire Poppies now has 56 count too. Laura that bag is beautiful and already checking it out, would be a great Mother’s Day present. That was too funny with the “O” hat. I had to laugh for when I used to travel for work, the boys would always ask for me to bring a shirt home from a college but they had specific ones that I couldn’t bring home and the “O” was among those. Take care
I'm glad you're feeling better Brenda and that your stitching mojo is back. I have Black dog sampler kitted and need to start it ASAP. I made a stitching pillow from the flea market fabric. I love that fabric and your bag looks awesome.
So thankful you are feeling better Brenda. Nice to see a smile and a chuckle. Hugs. Oh you guys, I just can’t imagine those counts! I am at present having issues with 18 ct making them not look too thick. I go to eye dr march 1st so let’s hope we can figure what is up. Can’t not stitch! Been stitching since 83! Oh loved seeing the storage box items, that will be sooo cool. I recently made a stand up of sn old stitching and am going to use the 2 companion pieces on a project bag if I get the nerve up to do it. Lol. My first professionally framed was amid amish life as 1 piece and it too was over 100$. Gulp. Lol
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 thanks, well hAve a dense cataract on my left eye snd start of right eye. So I ordered then head magnifying light that Deb and Liz speak about on their last video. I can see again.lol have done all the window frames and crossing on roof in red house sampler. So 3 to 4 month wait to see ophthalmologist then not sure till surgery. But at least I know
We lived in MI for 12 years and I remember singing “Liquidate Ohio State and pummel Woody Hayes!!” Can’t remember the rest but I loved that version! Love your videos, you are my perfect FlossTube channel.
Glad you got your mojo back Brenda. I can't wait to see what else is in your trunk. I always find if fun to thumb through patterns and projects. Have a blessed week ladies 🌻
Brenda I ordered the same thing from wood woolen stories, and just got it the other day and love it! Your scissors goes in the stool with the flower and the larger cup is for your marker. Enjoy, thanks ladies for another very wonderful and enjoyable video! Oh how I love that cuckoo clock it’s timing always perfect!😂❤️
Laura, you were really walking on the wild side with all that Ohio State stuff! Love the variety of projects that you two motor through each time. You two inspire me to try new things all the time, thanks! One of these days, I'll dip my toe into the GigiR pool. There's so many designs, it's hard to choose. Take care and stitch on!
Hello ladies!! So glad your feeling better Laura, and Brenda I love your sweater. When you showed the piece 3 girls flying kites, I also made this piece many years ago and is in my daughter's bedroom. ❤
So could to see you smiling Brenda again. Was concerned last week. We all care about you both like your family. “Stitching family”. Stay safe & well. Love ya both. ❤️❤️❤️
Love you two! Brenda, you look so happy this week....makes my heart glad. I laughed and laughed when Laura put on the hat....Brenda’s reaction was perfection. You both show beautiful work and I always love seeing your haul and what’s on the radar. Have a great couple of weeks ladies! Blessings and take care.
Love you two! Always so enjoyable to hear about your projects, stash, plans, etc! Love Sundays! I have either you two or Carol..Saltbox Stitcher to watch!
I always love to watch your videos. So generous of you both to share your stitching world with so many and doing so with so much love and laughter. The friendship that you have is absolutely heartwarming. Thank you for all that you do! Quick question that you may have answered before, where to you buy the penny paperclips you use on your Book of Days? Happy stitching my friends!
Thank you Karen!!!! What lovely comments. Brenda got her penny rug paperclips as a thank you with her order from Under the Woolen Willow. She is on IG under that name.
I love Just Nan too. I stitched several of her band samplers. I still have a couple kitted up. I display two of her Christmas band samplers every year. I really learned a lot doing her pieces. Loved everything you two showed! I’ve got Jessie Watson by HATS kitted up with Vikki Clayton silks! ❤️❤️❤️
I laughed out loud at Brenda's response to the Woody hat! As a proud Buckeye from the storied Woody years, I clearly understand the passion. Like you, I enjoy the good natured rivalry, but have no use for the mean stuff. Even though you are a Wolverine, I'm glad your mojo is back. Just returned to cross stitching after many years away, and thank you two for fueling my renewed enthusiasm! Happy stitching!!
Brenda, I'm so glad you're feeling better.. and, of course that your mojo is back. I always enjoy your work and your banter and I look forward to your next episode. I've been catching up on Flosstube the past few days, and I've got a list of things that I have in my stash that I really want to start or work on because I've seen others working on them. Laura, thank you for letting me know that I'm not alone in that!
Hilarious but my true Michigander reaction also, to that darn hat! 😆 I love your green sweater Laura what a treasure that is made by your Mom, as well as Brenda’s basket made by her Mom. So glad to know Brenda’s stitching mojo is back love you both, you’re a joy to watch🥰
Enjoyable video. So glad you are doing better Brenda and your stitchy bug is coming back. Your welcome on the valentines goodies enjoy. Blessings my stitchy friends

I had such a great time watching you two. You are a continued inspiration and a lot of fun. Beautiful stitching. Stay well!
Thank you so much Lorraine!!!
Wow! You two ladies make my day! I look so forward to your videos and I am usually stitching or have been stitching on o many of same designs
Thank you for all the smiles you put on my face!
Thank you for watching and for your kind comments Lori!
Thank you so much Caryn!!!!!!
@@cherylbeaudet-stumpf235 Thank you Cheryl!!! Hugs!
Thank you Carrie!!!!!!!!!!
What talented mothers - basket maker and knitter - both beautiful treasures !!! Happy to hear the MOJO is back. Loved the reaction to the O hat naughty Mike . Enjoy your stitching time
Thanks Linda!!!!!!!!
You two are awesome. I laughed out loud so many times, in between all of the inspiration ❤️❤️
Thank you Kris!
Thank you so much Wanda!!!!! Hugs!
Oh oh oh I am from Newton Falls Ohio. North East Ohio 60 miles south of
Cleveland. In 1962 I was in the marching
Band. I played Trumpet and I was the field Marshall . Anyway our field trip for the year was to go to Ohio State's home coming
Game. We got to go to the field house while they warmed up. Then we also got to
March with the band from the field house to the field. Wow they were an all boy band! ! They are high steppers !!!!!! Their steps were as high as my knees. That was so much fun. I ended up going to Youngstown State University - Dana School of Music. I was still playing trumpet but
I was the only voice major in the band. I
Really took a beating but I loved every minute of it. Then I moved to Michigan
After I got married. I lived there for 38
Years. I love you two. I had no idea Ohio State was such a deal. ( I am now in Las Vegas) ❤️🌺
Oh that sounds like it was fun Mary!!!!! Thank you so much for your kind words!
Napping is the body’s way of healing. So happy you are feeling much much better.
Thank you Janet!!!!!
Brenda glad your mojo is back. Love your vintage piece. I am unpacking . My walls here are covered. I put everything I stitch up and out. I cant do anything big anymore. I love watching you two. Laura better start stitching and finish some things. All her pieces are so lovely .
Thank you Darleen!!!! When we come to Acorns and Threads someday you better meet us there!
I bet it is beautiful on that linen Karla!!!!!! Will look for some!! Thanks!
Love you guys!!! Thanks for another great video 😊💓💓
Thank you Cheryl!!!!
Another great video! I loved Brenda’s reaction to the hat. (Michigan grad here. At least Laura redeemed herself with a few Go Blues haha. Loved seeing all you are working on. You two bring such joy to so many!
Thanks Rebecca!!! Here is another one.....Go Blue!
Loved all the things you shared Laura! ❤
Brenda it's great to see you excited about stitching again !! ❤
Thank you Laura!!!!!
Awesome sweater :) Brenda I am happy your mojo is back. I can see you are feeling better. :) Happy stitching to you both!
Thank you Cheryl!!!
You two ladies are just the best. I have watched this video over three days because it has taken me that long to check out all the links and products you talk about 😂. Thank you for all your effort and enthusiasm.
Thank you so much Hanya!!!!! What kind words!!!
Because of you, I only stitch what I love. You have given me permission to halt projects that aren't doing it for me. I'm starting two smalls as birthday gifts for friends. Thank you!
Yipeeeee! That is so great Majorie!!! Yes, stitch what you love! Only what you love!
Laura, the green in that sweater really brings out your eyes. So pretty! Brenda, I love seeing your older pieces. Thanks for another great video!
Thank you so much for your compliments Molly!!!! Hugs!
Thank you Melissa!!!! I fear the next video will have no college rivalry hijinks.....but lots of sampler talk!
Another super fun video! I thought I was going to die when Laura put that hat on! It’s so fun to watch the two of you tease each other, what a wonderful friendship you have.❤️
Thank you very much Cindi!!!
I had my best laugh of the day today! I couldn’t decide what was funnier.. the hat or the reaction! LOL! Thank-you! I needed that.
Thank you Rebecca!!!!!
Hey, girls! Loved the ball cap! From the “Buckeye girl down south!” 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Kim!!!!! Just stay south so Brenda doesn't know about it...
Beautiful basket, Beautiful sweater, talented mothers talented beautiful daughters 🙆♀️💜💜💜👍
Thank you so much Debra!!! Hugs!
Thank you so much Holly!!!! Welcome to stitching!!! You are in for a lot of fun!!!
I bought the same one for my birthday. It is beautiful work from wool work.
Isn't it thought????? Glad you got one Linda!
Love, love your floss tube . You are sooo funny and charming. Thank you so much .
Thank you so much Diane!!
I love Under the Woolen Willow. I joined the club also, so much fun all of her items on Etsy are adorable.
She is a genius and her stuff is gorgeous!!!! Glad you joined the club Debbie!
Take care
Thank you Renee!!!!!! Your Alice sampler will be beautiful on that linen. Love your story about travel and what and what not to bring home!
I'm glad you're feeling better Brenda and that your stitching mojo is back. I have Black dog sampler kitted and need to start it ASAP. I made a stitching pillow from the flea market fabric. I love that fabric and your bag looks awesome.
Thanks so much Elizabeth!!!!! Love everything you are talking about!
Great video again ladies! So glad you are feeling better Brenda!
Thank you Julie!!!
Thanks for the laughter! Glad that you have a strong friendship!
Thank you Chelle!!!
Gulp. Lol
I hope that your eye doctor appointment was helpful and that you can stitch again to your heart's content Cindy!!!!! Hugs!!!!
That is hilarious Lynn!!!!!! And thank you for your kind words!
Glad you got your mojo back Brenda. I can't wait to see what else is in your trunk. I always find if fun to thumb through patterns and projects. Have a blessed week ladies 🌻

Thanks Shelia!!! Hope you are getting in some good stitching!
Thank you so much Lynnette!!!!!
Thank you Doreen!!! Yes, dip that toe in the Gigi R pool!!!!!!!
You two are an absolute riot! Just love you both.
Thank you so much Susan!!!!! Hugs~
Hello ladies!! So glad your feeling better Laura, and Brenda I love your sweater. When you showed the piece 3 girls flying kites, I also made this piece many years ago and is in my daughter's bedroom. ❤

Thank you so much Gary!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 it is actually Diedre. My husband and I share the account.
I have beige from week on the old base - the closest DMC comparison is 822 and does warm into 813 as well. Have fun looking in your stash!
Thank you for that information Sharla!!!
That is so cool!!!!!! and Jessie with silks!!! You are living right girl!
You are definitely not alone....as long as I am around - you will not be alone!!!! Glad you are having fun with stash!
Thank you Nancy!!! Hugs!!!
Yay for the mojo coming back, Brenda! And Laura - loved hearing what made you switch from one pattern to another. You’re too funny! -Sheri
Thanks Sheri!!!!!!
Enjoyable video. So glad you are doing better Brenda and your stitchy bug is coming back. Your welcome on the valentines goodies enjoy. Blessings my stitchy friends
Thanks for another wonderful video!
Thank you Linda!!!
