You're going to like this show, not only is it very well written, it has heart, good action and the violence and gore is not overused for shock value, but to emphasize the scale of the battles and what's at stake, that's why that there isn't much blood in the at first, no one is in immense danger at that moment, but in "that scene" and after, shit got real.
Yeah I love it so far it's nothing like I thought it would be, I already love the mom son relationship and I thought I liked the father son relationship but now I'm kinda worried for Mark hahaha this show is just alot more deep than I thought it was gonna be
So this is based on a comic by Robert Kirkman creator of the Walking Dead which is why Mark aka Invincible is voiced by Steven Yeun who was Glenn in the live action Walking Dead series and the entire Guardians of the Globe was voiced by cast members of TWD.
On the question at 6:22 - One of the reasons they were interested in earth is they are an abnormally good genetic match with humans, despite having a human mother Mark is like less than 1% human.
I always love reactions to this episode. It starts like it's some copyright safe Justice League and ends like it's a Saw movie. Absolutely incredible television. I hope you love it lol
The Guardians of the Globe and Omni-Man are based on DC superheroes: Guardians of the Globe = Justice League Omni-Man = Superman The Immortal = no parallel character from DC but could be seen as either based on Black Adam or Superman Darkwing = Batman War Woman = Wonder Woman Martian Man = Martian Manhunter Red Rush = The Flash Green Ghost = Green Lantern Aquarus = Aquaman
Immortal is more like heroic version of Vandal Savage a DC villian + some of golden age superman powers, he's actually filling the superman role on the team instead of omni-man
Green Ghost has absolutely nothing in common with the Green Lanterns except her suit’s color. Her closest analog would be Shadow Cat from X-Men. I don’t know of a comparable DC hero As for Omni-Man… sure we’ll go with that. For now…
@@alexanderren1097 Robert Kirkman, in his author notes for Invincible: The Ultimate Collection, Volume 1, explains that he went with these archetypes because he had only 18 pages to get the reader to care for the characters before their brutal deaths.
Viltrumites are kind of a mix between sayians from dbz and superman. Mark right now is at his weakest, even at the end of season one he's basically a baby viltrumite. The more damage he takes, the more fighting he does and pushes himself the stronger he becomes.
This show and The Boys show what would happen if people with those powers actually fought. Its brutal and horrific, Marvel and DC hold back a lot of gore when it would be the most likely outcome of these type of fights
I was spoiled, so it didn't surprise me. I'm actually glad, though. My weak constitution couldn't have handled seeing that without knowing. That said, I hope you enjoy the rest of the season.
@@DeashasAlwaysWatching oh that sucks. I mean I get it. You gotta try to do something to grow. But IDK if reducing your content available is a solid strategy to increase viewership. At least part of the problem is just that episode 3 and 4 are weak. I have literally watched over 35+ channels react to this show, and for every single one of them, episodes 3, 4, and 6 have less than half the views of the other episodes. I think it you had stuck it out for one more episode, 5 would've probably done better than 3 and 4 combined, but obviously that's pure speculation. Anyway, best of luck with the channel!
Idk it kinda threw me off too lol, but i think people just do it to cement themselves in the main characters shoes, that way they can understand their decisions better and really feel what the character is feeling, but idk haha
Tbf anything that wasn't in the first episode is a spoiler to me, I've seen no comics or trailers for this so I don't know anything. But luckily I have already watched up to episode 3 on my Patreon so I did know about the trashbag :)
This has one of the most record scratch WTF moments of any show I've ever watched. Man.
I know!!! It was so crazy :)

I think she's gonna like every part of this apart from amber. Everybody hates Amber.
This show is definitely a wild ride. Looking forward to future reactions.
I'm so hyped to see what's to come!

I love that you edited helmeppos laugh in absolute gold
I love his laugh 😂
Only the greatest open mouthed laugh in modern media
Helmeppo laugh is key!
Great reaction. Invincible is a very enjoyable show, excited for season 2.
That Helmeppo edit was golden lmao
Hahah thank you I love his laugh so much
I love this show so much I'm happy you're reacting to it!
Me too, I wish I didn't wait so long lol

Ohh let’s go!
It’s a really good show. Happy to see you enjoyed it
D: "Is this for children?"
Everybody watching: "Oh, you sweet summer child!" 🫂
Hahah I was not prepared
“So far nothing too wild has happened”
Me: oh man 😳
The empathy of referring to others as "us" is incredibly endearing.
Great reaction to a great series. I look forward to watching your next one.
Thank you :)
@@DeashasAlwaysWatching You are always welcome Deasha.
Invincible is pretty awesome. Robert Kirkman must be loaded now with this and walking dead
Yeah I just watched @MovieFusion react to this and he mentioned this was from Robert Kirkman, that's so cool!
Nice reaction. I liked and subbed for your Invincible journey. I think you will enjoy it.
Feels like a very Christmas-y shirt for a Halloween background, I kinda dig it 😂👍
It looks a bit christmasy but it's a Good Guy sweater from Child's Play :)

I can't wait :)
What happened? Did you decide not to watch the rest after episode 4?
The videos weren't doing well on TH-cam so the rest of the season is on Patreon :)
