i have the same car but mine is a 1990 bmw 535i and today i replaced my driver side window by myself following your instruction and i did it successfully. This as saved me money because i was thinking to take it to ( Broco glass) is a local shop that fix and replaced windshield here in surrey british columbia canada. Thank you so much for posting this video,it really help a lot, i was pulled over by a police officer who asked me to roll down my driver side window,the glass is broken inside. he insist to have it fix a soon a possible as warning...lol

That e34 door card/panel is like the worst part of the car. That cardboard will disintegrate at the slightest chance it gets.

The way those e34 door panels are mounted are a royal pain in the ass. I had to pull mine off to grease the locking mechanism.
What color do you have ? Glanz-, diamant- or cosmos schwarz ?
