Decided to keep things simple with this kit. It's most likely going to be my only Vidar so I thought I'd keep things fairly close to the original colors. I wanted to do a pale blue color scheme but I couldn't find the correct color at the shop so I went with Mica Blue instead. I think it looks cool!
Also, for all of you who kept wondering why I didn't have a review for the HG Vidar.. well I guess now you know! 😉

TYPE V3 did you spray mica blue on to the blue parts just like that or you prime it with silver paint then you spray with mica blue?
No priming here. Paint on plastic.
Blue was from tamiya. Everything else was either Testors or Krylon.
Didn't hand brush anything. If I can avoid hand brushing, I will - I absolutely hate painting.
What brand is that amazing metallic red that you use?!

Like yeah I assume they'll make master grades for the IBO gundams at some point, however, what can they really improve on? the 1/100 IBO's are just missing decals and an opening cockpit. That aside, they're basically master grades.
I think they would just need more parts for color seperation and better plastic
The inner frame can be greatly improved imo. After about a month they get pretty rickety and delicate feeling
Maybe some improved articulation and a more sturdy build? I kind of agree with what you said but I'm sure Bandai will find some way to improve upon the design of the current IBO kits and turn them into cool master grades. Who knows?

For those of you who kept on asking him questions (you know he'll not do it, why are you still asking?), ZakuAurelius, jabbman025, kakarot197,rrobert184, Prime92, and Mechagaikotsu are the other TH-cam Channels that review Gunplas. Sure TYPE V3 is a good reviewer (better than Prime92 and Mechagaikotsu in my opinion), but he only reviews Gunpla that he likes. Don't just stick to one guys.

ZakuAurelius' reviews are way too long. It's like he's in love with his own voice or something. His tutorials are tolerable, at least.
Prime92 is the one who reviews all of gunpla. Original or bootleg She will get all of them.

Your enthusiasm for this kit fuels the fire I have for the design. It's probably my favorite Gundam frame in all of IBO next to Lupus and Flauros.
I still prefer the Lupus but the Vidar is the better kit.

I love this kit. I just finished building mine last night. All I need to do is touch up spots where I cut them from the parts tree. I love these Full Mechanics kits. I also have Barbatos Lupus in this same 1/100 scale.
Nice paintjob as always! I suddenly got an inspiration to buy this and 1/100 Kimaris (the first one) and build Gaogaigar-looking mobile suit. I would probably call it "Brave Gundam"
There _is_ a Brave. It's from the _Gundam 00_ movie, but it doesn't look like you want it to.

so you've already stated that you have no interest in it but we're dying to see how you detail your models. the paint always looks so good in your videos and I really want to get into it because of what I've seen here.
I love the way you paint your gunpla. You should do a small tutorial on painting especially the way you did the BAEL it looks amazing.

I guess that's for this sized kit, The HG Ver. Is able to use this as for support you can use the Blade holsters for a stand arm or base replacement, I have tried it with the HG that's why I am informing :3

Gundam ibo is the only Gundam series that had realistic weapon
Just because ibo doesn't have much beam weapons that doesn't mean It's more "realistic"
@@suncanny1418 yep², but compare to most of the MSG series, i can say "yes it's more realistic". i would love to see more MSG series with these type of weapons. i need more physical weapon in MSG, because "beam" is kinda boring, imo

SHIT! They look so freaking cool, excellent job you put out there, bro! The custom job you did look fantastic, almost made them like metal die-cast figures. I never painted my Gundam figures (only panel line them with markers) so they never look as realistic as yours.
How do you paint them? This looks so great! I would really like to custom mine like these.

Those leg blades are just an awesome concept. Pair that with the pile bunker knees of the Graze Ein and this would've been a close combat monster.

I don't know why, but out of all the IBO kits, I'm most interested in Gaelio Bauduin's suits.

one recurring thing with 1/100 ibo kits the T bar, the hollow part always snap at the universal joint in the leg of the kit all 3 Barbatoses

Would you recommend this kit for a semi beginner, I've only built the build burning, exia, kamikazes burning, and SD destiny gundam and prototype 2 gundam. Also I do tend to pick up my models and just kinda move them around a bit with poses so is this kit good for that kinda thing?
Master Genji most kits should be sturdy enough to handle light play.
By now you've built enough kits to know that they're all about the same difficulty. The only difference is the length of the build. This one will take a bit more time than a HG.
