Big Josher here's a few tips: When exploring you can quickly construct a living compartment to fully refill your oxygen. Saves you making tons of O2 capsules - T3 Vegetubes go outside - Remember you can deconstruct things so deconstruct chests once you've looted them to make life easier. If you're unsure of a build you can always deconstruct (looking at you T3 vegetube) - As you've figured you need to go ham on making heaters, vegetubes, etc. make sure you have a vegetube for every seed! Would recommend greatly ramping up production in all areas otherwise things will take forever! - O2 Seeds are really really valuable, collect all of them do not leave them behind. - Make the more advanced mining chips - The Reciever is important, build it and the transmissions screen ASAP. - Meteor showers occur to help refill resources on the ground. - You can use the door with arrow (below sort button) to move all items in or out of your inventory - Since aluminium (I refuse to say aluminum) is rare and you have an excess of iridum consider making the lower tier heater versions. You can always deconstruct later. Same principle applies power, O2 and pressure as well. Love the content and looking forward to more!
the t3 vegitube goes outside, its not a scuff making you build a drill. and for future if you're gonna have doubts like this, just build it, you can just deconstruct and get all the stuff back.
TIP In the most constructive way this series is going to take 20000 hours if you don’t start making more terraforming stations (drill, planter,heater) the moment you have a seed for a planter (so valuable u left loads at the place you looted) make a planter moment heaters are harder cause they require aluminium. Also go and fill ur chests when u get empty cause limping along is so frustrating to watch Also put ur food seeder by the front door and move the planter for my sanity T3 vegi tubes go outside this will happen a lot where u get confused just build and deconstruct if any doubts Make a chest for ice as well u need it more than iron
If you hold ctrl while crafting, it won't close the screen and you can spam craft things. This will be very important later when you are crafting 10 items at a time. Also the fusion reactor is much more late game. Once you unlock the crafting recipe for the fusion energy cells, it will open more rooms in the ship.
I'm so happy you are finally playing this game. Genuinely one of my favourite games. It has such an addicting gameplay loop and seeing you experience it for the first time makes me happy too

The smoke falling down the wall has a cave under it. N look for the gold crates. Hint. there's one under a lil rock bridge over a small valley near your camp n first wreck you went too and look around near the big wreck at the top of hill. N don't for get to destroy creat once empty

When Josh confuses a veg with a drill and doesn’t realise they are different shapes and the fact it goes outside to create outside oxygen/Breathable atmosphere he makes me shout at my screen a lot ngl
its a bit of a weird one but i'd love to see josh do a Project Zomboid series. Its one of the hardest most in depth zombie survival games i have ever played
Love this series but it gets so annoying with things like josh6 not realising the T3 tube obviously went outside or that he's still not built the T2 exoskeleton and even when he remembered he let's himself get so easily distracted he doesn't do it.

You can build multiple bases.....think Main base + various Oxygen Oasis

You can build a living quarters and door anywhere on the map to refill oxygen easily so you don't need as many oxygen capsules
