Absolutely loving your playthrough so far, it's so relaxing and fun to watch! Here's some tips that might make playing a little easier though:
1. JETPACK. It will make travelling SO much faster and also allow you to reach some higher places more easily when exploring.
2. Beans are good to grow for food, they refill your health much more than eggplants do.
3. Satellites and other rockets can be made in the launch platform.
4. Try putting golden seeds in your top tier O2 producers so they are maximized.
5. Sometimes the game glitches out when placing things and it says that everywhere is invalid, in that case just close the build and try rebuilding it.
6. You don't need to wait for more rain for water collectors, they collect at a set rate from the atmosphere.

The fact that Josh is still making gaming videos even when they don’t get many views makes it clear that he is dedicated to pumping out content
With somebody like me who has 350+hours on planet crafter I have to say(“you will need to move your base to a higher point I recommend near the iridium cave north of your base, the reason is water levels will rise at a certain point in terraformation and at this point you should have a message informing u that with the message screen and the satellite

The big living compartment doesn't have the 4 annoying walls in the middle it gives you a open space, after a while the texture on the openings to the compartments get a little jarring and also better for organizing storage.... also i wonder how a satellite would be "launched" < this is important for progression > get the message screen..... ooooo mushrooms

Nuclear energy is great to use.
Its one of the cleanest ways of producing energy and it gives us large amounts of energy compared to other resources.
Its basically just another way to boil an amount of water to let some turbines spin.
Loving this game. It's such a relaxing watch. Keep this series going.

Love this series ! Glad your playing this game, its incredible ! Just remember that with rain comes lakes, you NEED to move your base before then or youll be underwater with where it currently is, that becomes a huge lake. Also if you CTRL + Click it moves all of that item into the storage instead of clicking one at a time
it's the ice melting that causes the lakes not the rain :)

Yo im playing the game myself and im just asking people that have played the game, is it intended to just fly over the mountains to get to past the caves with the ice that needs to melt. I found a lot of ores i cant even use and found out a lot about the lore. Cause i dont think im supposed to get there yet
And also the wardens key thingy, i found it and the numbers which i think are coordinates. Should i go to the coordinates noe or should i jidt progress the game first. Dont want to get spoiled but i think its a very endgame thing or something

Loving the series!! Make sure you move your base to a high altitude as it will soon get completely flooded. Once something gets submerged, you CANNOT USE IT, DECONSTRUCT IT, OR MOVE IT so make sure to move it before that happens.
Also, ore extractor is a game changing tool, it is area specific so be sure to make one in every unique area to get their specific ores for example if you put it in that dark aluminium area, it will collect aluminium, if you put it in that iridium cave, you will collect iridium. So be sure to place one of those in every such location once you have enough materials. It will save you a lot of time mining, letting you explore more.
So many spoilers....It slowly will start filling up, let him experience the game naturally. It's not like it just floods overnight you have so much time to move once the game shows you the water forming...

Josh I currently downloaded the game as you’ve made me wanna play it. I’ve got slightly ahead of you by this point and still wondering why you haven’t created more doors in your building rather than running halfway round. I’m building an upstairs really helps with minimising the space
Along the big rock walls where you first start ( so behind you) there's a secret room where the rock is like smooth and you have to deconstruct the wall piece. As well you started talking about finding gold chests in this video n you were meters away from one that's on top of that ship.

When you were checking the ship for the golden chest, you didn't look around well enough. One big spot you didn't check. Also there IS fall damage so getting the jetpack is very important. Also the meteor showers can kill you if they hit you as well. (Some of the meteor showers are different than the normal aluminum ones, so if you see any different colors in the sky, you want to go check the spot where the meteors landed because they will have rare resources that will despawn quickly)

you should make a ore collecter in the place where that aluminium spawns and should try and see if you can put one in the caves where the osmium is
You need a t2 extractor to harvest osmium :)
Great series but you are missing out on the story line. Communication antenna and messages screen should be the priority
Nothing is useless in this game literally take everything you find you will need it
When ur out an about y don’t u try to build stuff an just put in where the materials are instead of leaving it there build like a grass spreader or a pressure one
You need to move your base location because that area will soon become a lake
Also put ore extractors in areas with more rare ores, near your base is a waste of it
And builds can be anywhere in the world and still work they dont need to be cramped to your base
