Chiefs have only Pacheco, coming off an ankle/foot injury. He's great, but no depth at the position; their RB2 drops off in performance. The 49ers have a better run offense (#1 rushing efficiency), not only with the league's #1 RB, but RB2 Elijah Mitchell would be RB1 on most other NFL teams, and RB3 Jordan Mason is a wrecking ball averaging 5.3 yds/rush and would be an easy RB2 on any team. Oh, and there's also Deebo, and also Brock's legs. I think the 49ers have a better chance at stopping the Chief's run game than the Chiefs chances stopping the 49er run game. Whoever establishes the run game will have the advantage of controlling the clock, keeping the other QB off the field and be better able to dictate game flow since they'll be able to prosecute a more balanced, complementary offense (i.e., sprinkle in pass plays against run defense formations).
