I've been thinking about this very same model. One thing pops to mind: Is it possible to remove the sump by removing the end paneling or by some other way when the aquarium is in place?

Both ends have a removable door you can pull out for access but it is not big enough to remove the sump. The three doors in front has a center brace which could be removed and that’ll give you enough room to pull out the sump. The frame is aluminum but I am not sure how important that brace is for weight support. That’s be a good question to ask WB support. I think I’ll throw it into the WB Facebook group and see what comes back.

So the general consensus is we wouldn’t recommend removing that brace. I was hoping WB support would have stepped up and commented but this is based on feedback back from the group.

@@REEFHUB-Offical Yeah, I definitely wouldn't go yanking the front braces from under a fully loaded tank. I would probably see if I could hack into either end of the base or alu weld new legs there so I could get the sump out of the end. In short, I wouldn't mind if it didn't look perfect if I could get in there.
It's a problem with pretty much all larger "factory" tanks novadays. And a pet peeve of mine, ever since took part in tearing down a beautiful two year old sps tanks whose owner managed to damage the sump while doing maintenance.
I didnt agree with his decision, I would've probably taken the sump out in pieces and built a new one in situ, but he wanted a factory solution..

@@TeeFunkable ya I know what you mean. I wish tank manufacturers took these type of things into consideration when building a frame for larger tanks.
