It’s only September right now. I can’t wait till Lenten Season. For all my childhood & as a lukewarm Catholic, Christmas was my favorite season. Now, my favorite is Lent. So many reasons to love Lent, even- for me, the dreaded fasting. Hearing Fr Jacob sing the songs of the Passion so beautifully make my heart ache for longing of Jesus. How truly rich our Catholic Faith is, when even the songs we sing are powerful enough to stir the aching longings in our souls. I listen to this particular video on repeat, just to hear the songs being sung.
All doctrine unique to the Catholic church is unnecessary if Christ's sacrifice is complete. If Christ's sacrifice was perfect and he took away all sin past, present, and future than... Penance has no purpose. Purgatory has no point. Absolution is unnecessary. Need I go on? Yes, Christ's sacrifice on the cross is complete and Final. The Bible confirms this repeatedly. Flee this Anti-church. Trust In Christ Alone. Trust in him alone like you would trust a parachute. You can add nothing to a parachute by flapping your arms. Just as you can add nothing to the perfect and finished sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for all of your sins. Do not cheapen the saviors work by adding mans tradition on to it. Find a church that does not withhold the drinking of the wine from its lowly non-priest membership.
No ifs and no buts and please do not go on! Psalm 96 1.2 1. Sing to the LORD a new song;a sing to the LORD, all the earth. 2. Sing to the LORD, bless his name; I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations” (Psalm 89:1). Psalms 132:9 9 May your priests be clothed with your righteousness; may your faithful people sing for joy.’ ” I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live” (Psalm 104:33). How many times does God command us to sing? The word sing appears in the scriptures over 400 times and at least 50 are commands. Singing is not adding or taking away from the Great Sacrifice Our Lord Jesus Christ suffered for us. It is a form of prayer.

That's a strange response, Lori, I didn't tell anyone not to sing.
