  • I discovered this lovely multi pocket through watching one of Gayle Agostinelli's videos which I'll list below, this is yet another way to use up some of those 12"x12" craft pads.

Such a great addition for a signature. My sister came over today and we made the cereal box junk journal and listened to your pleasant voice all afternoon. Next week we are making the manilla envelope junk journal and maybe we will add in one of these little pockets too. Thank you for being such a terrific teacher. We appreciate these videos so much! :)

I've seen Gayle's version but I love the shortened version best. What a great idea you had! Thank you for sharing this vid. I must say that I'm a little jealous of your ability to come up with other ways of accomplishing things.

TFS another gorgeous project! I discovered your channel sometime last week and have been binge watching ever since. I appreciate your detailed and precise explanations as you complete each step, and that you also include the “why” of what you do. At the end of the video I always feel as though I can actually replicate whatever you have demonstrated. As another crafter who also fights with sticker backings, I say “Bravo!”

Another great video! I have been thinking about you and your baskets that organize you. I tried to do the same thing with pretty white gift boxes. Lol. It didn’t work. The lid was too hard to get off the boxes and they were too small for the papers I wanted next to me when I crafted. My desk is not big enough for me when I’m making journals. So, I went on Amazon and ordered 6 iris letter sized boxes. I can leave the lids just sitting on the boxes so I can stack them next to me and I can clip them shut when I want to store them. Ha! Another plan comes together! They arrive tomorrow. My craft room looks like a tornado hit it. I can’t function enough in there to do any collage or decorate. I love these ideas. Honestly, the things you and Gayle come up with! I really love the blue cardstock with the Kraft on the other side of the paper. What a gorgeous shade of blue. Thank you for the video. Hugs, treen 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Versatile pockets for sure. I like the zig-zag look, especially on the condensed version using the 5" & 7" measurements. It's very striking, but maybe that's due to the paper you used.TFS! ~Marci

I will gain understanding upon watching your pleasantly voiced videos❣️ (None of that hollow voiced echoing or gawaad-awful music backgrounds - Thanks!)

Thank you Dianne and welcome, in a nut shell junk journals originally were a way of using pages, envelopes, old documents and any junk mail that came through your door and making a journal from them that you could then use them to stick items in or write memories in as if it were a journal, they cost very little to make and were a good way of using what was free around you.

What a smart little pocket! I guess it would be smarter to cut the 8:4 pocket and then cut off the bottom which could be used as another pocket rather than cutting the big piece of paper 5:4. Seems you would waste paper in the middle of the page...but, maybe not. I really do not have a good mental visual of the paper. I guess I'll have to draw it out to see!!! LOL!!!! Thank you for sharing this tutorial!!!!!!
