    This is what the video says:
    - Shake Bottle and pour either directly into radiator via radiator cap or into coolant reservoir.
    - One full bottle for 6/8/10 cylinder, 1/2 bottle for 4 cylinder.
    - Replace cap and start vehicle. Allow to idle for ~15-30 minutes with fans and heat on high. Don't do this in an enclosed area!

    What's the purpose of blasting the heat and fan on high? Does this aid in moving the product through the heater core so it doesn't clog anything there? I'd LOVE for this product to work but I'm apprehensive for this one factor before I buy and try it.

    • @BarsleaksUSA
      @BarsleaksUSA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the reason is so that you get good flow through your heater core. If installed in a clean cooling system at proper dosage you will have no restriction issues. If you have not flushed with a cooling system flush product in the last 30-40 thousand miles you will want to flush before adding the product. • @BarsleaksUSA
      @BarsleaksUSA  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Add one bottle for 5, 6, 8 and 10 cylinder engines. Use 1/2 bottle in 3 and 4 cylinder engines. One bottle treats cooling systems from 10 quarts (2.5 gallons) to 16 quarts (4 gallons). Use 1/2 bottle for cooling systems from 6 quarts (1.5 gallons) to 9.9 quarts (2.4 gallons). For larger systems use one bottle for every 3 gallons of cooling system capacity. Small engines or other small systems use 4 to 5 fluid ounces per gallon of fluid capacity.

    Say if your car is not leaking until your start running your AC or HEATER? Seems like that’s the only thing that drains my fluid out. I put this stuff in there & no drip but I thought the car was just to run idle or drive it only (that’s what it said on the bottle) but when I watched & cut the heater on full blast that’s when I started getting small drips that eventually got to a small puddle.. maybe I should’ve kept the heater off & let it circulate on its own?

We're a family owned business that's been around for over 70 years helping people fix their leaks, as a matter of fact we've been installed on the factory assembly line as a preventative measure since the 50's. We do agree that sometimes the hard fix is the only way to go, but for some customers that's not an option due to the age of the vehicle or cost of repair. As long as the system is clean we can safely pass through without clogging. Thanks for stopping by Mark.

      Hi Anthony thank you for your comment. As a family run company since 1947 we take comments like these very seriously. Cooling systems that are dirty or partially clogged should always be flushed prior to use of our products. Most of the time people assume that just draining and replacing coolant is sufficient to achieve this, however that's not the case. Over time scale, rust, and even dirt can accumulate in the very narrow passages of radiators and heater cores restricting flow. We constantly test, and monitor our products to make sure we are able to flow through these passages unrestricted. If you would like to speak to our tech support team on this issue they are available M-F 8am-5pm EST, and can be reached at 800-345-6572. Thanks again for the comment.
