  • Before & After results testing Bar's Permanent cooling system block Seal intake and radiator stop leak on a Radiator with a significantly large leak. As in the past we have reviews of Bars radiator stop leak concentrate or check out bars cooling system repair plus k-seal , Titan head gasket sealer, automotive stop leaks to find the best radiator stop leak.
How to use bars stop leak just follow the instructions of the manufacturer. Blue devil stop leak is another product you can see for yourself and always follow the product manufacturers and car manufacturers instructions before you attempt anything seen or you hear in my videos. Can cooling system stop leak cause damage your car engine?

I've used a couple raw eggs and about half cup of pepper in a few different squirting radiators. The egg cooks and scrambles in the hot antifreeze and the pepper will swell up to five times its size. Both the egg and pepper mix will coagulate wherever it's pissing from and seal up the leak. Smells like breakfast when you pop your radiator cap 😂😂 swear to god it works

Great video. Bars leak saved me when someone hit and run the front end of my car and the busted radiator wouldnt hold any coolant whatsoever. The big key is if you are gonna take the radiator out to weld it or try and find leaks and leak area is found, then just replace the doggone thing. You already did the hard work of removing it.
Any vehicle with a good engine and good frame plus limited corrosion is worth working on.
Used car prices are too much.

back passenger corner? I had 2 SL1s that both leaked coolant exterior of the head gasket on back passenger corner and 1 had a external oil leak from the head gasket in between cyl 3 and 4 but compression was fine, so never touched it. I was surprised to see the oil leak coming from the head gasket, no idea what caused it, obviously the oil is not pressurized when bleeding back into the crank case. Saturns were beasts, Slow as all hell but if I remember right GM literally stopped making the proprietary engines because it was better than the 2.2/2.4..... Of course they don't replace the 2.2/2.4s with the 1.9 SOHC/DOHC, they stop making the 1.9s. Couldn't have used the timing system GM? No what did those motors run for 15 years? Never got the timing chain issue fixed 😁

Block sealants are really only a temporary repair, the only real fix is to fix the engine. Damage can result over the long term; a block sealant, i.e., Blue Devil, K W Block seal, etc may work in the short term and as such, is okay. But, they can also clog heater cores cause water pump problems etc. FYI -- I used KW Block seal (in the copper coloured can-- )on customers vehicle's for over 40+ years with good results. The trick with KW Block seal or any related product is to follow the instructions to the letter. Don't try and rush or shortcut the process; success or failure depends upon patience and effort.

I commented on your video from 4 years ago and immediately following the comment, I saw this video haha. Much better. I used this for a small head gasket leak I believe. It's a turbocharged 4cyl Cobalt SS and it worked awesome..... Until I got comfortable that it worked after a few weeks and got into boost. Later that day and following, symptoms gradually came back and nothing seems to work after. So take from it what you will but if I had a naturally aspirated engine I would like to think it would have been semi permanent at least haha

On a blown head gasket you have to use pure 100% sodium water glass not any of the store products. Don't use Blue devil either. It's only 30% sodium water glass and blue food coloring.

I've used it for a 99 Ford f250 super duty with the 6.8 V10 gasser. It lasted a fairly long time, about 8 months until I pulled a heavy load. Honestly I wasn't to surprised when it stopped working under the extra exertion from pulling 10k. That's a bit much to ask of anything meant to be a temp fix and for a cost of under $10. Had I not pulled a heavy load, I have no doubt it would still be working.

Thanks buddy, great video. Question, will this work with leaking coolant, the last two times that I've filled my coolant reservoir, it's emptied itself out, and it seems to be mixing with an oil leak as well too?? Just was curious how this would do with coolant hoses running from the coolant reservoir, and also the reservoir itself, as well too. Was wondering if this would seal those issues up? Get it repaired, dont use this crap. It might stop the leak now but will cause its own brand of issues in a year or two. Why crap like this continues to be sold when it ruins vehicles is the big question. Either weld or replace the fricken radiator or hose.

Anyone using this product in place of a repair is only creating more problems in the future. It will clog up your cooling system. Any cooling system “stop leak crap” should only be used for emergencies, like getting back to town. Then repair your vehicle properly. Or you could just put eggs in your cooling system. Works the same and is easier to flush out

Yeah I think there are times where you are absolutely correct. Also I believe in a specific situation like the vehicle not being worth repairs on the block or similar price situation it may be ok to use.
