My beloved uncle was KIA 21 September, 1967 (Con Thien) and it makes my heart happy to see these warriors who survived and give us the unvarnished truth about their experiences. God Bless America 🇺🇸
I found these sogcast stories a few years ago when mr styker first came of jockos podcast. Ive been hooked ever since. Ive tried to dig up every interview, podcast, documentary ever since. Truly amazing what you guys did. And i dont want to leave out my respect for your indig. My hats off to all you guys. I served 2 tours in Afghanistan as a combat engineer. And i feel absolutely humbled by the things you gentleman and warriors dud in your time. Nothing but respect
You know I really love listening to these stories and I find myself smiling and like happy when I hear them but then I reflect back on all the people that died it's like my mind won't let me forget as those men were being shot to Pieces how they felt
We were soldiers, and young glad they made it out to tell the story. I graduated high school in 75 and thought I would be headed that way when I was a little younger
I remember T-10. MC-1 was only just being integrated with a very limited group. Also the real performance canopy for Sky Diving was the ParaCommander. I only have 45 minutes of free fall before my ETS.
My Uncle who is now deceased was Force Recon of that time period. I never asked him about his time and he only share maybe 3 times . He said that they walked on his chest.
I want to buy these books on audible, but unsure if they include graphics. So many of these SOG casts describile have rare photos of these crews which I'd like to see. The secrecy of these missions and bases prohibited pictures for obvious reasons. Can anyone confirm they have graphics?
Yeah, there's an issue with mixing. The right channel is hard to hear at first but it's there, just lower volume. I hope it gets fixed for the next episode. The same with the previous episode...
Sometimes life is like a freeway.., you're traveling along then suddenly you take that off ramp. A few things done, then you're off again. This man was extremely lucky in many regards. They both mentioned Dick Meadows who I met twice while he was running/supporting DEA operations in Peru. I don't know if these men will be in Heaven, but II do know Satan does not want then in Hell..
Walked into another ambush, gathered what I could. I want to hope it's the good guys, but the good guys aren't sloppy and they don't make things personal. I've got devices now and things that need finger print analysis. The MAN that did this are Not *WELL.
Tough as nails. I'm glad these guys are still here today to share their stories.
Agreed
Absolutely
It's actually unfortunate for them to see their generation's men...now this generation.......not............real......men.....

God Bless America 🇺🇸
My Uncle Mike was a Green Beret in Macv SOG. My other uncle describes him as a hell raiser and one bad dude. Thank you all for your service.
It's a genuine contribution to American History to have these conversations recorded and publicly available in such great audio/video. Thanks Tilt!
A New S O G cast. The perfect thing to finish a long day. Thank you Tilt, Thank you Jocko.

Mr Meyer sir.... I read the book Chickenhawk many many years ago... A great read for sure 👍👌
Chickenhawk is a brilliant extremely well told story
Such a good honest account of time in Vietnam, crazy to read about what those pilots put their Hueys through!
Thank you once again Mr. Meyer for another great SOG cast ! These men's stories need to be told they are all hero's !!
Nice to see another Byrne out there doing great things!
Love EVERYTHING you guys do...i mean everything........except the audio of the SOG cast🤙😎🤙 and as always.....thanks for your service
RIP “Mad Dog” Shriver. Gone but not Forgotten!!!
Great to watch these on TH-cam. I listen on my apple podcast app every time a new one comes out, but it’s so awesome to see these guys.
Great stuff ! I can listen to these guys for hours. My father was a B 52 pilot and he had a lot of interesting stories about the war.
It's so cool reading the books, and then putting faces to the names.
Great stuff gentlemen!! Thank you for sharing

Has to be one of the best sogcast episodes
Great interviews. Keep em coming Tilt. Love it.

The seatings getting comfier 🤣🤣
Haha yep.

Hope some of this is in a book somewhere .Thank you Guys.
What an impressive dude!
Amazing series from amazing men
These men have GREAT recollection on their lives,
But I recon I would to ...
Can't think of anything else to say.
Blessings to you all.
My grandfather was at Da Nang (from April to June). He was a pilot with the 20th TASS. I would love to talk to this gentleman
Well you are one of the only ones on here that didn’t have a grandpa, dad, uncle cousin, or something of the sort that was a SOG super badass
I've noticed over numerous podcasts that Tilt's memory for dates is like a computer.
Yea, me too. Amazing guy. So glad I stumbled onto the saga of SOG Warriors. Unbelievable true stories.!
It's a genuine contribution to American History to have these conversations in perfect audio/video. Can't get enough of em
Let's hear about visits to the pink house for R&R....
Audio works on headphones left side only, anyways thank you for another quality video!
God bless you both
2 American legends guys like this is why our sf community's so good
when I saw the thumbnail I thought they put a filter on Jocko‘s face so he looks older
Awesome stuff
My Uncle who is now deceased was Force Recon of that time period. I never asked him about his time and he only share maybe 3 times . He said that they walked on his chest.
Thanks for the great storys
I don't know if anyone has information on Force Recon I think 1970 and 1971 he has since passed but his sisters are still alive.
I want to buy these books on audible, but unsure if they include graphics. So many of these SOG casts describile have rare photos of these crews which I'd like to see. The secrecy of these missions and bases prohibited pictures for obvious reasons. Can anyone confirm they have graphics?
Great show and funny sarcastic moments 🤣
Question. What happened to the rest of the Ron Owens interview?
The last 2 video's are missing the right channel on the audio. Anyway to correct it?
Outstanding podcast
John and Jocko the audio is only playing in mono mode not stereo.
The left channel is louder than the right one. The same thing with the previous episode
Wonder if they served with Mad Dog Jerry Shriver...sog legend
Awesome podcasts and stories. Is the volume low for everyone or is it just my phone? I'm maxed out and still can barely hear some parts.
Who's been doing the final editing? Both the audio and video have been messed up these last few uploads.
epic, note; you exported with audio only one one side. love the podcasts
I thought I broke my headphones
@@mrmichael972 same
SOGCast has 31 episodes on Spotify. This episode is already 14 months available.
A shame!
Anybody else having a problem of this only playing out of one headphone , I ain't really trippin the stories are worth it i was just wondering
The left channel is noticeably louder than the right one. Just like with the previous SC episode
Stryker looked like a Hollywood actor back when he was young 😅I can't think of that actors name he reminds me off
“Ok…. 3 bags full”. 😂
Thank you for the stories. That "Dick Smear Test" story is classic. Mike is super cool.
Audio only from left channel.
Yeah, there's an issue with mixing. The right channel is hard to hear at first but it's there, just lower volume. I hope it gets fixed for the next episode. The same with the previous episode...
Awesome.

Very interesting.....
Awesome
GREAT
Every man must ask himself, when push comes to shove, how will I measure up to the old-timers?
Said he knew he was goin to hell, be there in about 15 minutes. I never knew what to make of that, I truly do not.
1:00:15 unreal humor out of tilt
Dude is jacked
With all due respect I have to say that Mr. O’Byrne look as if he was Jocko’s father!!
If we ever face an enemy tough as the Vietcong we are screwed. As long as we keep fighting Afghan goat herders we will be ok
Walked into another ambush, gathered what I could. I want to hope it's the good guys, but the good guys aren't sloppy and they don't make things personal. I've got devices now and things that need finger print analysis.
The MAN that did this are Not *WELL.
Funny, how obviously different their opinions of the Rona jab are.
🇺🇸🏴☠️
Michael kinda looks like an older Jocko
I NEED MORE VOLUME...OLD 😂
Real heroes that weren't allowed to be heroes. Sucks
They allow women in ranger school now...yes it's a sloch compared to what you great men went through
Fuckin A Brothers
