I might give that new Evoc vest/backpack and try - seems a nice inbetween option. I sometimes find the Hippack too small and constricting around my waist area and the backpack a little restrictive to movement as well...
@@ostankovalex1176 I don't see it, looks more like a life jacket to me. Anyway, there are lots of options for this style of vest pack now. I honestly just have water in mine and carry the rest on the bike.
5:24 Curious how the Michelin rubber performs, hopefully it has appropriate sole with great grip the Michelin tyres are known for. I had tried Northwave Multicross GTX, they had a sole called Vibram Fort William, it was horrible, too stiff for walking, it barely bent at the ball of the foot, and barely any grip, so foot slip off the pedals easily, unless I put the power down, pedalled or stood. They were warm and nice toe protection. Northwave might have something going if they have a proper sole. Hopefully not too big heel area.
@@vitalmtb that will likely mean it won't fit me as main stream brands don't fit me, I need to up size to 44 to get wif enough shoe to fit my pinkie toes as I have 11cm wide feet. But then toe protection is not protecting my toes properly, the shoes are too long. I hope my Anamoly shoes arrive soon. They are meant to be wider, I was reccomend size 9. I'm 44 with Fiveten, Ride concepts, they don't actually fit me properly. But I've yet to find the perfect winter shoe with gaiter that fits me. Trailcross Gtx has horrible toe protection, it's too soft, but it uses an adjustable gaiter with velcro strap. No zipper to damage. Good to walk in. Great grip.

Love the vest type packs. Functional and looks way less goofy than a full backpack.

The Michelin rubber is very good, as we stated in the review. Very different to the experience you describe with the other model.

@@mtbboy1993 the Anamoly shoes are indeed very roomy. The grip is not that great though... :-(
