    Mine turned up today. It was so easy to put together and it prints like a dream! So much faster than the older printers that I'm used to

    You can reduce waste by skipping prime tower, flush into infill, flushing into another object, changing filament change to 0.5, creating diff color object in parts and then sticking them using glue or connectors.

      Good tips! Thank you. Creating objects in parts and gluing really good idea.

    14:40 you are supposed to remove the build plate and bend it slightly to remove the print. also it has to be cooled down before removal.

    Speed is pointless if the quality of the final prints is bad. Yes, Bambu Lab rocks but Prusa is getting better again!

      @@3DPrintedProject way better community, the MK4 rocks quality wise. I wish the XL would be cheaper and believe me, I would sell my X1c and P1S and go Prusa only.

    i need a printer for my ındustrial design product prototype mockups and i really like the Bambu Lab a1 printer. is it okay to buy straightly the a1 ? or am i need to buy the combo version ? Actually i dont really need colorful prints is there any other differences ?

    • @3DPrintedProject
      @3DPrintedProject  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      When you buy the combo version they give you inside the box a single spool holder if you're wanting to just print single color.
      To be honest, personally I barely use the combo function, only rarely when I want to put few layers of colors for let's say adding letters to your prints.

      @@3DPrintedProject Thank you for your fast feedback. So if we don't include the multicolor print system and the holders, there is no difference am i right ? :) So i think i will buy the straight A1 version. thank you for your help bro have a nice day.

    Do you know if A1 mini is as good as a1 except it's smaller? I was gonna get resin printer but am worried about toxic fumes so i want to get filament printer instead. But i heard that the quality is not as good as resin :( I don't mind printing out in just one color.

    • @3DPrintedProject
      @3DPrintedProject  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, this is the same reason I haven't gotten resin printer also.
      Multi color wastes quite a bit of filament and you can easily just paint whichever models you're going after at lower cost.
      What I love about Bambu printers is the speed.
      If you are making miniatures I would still advise going for resin printer, but you got to have a place dedicated with dealing with it. I would not recommend your home as it's highly toxic and you don't want the pollutants floating inside your home.
      I just got this printer myself going from Ender 3 V2 Neo and I am in disbelief, i am literally looking at this printer make things that typically require lots of supports and it does it without.

    • @3DPrintedProject
      @3DPrintedProject  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would still recommend going for a bigger version, you will eventually encounter a print that will require more space.

    • @JoonKimDMD
      @JoonKimDMD หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@3DPrintedProject I think the risk of pollutant is greater than the benefit of going for resin. I am a dentist and I only print out dental model or just one section of mouth which is probably 1.5inch or less in width and less than 1 inch in height. Although accuracy is important, small visible layers of filaments or rough surface isn't going to matter much since my project usually require offset or a small amount of room/space between the printed model and whatever sits on top of it.

    • @JoonKimDMD
      @JoonKimDMD หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@3DPrintedProject Do you think filament prints have errors or discrepancies? Or do you recommend resin for miniatures just because they look smooth?

    • @3DPrintedProject
      @3DPrintedProject  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JoonKimDMD Smoothness for resin and yes filament prints have more problems. You're dealing with potential warping, stringing, layer shifting when it comes to FDM printers.
      I assume you're wanting to print out of dental models of your patients to showcase them what their issue is?
      You won't achieve that level of detail with an FDM printer, you can try sanding / polishing, priming the print, but that's just a lot of work.
      They do make resin printer enclosures that you can then setup a vent to outside. There are also air pollution detectors that can tell you the air quality in your space.
      To increase the quality of your FDM prints, you could try swapping out the nozzle for 0.2mm since most printers come with 0.4mm.
      Again based on what you're after, resin printing would be the way to go, but the fumes is a no no.

      @@3DPrintedProject FYI - the English is off in multiple spots which makes the AI voice sound worse. For example "Next we have is your printer's frame". That should be "Net we have your printer's frame" or "Next we have the printer's frame". The use of the word "is" in there is jarring.
      There were a couple of other instances like that where a word was off or just plain missing. If English is not your native language, hearing those mistakes in your voice would make them flow better/be understandable compared to the AI voice of an Englishman who shouldn't make those mistakes. So please consider this another thumbs up for using your own voice.
