    Hey madam . Love the videos . I wanted to get your thoughts on doing your articles at Shoprite vs a bank specifically ?
    I’m looking at applying for a Shoprite bursary and as they’re in top and have finance departments etc would like to know if I would be setting myself up for retail and finance roles in general . From my own research the trainees seem to immediately graduate into management at the Shoprite program so in terms of what you said for pay that bodes well for the program in that aspect . Please give your thoughts .

    Ill have to do a higher certifcate first to do the degree in accounting.
    1. Do you think its too late for me because of my age?
    2. How difficult will accounting be to learn and to be a CA if i wasnt too good in maths in highshool?

    You must have passion for this career. There is too much studying, completion of the competencies with such little money. You must really have the heart for it. ...not for me nope

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      But completion of competencies is easy if you doing your day to day job during articles. Nothing hard there. And not much money is only when you do your articles. Which is only 3 years and once you become a CA(SA) you are paid way above average for the rest of your life. So why would you decide not to go for it just because of 3 years? It's always better to have a long term view! CAs get paid well, that's a fact.

      don't other degrees have as much work as well?
      also, she started the video, making the point when it comes to remuneration.
      I'm a second year student this year. I respect your opinion but find it quite discouraging, esp looking at the work and journey. But I believe it'll all be worth it as she highlighted.
      It really just goes to show how much passion and determination play effect in our respective walks.
