- In this elden ring video I'm testing if any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can survive the broken but very cool unalloyed malenia mod.
To test this I upscaled all other bosses to NG+7 while leaving this incredibly overpowered Malenia mod to vanilla scaling which is more than enough.

Why do people say prime Malenia? Prime Malenia is her second health bar.
@@DuncanMaisonneuve-kk3vf on one hand she's definitely rotted away over time, but on the other yeah, she only becomes a true goddess after her third bloom. She's the one person whose "prime" is not in the past.
Prime Malenia is Goddess of Rot Malenia.
@LetMeCometHer First of all, I thought I heard somewhere that this was her third bloom. Second, she’s been rotting ever since she became the Scarlet Rot’s vessel.
@@DuncanMaisonneuve-kk3vf it is her third bloom, when she enters her second phase. Sorry if I worded it confusingly, I was agreeing with you, but also mentioning why people think her "prime" was long ago like everyone else.
The way Malenia dodges Rennala's comet at the start of the fight is too smooth. From running, to a backflip, to a mid-air twirl into the Waterfoul dance. Absolutely gorgeous
Rennala even throws her staff in anticipation of her landing but nope lol
The moonwalk after beating Godskin Duo after 8:47 is ice cold too 😂😂 Like Nah, duo fight, try trio

My personal headcanon is that he was holding back against her. He respected the effort she was putting into defeating him, so he let her have the victory.

I mean the fight was actually pretty close tho. Rick only needed 2 or 3 good hits to score the W.
Rick was only using 0.1 percent of his power here, he didn’t want to make malenia loose her title.
Dang Godrick ended up doing more damage to Malenia than Rennala and Morgott combined...

a surprised to be sure....considering how cowardly Godrick is compare to the both of them...yet he is the one who stood longer, i guess after that humiliation he finally man up abit
That's only true if you go by her health at the end of the fight. Morgott took down almost a third of Malenia's first form HP and she healed it all back by damaging him. Rennala didn't do jack so Godrick definitely had her beat. Godrick did a lot of damage at the very end but total fell short of what Morgott did early on.
Damage done before death:
Morgott: 9127 damage
Rennala: 1778 damage
Godrick: 8313 damage
Godrick did honestly a lot better than I thought he would though, so credit where it's due. It's also important to note that almost a quarter of the damage Godrick did was Fire Damage which Malenia is weak to while almost half of what Morgott did was Holy Damage which she is strong against.

You should do a tournament of all the broken stuff you've shown on here. Have this Malenia, ng+7 Prime Radagon/Rennala duo, Godskin Trio, all of the different versions of Gideon in some kind of power ranger style team, ng+7 Radahn festival summons, etc.
"in kind of power ranger style" bro its incredibly funny, add nepheli and other strong gideon's pawn all in NG+ and it would be cool to see
And then add the broken bosses in vanilla on top of that...
Malenia’s basegame waterfowl lasts a manageable 5 seconds.

Rick was giving Malenia room to breath, he's not one to just pumble his opponents into a corner, he wants a real fight.

@@min24434 Kinda, after the 3rd Aeonia, she unlocks a few new attacks. Also the 3rd Aeonia is special compared to the first 2.

On a serious note, this mod is a lot of fun. It's nice to feel so humbled and helpless after so long against Malenia, reminds me of my first few attempts to beat her. I've yet to reach phase 2, but I've gotten her to about 25% in phase 1 (on NG+) a few times, even a couple hitless, before getting pulverized. It's crazy how many variations of waterfowl dance there are, but they each have their own tells so it's not (entirely) unfair. Not looking forward to the havoc that is phase 2, lol.

yeah, the fact that her (now more spamable) scarlet aeonia spawns waterfowling rot clones which you have to dodge multiple of while dealing with the giant radium flower covering 80% of your screen looks real fun. Best of luck to you though
@@Vengeance_I_m would you like to show the class your completed fight then? It's not like I'm standing halfway across the arena and taking half her HP before she even attacks, you *can't* do that with this mod due to how aggressive she is. She closes gaps near instantly and leaves no room to breathe. The best a caster can do is fire off a glintstone pebble between waterfowl flurries, lol. If you've beaten her melee only, then by all means bask in the glory. But until then, keep those words to yourself.
@@catercrawler2 yeah.. It's gonna be a long while before I get the hang of it. My thoughts are that I'll have to try and group the aeonias close together on one side of the arena so they don't take up all the room. Thanks, though. Definitely gonna need it here.. I'd say this is likely gonna be my second hardest challenge in my gaming history if I beat it.
@BjornTheBear I saw a incredibly busted version of maliketh on nexus -It's called "lore accurate maliketh". His destined death procs go on for nearly forever, and he knockbacks opponents hundred kms away. It would be interesting to see how well any ng+7 boss fares against him.
If Malenia wouldn't have lifesteal and she would deal exactly 0 damage, Godrick would easily deafeat her.
But lifesteal is a part of her so….

@@leonardocarrion1996 the lore says that Malena learned the way of the water to counteract the scarlet rot (she learned it from the blind swordsman or whatever his name was) which is implemented by her having lifesteal

The arena definitely worked against some of the bigger bosses, but still this mod is crazy broken in these fights
This version of Malenia is incredibly busted but also absolutely fascinating to watch fight. Her battles are like a graceful yet deadly dance to the death
I swear, as far as From is concerned, Godrick's laugh is my favorite, second only to the Fat Official.

Chunks of flesh off around his forearm. His elbows haveing little to no flesh left and burned almost or bones as well. That's what I meant, not just the face.

All fights are damn awsome but the reason the elden beast is generally sonhard is because of its massive boss arena and its pension for running away as soon as youbget close to it.
Next time give Mohg true Nihil, so he can counter her broken scarlet aeonia and also cause real damage
Also it's surprising, Godrick did better than Morgott
He was NG+ 7 😂😂😂 and if you notice didn't even use the broken waterfall dance just normal attacks
@@kevincruz8692 and NG+7 uses true Nihil just like regular Mohg. him not having access to his strongest attack is pointless cuz why would you nerf a vanilla boss and put them against a super buffed modded one?
@@paracame8162 Not really a nerf to not have full damage Nihil against boses. It's part of the game design. Giving him NG+7 while not upscaling her stats is already an advantage. You can give him Nihil that does full damage to bosses and then give her NG+7 to match his. Then let's see how pointless Ng+7 is and how useful his Nihil is.
Not that it'd make a difference, but several bosses here need their arenas.

Perhaps this Mod vs random pairings of other Bosses plus their armies. Or randomized groups of 4 other Bosses.

Great video as always! Though I feel Malenia's arena hindered the larger bosses who rely on distance to attack/connect. I doubt it'd change the outcome much, but it would be, at least, more pleasant to watch.
Plus, you know it's a BS boss when even Rick gets done in.

Honestly, her clearing everyone isn’t even a surprise. She got an extended Waterfowl Dance and her 2nd phase makes Scarlet Aeonia 100% busted.

Astel , maliketh and mohg were the best in their part ! They gave a pretty serious beatdown to malenia. Especially Astel, damn he was so furious ! Also Placidusax could've a lot if only there was more room . I mean his best attack was wasted !

No. Not a chance. The 2nd phase is pure horror, and that's not counting the 3rd phase.
Could you try Rick Soldier of God mod on Nexus? You know, the one they give his Destined Death and shits. Maybe putting him against Unalloyed Malenia or just vanilla bosses but that is up to you.

Even though she never knew defeat Radahn stalemated her in their lore battle to where she had to use her scarlet aeonia and remember Radahn in his maddened weakened state after the battle was still able to hold back the stars think about how strong he was then
